I swear that Baez is part of these letters. That he knew she was writing them at the time.
That is why he is blowing it off like they are no big deal.
He " knows" what is in the letters are Casey's depictions of a horrible home life etc...

If he didn't know about the letters at the time, when he did get his hands on them he thought omg this is brilliant. The public will read the letters and see what a "victim" Casey is. That she admits herself on paper what it was like living with GA/CA. Since Casey has never spoken to anyone.. he thinks " This is great" because there is nothing to compare her words/letters to - of anything she has said in the past.

It's all in his favor so he believes. His comment yesterday in the court room that "They are trying to Kill Casey" ..what ever he said. It all fits. He wants the public to find Pity for her.   

If the tone of the letters is to blame her parents/someone else for what has happened to her Baez not only approved them,he probably dictated them  We haven't heard from Ms Hernandez yet ( Jail officer).  If you have seen Andrea Lyons' tapes from conventions, read any of her publications, she emphasizes repeating that - the State wants to kill  my client"- at least Baez learned one thing from her.

Dagnabit, I've done radiation and seen the doctor today. My 40 page term paper is all ready for printing. My end of class paper is also ready for printing. All I have to do now is write my speech and prepare my presentation for tomorrow night (I'm studying CinSin's facial expressions for the "how not to parent" portion of my speech!)....

So what I'm sayin' is: I've done my part. I have scheduled this afternoon for those darn letters from that illiterate trailer-trash Barbie (not to dis anyone who ever lived in a trailer park...however, if you did and murdered your daughter, then, yeah, I'm dissin' ya!) and so I want to know:

WHERE'S THE DARN LETTERS? C'MON PEOPLE, I HAVE DEADLINES TO MEET!!

Maybe I should break my ban and do a few of these

That is exactly what this is all about. All part of the defense game.

I think the only reason Bozo isn't screaming to high heaven about these letters is that Mason stopped him, I don't like Mason but he is much wiser than Bozo. There was nothing they could have done about them so just pretend they aren't important. Or...maybe they are going to use them later as mitigating circumstances....who knows. Of course they could be the inane rambling of a resentful shut in but I'm ready...lets get going.

I just put cat nip on my fur baby's scratching pad...it keeps him loving this  piece of carpet for at least an hour or two....otherwise he will be on my keyboard or trying to snuggle.
