We'll get a glimpse into Casey Anthony's life in behind bars Tuesday with the expected release of letters that the accused child killer wrote to another inmate.

Orange County Investigators say a corrections officer helped Casey pass more than 250 pages of letters to Robyn Adams, the wife of a former Altamonte Springs police officer, who was in jail for helping her husband sell grow and pot

"You are going to find, if you look at them in context, a person who's locked up 23 hours a day," defense attorney Jose Baez said Monday.

Casey's defense had 15 days to fight release of the letters but chose not to.

"We have nothing to hide," Baez said.

The corrections officer who helped them communicate has been suspended with pay for breaking jail protocol.

OMG  a  double dose week!   Now this should be interesting to look inside the mind of a sociopath murdering ho ho ho cooped up for all eternity.

O/T hearing on MJ case coming up, HLN will be covering it

Just musing here....the ugly sour looks on the A's faces today...would it have anything to do with what's written in KC's notes??

That would be nice if that's why they looked so bitter today.

The upcoming trial with Zenaida & Mr. Morgan will somewhat re-arrange the chessmen on the board to an interesting degree.   That is the beauty of Mr. Morgan's litigation---it has deftly left all of the wicked liars' sails  limply flapping in the wind so far.   And they've grown nervous having to wait at water's edge to see just what the winds will dictate from that trial.  I think it's going to be really interesting.

You are SO RIGHT !!!! I had not even thought about that....good observation.

I would imagine they are fully aware that they were going to lose this motion today & are probably freakin out that it will all lead back to them.    Even Casey's eyes bulged when LB was being discussed in the hearing today.   I also agree that they have to be pretty dang nervous what their sociopath monster is going to ramble about in those letters.

Today's proceedings has filled my head with an entire flashback of this case  & a total resurgence of frustration that we have to wait so long for justice to be served for Caylee.  There is no doubt in my mind that Cindy confronted Casey on the evening of June 15th as she was seething after having to beg/argue with Shirley not to press charges against Casey for yet again stealing from her grandparents (via Shirley's statements & reports from the neighbor that there was a loud argument).   I believe Cindy threatened to get custody of Caylee & Casey threatened her mother back...from there Caylee was the innocent victim at the hands of the devil's sister & her spawn.   If one looks at each time Cindy was confronted with if they had an argument her face gets contorted with contempt & a failed attempt at deception.  Cindy knows what her last words to Casey were before Caylee was killed, she knows down deep that she used Caylee as a weapon against Casey & Casey used Caylee as a weapon against her mother.

