In the beginning, someone has to sell the slaves into bondage.  After a few generations, does it matter who?

Despite the promises of middlemen, does slavery ever make lives better?  Do those promised jobs in foreign lands provide dignity and a bright future?  Or, do they turn human beings into victims of those that traffic in human beings?

Does the story every change?

The many that take advantage of a just a few?  Same story today, as yesterday, as a thousand years ago.

The nation is broke and deeply in debt.

In the olden days, government sold folks into servitude when they couldn't pay their bills, became jobless, or homeless.  Some thought it was the human thing to do.  Others wanted money, rounded up folks, and sold them to strangers hundreds of miles away. 

For some reason, it's all about money and selling people.  The master still gets rich.

If someone has a half empty bag of rice to sustain themselves, how many will live when the bag is stolen?  Does it matter who consumes the rice, if the means to produce more rice is ignored? 

Does it do any good to talk about dividing the rice when there is no more rice in production? 

Today, the Obama Plantation celebrates healthcare reform.  The Obama Plantation will divide what's left of any wealth to pay for healthcare.  Does it matter that the system is broke before it starts?  In big debt?  Unsustainable?

What's the master doing while folks are arguing about rice or healthcare?

The master, at the Obama Plantation is giving away the spoils.  All the money.

While no one is looking, the Obama Plantation is passing large sums of money to the uber wealthy.

The big AIG pass-throughs - Goldman, big foreign banks

The big IndyMac pass-throughs - Goldman alumni, Soros, and political cronys

The Federal Reserve pass-throughs - trillions to secret organizations, political cronys, alumni organizations...

Who's looking out for Americans while the Obama Plantation is giving away our future?

Healthcare, jobs, our future is being used as a control tool, while political cronies, large Wall Street hedge funds and banks, hold out their money buckets.  Who's making these deals?  Who on the Obama Plantation is giving them the thumbs up?

Who's looking out for Americans?  All the little people?

Someone sells humans into slavery.  The misery starts somewhere.

Only a few get rich under the slave system.  Obamacare is just the start.  Window dressing for the Obama Plantation.

An empty bag of rice doesn't feed anyone.

The healthcare bill claims there are 38 million people in the united states with no medical coverage ..
The population of the united states is 350 million approx.

The law that Obama signs states this fact. " You must have medical coverage " or you will be Fined and Penalized by the Federal Government and can even be put into jail or have your children taken away for not supplying coverage.
You will have to show proof of individual coverage or purchase the government supplied plan.
That plan will be administered by insurance companies who supported this health care bill.

You are a slave to this.. You must and will have this insurance.. or they will take away your life.
 Which is driven by insurance companies that have just been very successful in implementing a law that says " YOU MUST BUY HEALTH INSURANCE "

Now the population that is currently covered is not safe. All major employers over time will now plan to cancel your existing coverage as they are no longer profitable in this economy will claim a cost cutting measures within there system of employment by dropping your coverage.

Now you have no coverage.. You will now pay for it..
 
I presently pay 1200.00 a month approx. for a health plan for my family as I am self employed.
You will pay the same or similar out of your pocket or you will be fined and penalized as
" IT IS LAW "

Welcome to Socialism. Those that voted for Obama voted for Socialism.

Nothing is for free.. Nothing.

Americans will pay more for healthcare, and unions get a free ride paid for by taxpayers. 

In contrast, the Labor Department's Web site lists pension plans that are in financial difficulty. Several SEIU pension plans are in critical status, meaning they have less than 65% of assets needed to fund financial obligations to future and current retirees, or in endangered status, with less than 80% of needed assets.

What's the connection? The SEIU needs more new dues-paying members to pay for the retirement of current members if it is to rescue its pension plans from subpar performance. It's a Ponzi scheme that would make Bernie Madoff proud. With many of its members employed in health care, the union believes - not illogically - that if more Americans have health insurance, the demand for health care will expand and so will employment in the health sector.

Edward....from what I have heard and read...I think that you are right on the money with your above post...sadly...the American way is going by the wayside...I had great hopes for Obama, although I did not vote for him...but now I can barely stand to listen to him "campaigning" ..I tune him out when he is talking...I wanted "change" as well as any other American was hoping for, but not at the extent of ruining our country...George Bush must be shaking his head and saying...I guess that the American people will see that I wasn't so bad after all...not that he didn't make mistakes..all of them are going to..they are only human..Never thought that it would turn out this way...I really feel that if John McCain would have had someone else besides Palin as his running mate, that he would have had a better chance of winning...jmo....

I think Bill Clinton  George Bush as well as his daddy and Obama were /\ are on a mission.

The people of the United States have been Dumbed Down to except. Although there are some people with the right state of mind, there are not enough of them or have the ability to rally American people to the right state of mind.
Everyone has to be on the same page in a successful rally in order to achieve change.
The changes have to be clear to all people in order for change to be excepted..

This plan has been in action for many years.. They are enjoying watching America Fall.

Clinton should have been impeached for having sex with Monica Lewinsky in the oval office.

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?

 These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.

Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.

So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.

Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper.

So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.

The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.

The proud American will go down into his slavery with out a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

How about a Canadian Opinion.. 

I returned to Canada the Sunday past on a flight from the U.S where everyone, as always, had obligingly and smilingly on departure undergone shoe and belt removal and, now, pat-downs by airport security.

Upon my arrival in Toronto, I picked up a copy of the Sunday Toronto Star which had a feature on Canadians buying up real estate in Florida and other hot spots for a fraction of what these properties were worth a few years ago. According to the article, these people buy up these properties, and then rent them out in what was described as a quite robust rental market. The rental market, it explained, is healthy at least in part because it is buoyed up by demand for rental accommodation from – THE PEOPLE WHO WERE FORCED OUT OF THE HOMES NOW BEING BOUGHT UP BY SPECULATORS!

So America, my question is this: When did you become collectively so docile and subservient that you now enthusiastically embrace every imaginable indignity imposed on travelers in the name of security, can have your jobs sent overseas, can have your houses stolen, can have your taxes swiped to pay vast sums to the people who stole your jobs and your homes, and do absolutely nothing about it?

Why is it that there are not daily riots in the streets of every city in America? Why is it that the only apparent expression of grass-roots political outrage in America seems to be an idiotic movement of stupid people desperate to defeat a nefarious plan to extend health care benefits to more people?

Seriously, as your longtime Canadian friend, I want to understand what happened, America. How did you collectively get so stupid, so docile, so gutless? Do Americans even know how stupid and cowardly they now seem to the rest of the world?

Why did Obama's government approve the IndyMac to OneWest deal?

It would have been cheaper to just give people their homes, than to funnel billions to OneWest.

Who made that deal?

Why didn't they break up IndyMac and sell it off in pieces to a diverse group of investors?  Get a better deal for homeowners and taxpayers?
