Details Of Anthony Jail Friendship Surface
Inmate Alleges Anthony Briefly Given Pair Of Scissors

POSTED: Wednesday, April 7, 2010
UPDATED: 7:56 am EDT April 8, 2010
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Was Casey Anthony allowed to spend the night with another inmate? And was she given a pair of scissors behind bars?

New information is surfacing in court documents about a friendship between a female inmate and Anthony, the woman accused of killing her own daughter.
Using a hand-drawn map of the Orange County Jail's women's dorm, inmate Robyn Adams showed investigators where she was housed -- in cell 19 upstairs. She said Casey Anthony was locked up downstairs in cell 12.

At first, the two women would communicate with each other with flashed hand signals across a room, Adams said.

But when corrections officers caught on, Adams was moved to a different cell so the two inmates could no longer see each other, Adams said.

That's when Anthony first started writing letters, which she would stuff between the pages of a book titled, "Let's Do Away With August," Adams said.

Nearly every morning, Anthony would leave that book on a cart in the dorm's common area and Adams would pick it up at night, Adams said.

When Anthony returned to jail in September 2008, she was locked up in cell 22. According to Adams, that is where the two women began meeting face to face whenever Adams was allowed to watch TV by herself in the common area. Adams said corrections officer Silvia Hernandez allowed the two women to talk through the slit in Anthony's cell door, which is against jail rules.

"We would talk to each other through the bean hole. We would talk for hours," Adams told investigators.
On occasion, Hernandez would allegedly open the cell door so Anthony and Adams could see each other, Adams claimed. And once, the corrections officer actually allowed her inside Anthony's cell, which is an allegation Hernandez denies, Adams said.

Hernandez said that on one occasion she let Anthony cut Adams' hair.

"Robyn wanted her bangs cut," Hernandez told investigators.

"I took Robyn to the door of Casey Anthony and I gave her the scissors and said, 'Go ahead and cut the bang right there at the door,'" Hernandez said.

Hernandez admits she knew Anthony and Adams were improperly passing letters. The corrections officer did not facilitate the communication, but she said she did not stop it either.

Meanwhile, new allegations are surfacing that Anthony attorney Jose Baez also broke jail rules by secretly passing messages to his client.

In her letters, Casey Anthony wrote, "My attorney is keeping tabs on my family for me, and exchanging letters between us."

In another letter, Anthony claims her attorney is trying to "smuggle" in some word search puzzles.

Baez has declined comment since the letters were released. A Chicago-based legal team for Anthony on Tuesday released a statement that said in part, "The letters released today reflect the natural desire for companionship when isolated for 23 hours a day, and clearly demonstrate Casey's unconditional love for her daughter Caylee. Despite these intentions, it is obvious in the letters authored by Robyn Adams that her sole purpose and only goal in corresponding with Casey Anthony was to create 'leverage to get out of prison early.' "
Outside the attorney's entrance at the jail, a sign clearly states that "Attorneys are not authorized to convey to an inmate any written communication of a personal nature."
Ooh, Baez, BUSTED!  I hope finally someone involved in this case gets busted for breaking the law.  And by the way, Casey doesn't sound like she's being punished unduly.  Watching her soaps, reading, whining about the food, visits from her "boys".  Gee, she's bored, boo hoo.  It doesn't sound harsh enough for someone who murdered her daughter. (I know, she's not been convicted yet.  But she was convicted of stealing from Amy, so shouldn't she be doing some form of hard time?  Baah.

Good Morning Monks!  thanks trim......I questioned the scissors as well...Ms. Hernandez gave an accused murdered a pair of scissors........and opened the cell door..........she is a danger to herself and the the jail....she needs to go.  IMO
I don't even know what to say. I also wanted to say that if Casey is making this up about George and Lee and the sexual abuse, I do feel sorry for both men to have such vile accusations thrown their way, that is horrible.

In an undated later to her jailmate friend, whom she called "Cookie," Anthony wrote that she blamed herself for her brother fondling her over a three-year period, from when she was 12 to when she was 15. She also wrote that she would wake up in the middle of the night with brother Lee Anthony staring at her from the floor of her bedroom.

