Bobo just said he is excited to have Judge Perry on the case.  Bobo felt they had the preofessional responsibility to file the motion against Stan.

Go figure, well we will just have to remind Bozo what the Florida Bar's professional responsibility is when he finally gets disbarred, and it will happen.   PS....Bozo's nose is growing

NOT a comment of Baez but of  " Judge Perry " today - Did anyone notice he was racking his foot against the base of his chair ? that the chair behind him * head rest* was gearing up for " take off " - OMG it went from a soft pace to ..Off the hook ..depending on who answered his questions ... I loved it.

Not to compare Judge Perry with anyone.  This probably won't make any sense unless you know of him - Jesse Ventura, He does the same thing when he is being interviewed.. he is either straight as an arrow or his chair is ready to blast off .. he can't keep it still when he believes in something he is speaking of ~ or when he is being challenged in good faith.

 Thats my first response to todays hearing ! I'm totally in LOVE with Judge Perry. He allows for no courtroom drama and cracks his whip to keep things down to business. Perry doesn't seem to care for alot of talking , get to the point and keep it moving .  According to Perry status hearings will be every 45 days in the case. May  6, 10  and 11 we will be having hearings and motions.v Scheduled trial start date of May 9, 2011 was also agreed upon. Mason and Baez looked leashed, no outrageous facial expressions from either one, or continuous talking , though Baez did give it a try . When asked how long it will take the prosecution to explain their side at trial , ashton serves a bitch slap with 1 day

O the Anthonys are nervousing - Cindy showed her usual sarcasm & thinks she's clever...catch the smirk.  The Anthonys wouldnt know "respectable" if it bite them where the sun doesnt shine....beeotch please.   I actually think they are going home to cry in their cornflakes.   NO MORE CRAB CAKES FOR YOU!

I had doubts a change of venue with JS would be granted, now it appears that CHBP is inclined to pool the jury from other districts & keep it in Orlando...the defense wants to talk about cost, well that cuts both ways.

No motions were discussed today!  But the Judge is pretty good about asking the questions. Many questions were answered by of course Baez was giving his opinion and avoiding the questions, the Judge would repeat the questions.

The Judge asked about sequestering the Jury, of course the defense team was not sure of it!

9 May 2011 is still the trial date!  The Judge wanted it to be set earlier.  The earlier the better, I say!

May 9, 10, 11 2010 will be the hearings for the motions.  May 7, 2010 will be the hearing for the “give us the money” hearing!

Of course C&G were there, no chomping in the court room today, guess Cindy had a bad back as she couldn’t sit up straight, but could mouth to the brat kid she loved her.  I guess we all know she loves her……she has lied numerous times for the brat!

So when a jury is sequestered like that, for so long, are the alternatives sequestered as well? 

I don't understand the process of " Sequestering a Jury pool"  how would the courts " take on this" in order for it to be effective ?  Judge Perry mentioned demographics today .. I don't understand how a jury is Sequestered ??

Wkys enlighten me ?  I have received in the mail " Jury Duty" notice years ago but I was "not a fit within the criteria" .. to be a Juror.   

I have limited knowledge of it.  I could be wrong, this is the way I understand it...

A jury is given like a whole floor of rooms in a hotel, say the 8th floor or such.  Where they cannot just step outside or have unauthorized contact very easily.  Guards are stationed at the elevator/stairs, they are not allowed to go anywhere unescorted, no one else is allowed up.  They will be escorted to and from the courtroom.  That's it, they go nowhere else.  Their meals are brought in, they are not allowed TV, radio, magazines, computers, cell phones.  They can have CD music, approved movies and other activities like chess/checkers/cards/games/etc.  If allowed newspapers, all pertinent info to the case will be cut out first.  (holes in paper).  They are not allowed to have visits or make phone calls.  Seems this jury will be allowed to have phone calls with family on Sundays, but those will be recorded, and am sure they will be instructed not to talk about the case at all.  They have to stay in seclusion for the length of the trial, and the time it takes to decide the trial.  They aren't even supposed to talk about the case with each other until they are instructed by the judge to meet together and decide the case.  Supposedly if any juror deviates from any of this, they can be excused by the judge and an alternate brought in to replace.  An alternate will replace in the case of a juror having an emergency at home.  If they get homesick or hate being sequestered, it's basically tough luck. 

I just don't know if alternates are sequestered along with the main jury. 

Seems they would be, just in case they are needed to replace one of the others.  But then there will be another alternate added to the backup.  (there usually are two alternatives in the jury wings).  Am thinking that those two and all the would be alternates would have to be sequestered too, just in case needed.  Cuz otherwise, if they ever are needed, they would have spent a portion of the trial within contact with media and others etc.

Something clicked " OFF" with her when Judge Perry entered the room - to turn her into stone.
She was always one that had issues with Authority ..unfortunately I don't think she knows what Authority really means/meant until today.
Her reality was sweet,  quick and became painfully personal during these few short moments in the court this am ~ Priceless..

ITA - Casey does not seem to acknowledge " EVER " that she is the reason Why all parties are present ..she is so OUT there  - Yet she is not Mentally Ill - she is trained from day one by her own conditioning.  She can escape within a heart beat and fall into her dream world - Anyone that " could possibly be" IN JAIL all this time and Only think about  Boys, Toys, RV's and New BFF's ... Who does not acknowledge to anyone - let alone herself. That Caylee is was her Daughter and she is Dead.  she is not fooling anyone.
All her Letters show " She lives in Conscience World" its just not present - She is from the Date of June 16, 2008 - DREAMING about her NEW Life. She is that self indulgent that she is still Living the DREAM. And she believes in her tiny little Mind that Its still feasible.  Caylee or no Caylee she is on a mission. She is a cold, heartless, wrench of a Human Being. She even states in her letters - She is planning on Changing her Looks/hair/eye color with contacts/creating a new name - first and last. When she gets out - She wrote in her letters people will walk up to me and ask - " IS that Casey Anthony" And she said I will Laugh ..as I  keep on walking.  This B is not Crazy she is Sly as a Fox. I Loathe Her - as All do.

She acts like she is zoning out,but I think she is fantasizing about the evil she would like to perpetrate on anyone or thing that gets in her way.
She was nervous today,but if given the opportunity I think she would have peeled the skin off of a couple of faces.
Today was a wake up call,she's been put on notice.
It's not Casey's world,and if she fries for Caylee's murder it will be well deserved.IMO

Am thinking it will be the same process as choosing a regular jury, but will likely add to the questioning process if each person has the ability to remain sequestered for a period of time.  Some who absolutely cannot, due to whatever, won't even make the jury pool for this case.  Employers cannot fire someone due to their being on a jury for a lengthy trial.  But some folks could have different types of hardships (like health or family situ etc) that could allow them to opt out early on in the process.
