Goldman Sachs is now perceived as “continuing to profit from the fires it is setting throughout the financial world” according to Lewitt, and he makes some interesting closing remarks.

“There is a plethora of ways to earn a profit in the financial world, as Goldman knows better than any other firm in existence; that doesn’t mean the firm has to take advantage of every one of them ... At some point, Goldman’s hubris is going to catch up with the firm if it doesn’t begin to consider that how it generates profits is just as important as how much profit it generates.”