Casey wrote that she told her mother about the behavior and that Cindy Anthony's response was "that he was sleep walking."

Lee Anthony did not return voice mails or e-mails for comment.

George and Cindy Anthony denied the allegations.

"The Anthony family denies that there was any improper sexual behavior in their family, nor was there ever a time when Casey told them of sexually inappropriate conduct by her brother or father," Anthony family attorney Brad Conway said in an e-mail.

So the A's are now saying the candidate for Mother of the year .........   LIED about their perfect family.  Or will this just one of those mistruths sin-sin mentioned Monkey Devil!

I read that Lee made a statment but have not been able to find it.
I have not seen Lee's statement either. I don't know what the Anthonys are suppose to do in this situation. If they wouldn't have said anything through the lawyer that would look suspicious, and with them saying something through their lawyer that also looks suspicious. Since everyone is a liar, it makes it impossible to know who is telling the truth

I can't stand it either!  I turned on the day the letters were released, just to see how wrong she could get it- and she did, error after error. I tried to phone into the show to contradict some BS that Jane Weintraub was lying about and couldn't get through, for the entire hour, so she has an audience, I would think most people are sick of her.

I didn't know Lee made a statement.  What could he possibly say?  By the way, who sleeps in a bra anyway?  At age 13?  The Anthonys are caught in their own trap...Casey is a liar, Casey only lies about certain things, our family is perfect, except for the murder of our granddaughter, our daughter is a sociopathic thief and round heeled skank, Dad is a gambler, cheater, wastrel, Mom is a controlling fiend who probably also cheated on Dad, and, oh, yes, almost forgot, brother, (and maybe Dad, too,) is accused of trying to molest innocent Casey.
How can they rationalize supporting her?  I don't get it.

Mornin', Monks!  Interesting stuff out there lately, huh?  Robyn Adams seems pretty manipulative herself, even with all the religous trappings.  Her letters to her friend Tracy appears to suggest that she is using Casey.  She also acts like a victim, as if she had nothing to do with her own crime, and that she was betrayed by the confidential informant, David Badali.  Robyn seems to have more in common with Casey than at first glance.

Morning Monka!  I think you are right...........birds of a feather ya know.

Busted, but I am anxious to see if there will be repercussions!  Like we were saying yesterday, kc will adjust to prison life quite well....just as she has to jail life....although prison life will be tougher and she will not be the protected 'celebrity'.  When some of the prisoners that are in jail with her now hear about a couple of the remarks she made....her ass will be grass if an get hold of her....talking about the 'chocolates'........

If they wouldn't have said anything through the lawyer that would look suspicious, and with them saying something through their lawyer that also looks suspicious. Since everyone is a liar, it makes it impossible to know who is telling the truth

so true....the old saying about making a bed and laying in it....that's exactly what they have done..........the truth would have been better all the way around.  Last night my sweetie and I were talking about this very thing.  Had the A's acted and reacted like normal people....they could have written books and gotten movie deals..and people would buy the books and watch the movies....now, not a shot in hell!!

Baah.

Baez will get a serious azz kicking by the Florida Bar for his part in this, smuggling contraband into a jail.... how stupid can this man get-  don't answer that.  We haven't heard from the Jail yet either, about his antics... and he wants MORE privacy. No telling what he would do with it..
I hope he gets his Bae-Azz handed to him on an aluminum platter.  (Silver is too good for him!)
Do you really think he will get spanked?  It seems to me that he always gets away with EVERYTHING!  I guess I'm really bothered by the unfairness.

Yes, Delicious Monkey and all-----The whole bunch except Casey get away with everything.  The Anthonys have clearly violated a number of laws dealing with accessory after the fact, interfering with an investigation, tampering with evidence, lying to authorities, etc. etc. etc.  They and Milstead should have been arrested after the high speed chase through a residential area, IMO. Threat of bodily harm, endangering pedestrians, also etc.  George should have been charged for shoving that old lady.  She was in the street, not George's property.  Assault and battery  at the very least.  Lee should have been arrested for petty theft, stealing the dog bowl which was on public property and destroying that young woman's sign.  The rest of us would have been arrested in a New York minute had we acted that way, but for some reason, the cops feel sorry for the Anthonys and they have carte blanch to do whatever they wish with no repercussions.

