ORLANDO, Fla.--
Defense attorneys for Casey Anthony made a quick entrance and exit Friday at the office of the lawyer for Texas EquuSearch.

The attorneys reportedly left after the news media showed up.

Officials with EquuSearch said they now plan to try to break the standoff with Anthony's defense team in court.

A source said officials with Texas EquuSearch want the new judge in the case, Belvin Perry, to weigh in because they're they are fed up with playing the waiting game with Anthony's defense.

For more than eight months, officials with Texas EquuSearch have waged an epic legal battle have fought to keep private records of Central Florida residents who answered their call for help.

Those searches ended Dec. 11, 2008, with the discovery of Caylee Anthony's bones along Suburban Drive.

In August 2009, Anthony's defense team won the right to review records of those who searched closest to the location where Caylee's remains were found.

Anthony's attorneys claim at least two of those searchers looked in the very spot where Caylee's remains were found and saw nothing. That would back up their claim that someone else put the remains there after Anthony was indicted on murder charges and jailed on Oct. 14, 2008.

A source said EquuSearch plans to file legal paperwork to have the judge order Anthony's defense to review the records and be done with it.

EquuSearch attorney Mark NeJame would not comment on what the group is planning.

Good for Mark Nejame!  This sets a precident for all volunteer search organizations..volunteers do not need to have their names dragged through the mud simply because defense council can not find a single person to verify they saw Caylee Anthony after 7/16/08.

If this is accurate..why haven't they posted the "Unavailable Motion"?

Not that I am saying it isn't accurate....I am just so tired of the games being played by the media and the defense.

If this is true..then check my earlier post from today where I stated maybe he was finally trying to act professional by letting the court know when he was out.

Sorry..I still believe he is out of the picture as far the defense goes.  He has nothing to offer with Mason, Lyons, and Baden onboard.  Someone ..Mason.. must of told him we are going to play by the rules now...ask your students for a brush up.

Texas EquuSearch will try to break a standoff with Casey Anthony’s defense team, WESH-Channel 2 reported tonight.

Anthony defense attorneys Jose Baez and Cheney Mason visited the office of Mark NeJame, attorney for Texas EquuSearch, on Friday. The Anthony attorneys had gone to look at records of EquuSearch volunteers for the first time after an eight-month battle.

The defense had wanted photocopies of the records, but the judge twice ruled that the defense had to view them in NeJame’s office.

“The attorneys stormed out after the media showed up,” WESH anchor Martha Sugalski said of Friday’s visit.

WESH’s Bob Kealing cited “a source with Texas EquuSearch” who said the group  is “poised to ask the new judge here in the case, Belvin Perry, to weigh in on this issue, perhaps set some sort of deadline, because they’re tired of playing the waiting game with Casey’s defense.”

In another report, Kealing looked at the Anthony defense team’s contention that prosecutors sought the death penalty to break the defense financially.

That argument is “very unusual,” said Jeff Dowdy, who has defended dozens of death-penalty cases. “In my 21 years, I’ve never seen it nor have I ever used that argument,” Dowdy told Kealing. 

Kealing quoted another legal expert who said the defense has little chance of success in arguing that prosecutors are trying to break it financially.

All I see is that a scheduled request5 for June vacation time was given - but that doesnt mean that something else may also be going down.    I still want to know details on why "Macadoodle" and "Ursula" gave $70,000 each & where exactly that amount came from by both parties, detailed in financial summary.
