Boise teen Amanda Mespelt missing Idaho (FOUND SAFE)

 BOISE -- It’s a family's worst nightmare - a Boise teenager leaves for school and never returns home.

Federal agents are on the lookout for a 17-year-old Amanda Mespelt who has been missing since last Thursday.

They say it began with a conversation the girl had with someone on the Internet.

There are more questions than answers as to Amanda’s whereabouts.

She was last seen around noon six days ago.

NewsChannel 7 talked with Amanda’s mom who says she’s pretty sure that wherever her daughter is -- there's sure to be a stranger she met online with her.

Missing Child!!!
Please HELP us find Amanda Sue Mespelt
She is 17 years old 5'8" and 165 lbs.
Natural Platinum blonde shoulder- length hair with Blue eyes.
Last seen Thursday February 15th at approximately 3pm at Borah High School wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt that has an image of Disneyland embroidered on the back, with fuzzy hot pink slippers and a light blue Jansport backpack.

Amanda may have been abducted by an oline predator and may still be in Idaho.