I believe George lied about seeing Casey & Caylee the next day around lunchtime & the evening before he was not at home until 10-11PM because he was working, which has been/can be verified.   I would not be shocked that Casey drowned Caylee because that was the last place she knew her to be enjoying time with her grandmother before she got home the evening of the 15th.  I'd be very curious for forensic specialists to somehow simulate a child drowning & then being placed in a trunk bagged to see what it would emit over time.   The only thing that stops me from this method of murder is Casey's computer searches regarding chloroform & neck breaking months prior to Caylee being killed.  The reason I revisit this is because of the statements George made that Cindy called him why the gate was open & the pool ladder moved.  If this took place it might explain Casey's flurry of cell pings on the 16th, but I would have to look back to see if those times would have been when George reported that he normally went to work after his cooking show because surely even Casey wouldnt have been bold enough to do it in the dark of night with her parents in the house.  I think afterwards Casey used items that belonged to Caylee from home that a "nanny" might have & did what she did to make it look like an abduction/murder.  She made one huge mistake, the heart sticker - a stranger, a nanny not even a grandparent would commit that final act of placing that sticker over a triple wrap of duct tape over this sweet child's mouth & nose - I would venture to project that most psychologists would tend to agree that this act would more likely be by a parent that killed their child.  Another reason why the heartshaped sticker leads right to Casey is because she was a known fan of scrapbooking as well as taking photographs & many stickers were taken right from her room into evidence.   Cindy's 7/3 myspace entry "my Caylee is missing" tells the truth of what happened, Casey took off with Caylee never to be seen again & Cindy knew something was terribly wrong & she frantically called Casey's friends & had Lee looking for her, when she smelt that car she knew Casey did the unthinkable & she feels responsible that her threat was the trigger.   This trigger not being the first time a dysfunctional self-absorbed woman made against a daughter.   Don't get me wrong if most of us had a son/daughter that acted out like Casey we'd be inclined to reprimand & threaten to do something about it, the difference is most of us would have done something constructive, seek professional assistance & stick to it.   Cindy lashed out at Casey but concealed how evil she was to the world then repeating a cycle of ridicule, threats & then protecting time in and time out because having it be common knowledge was what Cindy dreaded more than facing the truth & dealing with Casey's ongoing & escalating antisocial behavioral pattern.    This pattern is repeated by Cindy even with her dead beat husband, to her its all about appearances.    It is also my belief that Cindy takes some twisted pleasure in Casey providing her the avenue to play victim.   Like mother, like daughter they both strive for attention & living in a world in their minds that is all about them, they do not care how that attention is obtained.   Casey has absolute contempt for her parents, that is clear so I do not believe for one minute that she would take the fall as she has if her parents (or anyone actually) were responsible in any manner for Caylee's death.   I equally believe wholeheartedly that if she could she would indeed pin Caylee's murder on them in a heart beat.  Casey's behavior in court for several hearings now indicates a few things 1) she is indeed a sociopath with narcissistic tendencies 2) she loathes her parents & will not give them the time of day, not even a glance.   Casey is fully aware of how her parents have been accessories after the fact to conceal her crime, the lies they've told - the fact is she just doesnt care about anyone but herself.    I also think that the statement that Casey made in defiance & contempt for what her mother was going to do regarding Caylee's cremation & subsequent memorial was her way of letting her parents know she was done with them.  I dont think Cindy & George have been all this time worried about the media or anyone hearing their visits, I think Casey refuses to see them.  This thought may be affirmed by the fact that Lyons made it known that she felt Casey should see her parents, it still has not transpired, a year and a half later that she has been incarcerated after indictment.  At trial its a reasonable expectation that Casey thru her defense team will be painted as a victim of her parents "abuse" & after the evidence stacks up against her at that point all her defense team will be left to do is drive that concept into the ground hoping to spare her despicable life.   While I may have a tinge of empathy that Casey & Lee had the parents they did, it does not excuse what Casey did as an adult that could have chose a host of other options to get away from this toxicity...just trust me how deeply I know this both personally & thru experience I've had with my work history.    O my, this went a tad bit long....I'll say goodnight & cyas tomorrow for another busy day when we get to read Casey's jail penpal correspondence.

Casey Anthony Jailhouse Letters May Be Revealed
24-Year-Old Charged With Daughter's Death
ORLANDO, Fla. --
Secret letters written by Casey Anthony will come to light Tuesday.

The 24-year-old passed along letters to fellow inmate Robyn Adams, who Anthony's defense team is calling a jailhouse snitch.

"Jailhouse snitches are a big problem. They lie to benefit themselves," Orlando defense attorney Richard Hornsby said.

Anthony was able to exchange around 50 letters with the woman.

The letters offer a first glimpse into Anthony's life in jail. She is being held at the Orange County Jail on no bond charged with murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony. Caylee's remains were found in a wooded area off Suburban Drive near the Anthony family home in December 2008. The young mother maintains a nanny by the name of Zenaida Gonzalez kidnapped Caylee.

According to court papers, there are 258 pages believed to be hand written by Anthony.

"The amount of notes isn't very shocking," Hornsby said
A jailhouse investigation revealed a correctional officer delivered the letters between the two women from their cell.

Jose Baez, Anthony's lead attorney, did not object to the release of these letters because he said there was nothing incriminating in them, but apparently Anthony spends a lot of time bashing her parents, George and Cindy Anthony.

Prosecutors most likely will use these letters against Anthony in her murder case.

