Investigators: Married couple wanted in sex assaults of Harris County teens

HOUSTON—Harris County investigators believe two suspected child predators may be on the loose in the Houston area.

Detectives say Aaron and Crystal Polanco, who are married, attacked two teenagers.

According to detectives, the alleged assaults occurred both at the couple’s television repair shop and at their northwest Harris County home.

Investigators said a 13-year-old boy was invited to the shop by Aaron Polanco, where he was given alcohol and sexually assaulted by both suspects.

Detectives said the assaults continued over a four-year period at the shop and at the Polancos’ home in the 6400 block of Crakston.

Aaron Polanco also allegedly photographed the victim and e-mailed him the pictures.

Investigators said a 16-year-old girl was also taken to the Polancos’ home in September of 2009, where she was sexually assaulted by Aaron Polanco numerous times.

After an extensive investigation, Aaron Polanco was charged with four counts of sexual assault of a child, one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of promoting child pornography. Six warrants for his arrest were issued on February 23, 2010.

Crystal Polanco was charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault, and three warrants for her arrest were issued for her on February 23, 2010.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of Crystal or Aaron Polanco.
