I'm so glad there are others who have tons of questions about this case.  It just seems wrong somehow to let this case go with a simple, 'oh drat, another tragic accident due to alcohol'.  No no no no no!  I think there's MUCH MORE to this case, it truly feels like a double murder.  I wish there was a way we could actually team up with someone close to Shantina and/or her family in order to help each other make some sense of all this.

Got the video to work, this is the one where Az is clowning for the camera.  lol  Bittersweet to watch. 

She doesn't buy anything, just gets directions it looks like. 

What seems weird to me anyway, is when she leaves, she does something at the door, can't make out what she's doing, can anyone else?  Takes a long time in the doorway, whatever it is.

This has the clerk showing her a map, she barely pays attention and walk away before she really could see much, the clerk was left still pointing out something on the map, finally folds it up.  She gets the wine, Az gets the water, she pays for it, they leave.

This is the same store as above, but three different camera angles
doesn't show the part with the clerk and the map.  shows shantina getting the wine and etc til as above til they leave.  then shows them approaching the van.  shantina does something in the front seat from the right side of van, and drops on ground what looks like the store receipt.  (LE couldn't find receipt for the wine later on).  she then goes around to driver's side, gets in, hits curb as she is leaving.

I disagree.

There is nothing that points to a POI, or murder(s) there is only, IMO, a set of circumstances that end in tragedy, caused by stupidly and senselessness.

Follow the purple line from A-G...this is her route (minus any stops that have not been reported).  My question at the moment is why is she clear over where A is at?  If she took I-5...I'm not sure if that has been verified or not...but, if she took I-5 I do not see how she was over in  that area?!  I know that we aren't certain where she was at when she called Robb at 6:45pm...but, per his reports she just stopped off to get a bite to eat and get out of the traffic...An hour later she is seen in this area...buying food...ten minutes later she is seen at Safeway asking for directions (to where?)...Less than an hour later she is buying corndogs at Martin Way Diner (no report of her asking for directions)...Less than an hour later she is at the Mercantile...ten minutes later she is at the Williams house...thirty minutes later she is at the Mercantile (I don't think one of these Mercantile's is correct)...I cannot check that right now...An hour later...the police believe is when the van is on the beach.

There is a man on her myspace that is listed as living in Olympia...he is 30...when I looked him up he has an address in Tenino...which is right off of 1-5...It appears that his dad is from Castle Rock...but I don't see any other relation between him and Shantina...I wonder who he is?

First thank you Skye/dd for having so much information on your site. Wykes directed me to read what you have and it is plenty.

It does to me as well Wykes. For all we know Shantina was asked to buy the wine or did so as a way to say she was sorry for being late. There is no proof she actually drank the wine and as we all know, that is not enough to make someone so drunk to make them lost for 4 hours.
We are hearing one side of a story that has changed over and over again by Robb.

Example: I watched a video of an interview he did on ABC and asked when was the last time he last spoke to Shantina, he didn't say at 6:45 as he wrote on facebook, he said at 4:10 when she called him to say she was leaving and he asked her to bring the phone charger he left behind. Why did that change? Did he suddenly forget she supposedly called at 6:45 to ask he bring the phone she forgot, she was stuck in traffic, he was doing a repair to his bike? Really?
Why has he done things as deleted any posts after 2008? I look on his myspace and see posts that say how much she loved him, how happy she was blah, blah, blah. Where are the newer posts? Oh and he also says he suggested they get married because he may have cancer and this possible cancer is why she fell off the wagon. I read on a copy of her myspace she spoke about possibly having cervical cancer in 2008, why didn't she start drinking then? Surely as a single mom she would have been freaked out to think maybe she was going to die?
 
Her probation was ending this April, does that figure into any of this?  Did the terms of her probation included she couldn't leave the state, did she have plans to leave the state?

Robb states they were happy, she was content, I suppose all except for the fact she was freaked beyond freaked about his maybe, possibly having cancer. He says on a radio show he had been passing blood for a few weeks and he looked on the internet and found that could be a sign of colon cancer. So this is what threw her off the wagon because it was so stressful to possibly think that a person you love and wish to spend your life with was maybe, possibly dying. This is why she was going to throw away everything and start drinking again. But besides this stresser, she was in a good way. They were going to get married, something he suggested because he might be dying, she had just gotten a full time job, she was happy! Well, I was in a relationship that I had to leave. The person I was leaving had no idea I had plans, it was easier that way and less confrontational. I had to get a car, a full time job so I could support myself and my children, I had to save money. It took about a year or so to get everything together. My story is very similar to other women leaving a relationship or marriage. When I was finally able to leave, my ex?, well he started the whole pleading, lets get help, you can't leave me, what about the kids...Did this happen with Robb and Kat? Did he suggest they get married, not because he maybe dying but because she wanted to leave him?  Did she get a full time job not only because she was promoted but because she needed to support herself? Did he use this supposed possible colon cancer as a way to get her to stay?
I read another posts that said she was tired because she was going to school and raising 2 kids full time and being a DJ on the weekends, who is the other child she was raising along with her son full time?
I could list 50 more examples of the inconsistencies in this case. I think this was not a series of mistakes and misfortunes, this was a murder. Shantina and Azriel more then deserve an investigation to be opened.

I want to agree with you but I can't.

She was making foolish moves, yes but, I do not think she put herself or her son in harms way.. That is why I keep looking. There is no reason that she could drive out on DRY beach and end up dead. If she was stuck homes were very close by and they could walk up the road they came in on..
 How many other people have ended up dead because they drove out on that beach at low tide ? Or any beach in this area ? It is not a rip tide area..There are no crashing waves..

But everyone has an opinion. I respect yours.

Jerry Smiley did an interview, it says he is in Castle Rock. There is a person in Olympia that was listed with this last name. Not sure if this person is related to him or not.

The POI in this case could be almost anyone.. A complete stranger could have offered help and both of them are dead because they accepted that help.

Shantina shows a pattern of behavior in her own actions of that night in approaching complete strangers... That is not a good thing to do in this day and age unless you have adults with you.