Casey Anthony jail house letters to be released

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Today we're waiting to get some jail house letters that Casey Anthony wrote to other inmates.

Anthony wrote roughly 50 letters to another inmate in the Orange County jail. Her defense isn't fighting to keep the letters from becoming public.

“We're not concerned with anything in there. There's no admissions," said Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez.

But sources say there are harsh words.

Sources tell FOX 35 that Anthony’s parents might not want to look at the letters. Apparently their daughter isn't very kind to them.

“If we move to keep them private, you guys are going to speculate all over them about what's in there," said Baez.

Anthony remains in protective custody in a solitary cell. She’s only let out for minimal amounts of time and, according to jail policy, is not supposed to have communication with other inmates.
You’ll find if you look at them in context they are of a person locked up 23 hours a day. We have nothing to hide with those letters," said Baez.

Excellent news, now bring on the notes

I agree.     Let's see what the propaganda notes have to say!
Yes, mommy did this and daddy did this, and they were so mean. And Lee he tried to molest me. And Caylee how I love her.

No doubt....    Bozo wants them put out there for a reason.

I think it was reported by a media rep that claims to have seen some of the letters that Caylee was never mentioned.  Bozo said on Insessions that some of what Casey said will be scrutinized but there is no confession.

Wow.   Its hard to understand why she would never mention Caylee.   Also, hard to understand why Bozo would allow them to be put out there - because it will be another glimpse into the real KC character.   Unless, of course, he told her what to write in them.    Can't wait to read them!

It is easy for me to understand. In Casey's eyes, this is all about Casey...not about Caylee. Once the child was dead, the child never existed.  She hasn't talked about Caylee since day one. It's all about CASEY.

Prosecutors want transcripts of an August hearing where one of Casey Anthony's defense attorneys announced her innocence in court.

Assistant State Attorney Linda Drane Burdick wants the transcripts for the two-hour hearing on Aug. 21, 2009. She doesn't explain in her one-page request filed Monday why the state seeks the information.

Anthony, 24, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee. The 2-year-old's remains were found in woods less than a mile from her family home in December 2008.

At the August hearing, attorney Todd Macaluso, who is no longer a member of the defense team, announced in court: "The body or remains of Caylee Anthony were placed there after Anthony was locked up in the Orange County facility."

The defense at the time wouldn't go into details about what evidence they had. Macaluso's statement was part of the defense's request to obtain records from Texas EquuSearch, the volunteer group that helped search for Caylee.

The group claims there was too much flooding in the area and they could not search the exact location where Caylee was later found.

Good Morning Monks!  thanks trim..............ummmmm I wondered what the request for the transcript was.....I wonder what LDB has up her smart sleeve.

Anthony's Jail Letters To Be Released
Defense Opts Not To Fight Release

POSTED: Tuesday, April 6, 2010
UPDATED: 8:10 am EDT April 6,2010
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Pen pal letters between Casey Anthony and another inmate at the Orange County Jail are expected to be released to the public today.

The state attorney's office is expected to release more than 250 pages of letters between Anthony and inmate Robyn Adams as early as this morning.

Anthony's attorneys were given a chance to fight their release, but announced Monday that they had chosen not to.

State prosecutors have said the letters contain information that is relevant to the murder case against Anthony, but do not contain a confession.

Anthony, 24, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee Anthony. Caylee was 2 years old when she was reported missing in July 2008. Her remains were found in December 2008.

Anthony and Adams exchanged more than 50 notes while in protective custody at the jail, a classification intended to prevent inmates from communicating with each other.

The letters were possibly passed with the help of a corrections officer.
Adams is now in federal prison serving a 10-year sentence for possession of marijuana.

Anthony is being held at the jail on no bond pending trial.

