The first time I ever saw that I laughed and chuckled for HOURS! It struck me so hard that it ought to have a caption reading:

That definitly could be it and I seem to always come back to that but,
sometimes I think it is small minds full of hate for US tourists and people.

Bingo!  Hearing Dana and MikeonCrime talk about Adam DePrisco, I started thinking past the "tourism" excuse for the apathy, antagonism and coverups.  There are bad cops, dirty cops, cops who are friends of the suspect.  There are also people who hate Americans, hate Caucasians, resent the wealthy tourists (even if those tourists worked a long time to save for the trip) upon whom their livelihood depends.  Out of all the Americans that used to travel to Aruba, how many of them got drunk and wild and crazy?  A small percentage, I'm sure.  But that's what they remember; it's human nature, not just Mexicans or Arubans.  In the case of Natalee, there is someone making evidence go POOF and quieting witnesses or even cops who know the truth.  I don't know if this someone is government or criminal, but I'll bet the FBI, DEA or some Dutch authorities know who the real power players are down there.  

Ok, enough of this insightful, psychological banter on my part.  I watched Munich for the second time.  Pretty powerful movie that you need to see more than once.  It put me in this mood.

Leslie, seeing your location reminds me of a series of books I read when I was in grade school.  The Happy Hollisters.  One of the books was set in Quebec during Carnival.  I loved those books.  Made me feel like I was right there.  

Looks like it is just you and me this morning.  

So Gregory Kelly was murdered?  That's pretty interesting.  And Elvis Kelly is polis.  I'd be curious to know what happened.  Was Gregory a confidant who suddenly knew too much?  Or had threatened to tell whatever he might know?

Sorry, I had to download the latest version of Adobe and it took a long time.  Sounds like Mr. Kelly was in a casino, (or just left one) with a female friend, and they were mugged?
Never heard of the Happy Hollister books!  I wonder if there will be enough snow in Quebec City for Carnival this year.