Also, IMO, Baez should have been removed from the case for incompetence.  I know that Casey said he's the lawyer she wants, but is she even qualified to judge?  She's an ignorant high-school drop-out who is hardly the one to rate an attorney.
The fact that he's been warned in the past to not have physical contact with Casey should be considered now that it's known for sure that he passed notes to her from her so-called family.  I recall George and/or Cindy saying on LKL that Baez delivered letters to Casey from them.  Why does this little pip-squeak not ready-for-prime-time lawyer get a pass for all of this? So far the Bar has exonerated him for all infractions previously reported.  Do they even care?

For that matter, why is Hernandez getting a pass for violating the jail rules.  She seems to have been making friends with the inmates instead of maintaining order.  Casey this, Robyn that, Casey this, Robyn that.  Shouldn't there be a law against fraternizing with the inmates?  She should be calling them by their last names and doing her job, which is to make sure the rules are enforced and order and safety maintained.

Remember when Casey told Amy that she must have been sleep walking?  Now she says that Cindy says Lee was sleep walking.  I don't know but I personally have never known anyone who sleep walks.  It seems to be a favorite of Casey's.

Casey Anthony jailhouse letters started with a wave

Their relationship started as a simple one. Two isolated women, desperate for some type of communication with another, exchanged a wave, a hand signal.

But in the months that Casey Anthony and Robyn Adams both spent in the Orange County Jail, a friendship developed, one that involved secret, hours-long chats and extensive letter writing.

When the remains of Anthony's 2-year-old daughter Caylee Marie were found in woods near the family's east Orange County home in December 2008, The Orlando Sentinel reports that Adams shared a private moment with her friend through a food slot in Anthony's cell door:

It was one of many clandestine moments shared between the two women, some of them disclosed publicly this week when Adams' interviews and dozens of letters written to her by Anthony were released by state prosecutors.

Anthony, 24, remains at the Orange County Jail facing a first-degree murder charge in Caylee's death.

If you have any concerns regarding anything in Ms. Hernandez statement, as I do....here is who you can voice your concerns to:

Major Johnson
PO BOX 4970
Orlando FL 32802-4970

Administration Receptionist: 407-836-3560

I called the above to find out who I could speak to regarding concerns.....the receptionist was very haughty in the beginning. She questioned why I would have any concerns over what Ms. Anthony may say as it is well known she is a habitual liar. I told her if it was just from Casey, I wouldn't be concerned. However since the scissors info came directly from Ms. Hernandez I feel it is my right and duty to express my concern.

I wanted an email address and will keep trying to get one....but this is a start.  I also want to voice my concern that the letters got out of the jail system, and that the attorney, BOZO, was carrying letters back and forth........I am damn tired of this azzhole getting free passes.....

Good Morning Monkeys and Guest!

Not making light of anyone who has been molested, but I think if there was any molesting going on in the Ant's home, Casey was the instigator.

Good morning everyone!

So Lyons is putting out that Casey had unconditional love for her daughter, ey?   Well beast, let me ask you this:   What mother (young or not) goes for years without a legitimate steady job providing no financial support for her child?   What mother goes out partying practically every night?   What mother carries out a wanton disregard for her own health by screwing half of her community of guys?  What mother admits to drugging her child so that she will remain asleep so she could go out?  What mother takes the risk of landing in jail for habitual stealing?  What mother would not report her child missing & ascertain every avenue of assistance to locate her for over a month?... sorry dont give me the scared excuse because REAL mothers dont work on fear when it comes to their flesh & blood.    O and by the way why does this twisted twit seem to think the public should give a rats behind that her podium defendant is isolated for 23 hours per day, as if, hello she's there for a reason & that reason is beyond heinous.   "natural desire for companionship"  give me a break, this evil ho spent way too much time desiring companionship while all the while neglecting her own child & then having her child pay the ultimate price HER LIFE because her mother is a self-absorbed monster...In one abbreviation, STFU!