In the beginning while watching the early court hearings KC’s fidgeting seemed like a bad case of nerves or the like to me. But today I believe I finally saw through her constant grooming and her picking at the invisible lint and examining of the hands and nails, the gleeful rubbing of the hands together like she is starved and getting ready to eat with great hunger. No, now I do not see nerves, what I see is almost too horrible to comprehend. She is reveling at being the center of attention. The fake acts of grooming and such are to draw even more attention to her. She wants all eyes on her and draws us in with her contortions. She is preening for the audience and putting on a show for us.
It appears quite obvious to me that KC is actually enjoying being the star in her own reality show. The whole nation is watching and is centered on her. An army of attorneys fit for a queen at her beck and call. She is receiving the attention she has always so richly deserved. She has found the fame she always coveted, the special notice she has searched for her entire life. In her tiny warped mind she sees herself as famous rather than infamous, as anything negative could never apply to her. She is playing the part of a lifetime, a brave woman wrongly accused. She has played one part or another all her life, an actress, a chameleon, she has never been a genuine person. She isn’t capable of it because she has no sense of her own identity. She waits for the next act just to see who she will be this time. She thinks she hit the big time with this role but it is destined to be her swan song and it didn’t come soon enough.

N2, I agree....she is really loving being the star...JMO but I think in here mind she believes she will never be convicted and she is probably writing a book/movie about her 'ordeal' and when she walks out of court on BOZO and Mason's arm she will sell her story and star in her own movie.

Prosecutors today could release letters Casey Anthony exchanged with convicted drug dealer
Some news reports show the letters include criticism of her parents, George and Cindy Anthony.

By Walter Pacheco, Orlando Sentinel
8:49 a.m. EDT, April 6, 2010
The State Attorney's Office today could release some of the 258 pages of notes and letters Casey Anthony wrote to a female drug dealer she had met at the Orange County Jail.

Officials said the contents of the letters do not contain a confession, but a report on WESH.com shows the letters exchanged with the inmate include negative comments about her parents, George and Cindy Anthony.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement conducted an investigation into whether any Orange County Jail corrections officers violated regulations by helping the women communicate. An FDLE spokeswoman said in an earlier interview that the results of that probe were handed over to the Orange-Osceola State Attorney's Office.

Those letters could be used as evidence against Anthony. The 24-year-old is accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Marie Anthony. The child's remains were found in December 2008 not far from the home she shared with her grandparents.

Anthony is being held at the Orange County Jail under a protective-custody status, which prohibits her from directly communicating with other inmates.

"While there is no way to prevent inmates in adjacent cells from having fleeting communications, the passing of notes is something that would not be permitted," jail spokesman Allen Moore said.

FDLE investigators had said the inmate who received the notes, Robyn Adams, told agents she did not want to "get anyone in trouble," but said a county corrections officer may have helped the women stay in touch, according to prosecution records.
More said Orange County Jail officials launched their own investigation into the allegations and relieved corrections officer Silvia Hernandez of duty with pay in March.

"It's not uncommon to place employees on that status when investigating allegations," Moore said today. Moore also said the investigation is still active and did not confirm if Hernandez had been involved in the exchange of letters.

Hernandez, who has been with the jail for less than two years, is still an active Orange County employee; however, records show she turned in her badge and is prohibited from carrying a weapon pending the outcome of the investigation.
Officials first heard about the letters and notes after another female inmate — this one in state custody —contacted the Orange County Sheriff's Office, saying she, too, had communications with Anthony while in jail.

Orange Circuit Judge Stan Strickland had placed the letters under seal, ruling that defense attorneys should have at least 15 days to review them without the public knowing their contents.

Anthony's lead defense attorney, Jose Baez, said Monday he did not object to their release.

Anthony has been in the Orange County Jail since July 16, 2008. She is being held in a protective custody status which means she cannot directly communicate with other inmates.

Reports show Adams, the wife of a former Altamonte Springs police officer, currently is in a minimum security federal prison in Tallahassee. Adams had met Anthony at the Orange County Jail because she was also in protective custody because of her husband's law-enforcement status.

Adams and her husband were arrested in July 2008, after erecting a marijuana grow house in Chuluota. The couple intended to grow 2,000 pounds of pot, according to federal court records. She pleaded guilty to conspiracy and a weapons count and was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2009.

Rene Stutzman of the Sentinel staff contributed to this report.
