I agree with Rob.  No pills, no overdose.
I believe that Misty killed Haliegh intentionally

I have a hard time with the overdose theory in that if she did eat a pill, and bit into it, wouldn't her immediate reaction be to try to spit it out?  I would expect she may even make herself sick with the gagging and if she were being watched "at all" this wouldn't be a quiet incident.  If she were given the pill, crushed and put into a drink, she probably wouldn't finish it.  Perhaps she was taught to swallow a pill, but that's awful young and with her developmental delays, I'm not sure she would be able to do that at her age. (I have a family member with Turner's but she's younger than Haleigh)

I wonder if Jr ever mentioned if his sissy was sick that night. The only drug i can think of that would hit her so fast she wouldnt know she was sick is the date rape drug.

Why cinder blocks and rope which we know from LE - cinder blocks.  Why dispose of Haleigh in that manner.  Makes no sense to me.  Was the house the crime scene or was it somewhere else?

Yes, and even though I think it was drugs, either Haleigh got into them or Misty gave her some to sleep, I guess that I can see that if Misty was hung over and wanted to sleep, and Haleigh didn't, she could have hit her real hard in the head, maybe to shut her up.

Yes, I believe Tommy.  But a board?  This had to take place outside of the house and been pure rage JMO.  What would of caused that...nothing I can think of.

I find myself agreeing with grandma Flo

1.  Misty, Tommy, Joe did something with Haleigh.  They are guilty of murder and disposing of Haleigh's body
2.  Ronald is guilty of being a druggie and of leaving his daughter with a druggie (Misty).  In that respect he holds some blame for what happened to Haleigh while in Misty's care.  He may also be guilty of covering up certain things because of his drug activities.

IMO, Ron has always had a pretty good idea the who and what happened to Haleigh but wasn't 100% certain.  I think if he was 100% certain Misty, Tommy and Joe would all be dead already.

With a slight push I could be made to see how Ronald is as guilty of killing Haleigh as Misty is.

/well, I think this is a true statement.  Misty was coming off of a binge, didn't want to babysit, resented Haliegh, hit her hard enough to do some damage, but not leave any blood, ran with her to Tommy's, left Haleigh at the dumpster, went to Tommy's and the plan was in action to get rid of the body

I'm not absolutely stuck on the overdose theory, but have thought a lot about it because of all the drug use around her.  These were heavy drug users & I wonder if they would know how to give something to her in a way we might not can think of.   I don't know.

And of course I agree the possibility of physical abuse is also extremely high.  Misty, still high but yet exhausted, trying to care for 2 young children who don't want to go to bed.  That's aggravating to some even when you're not high or exhausted.

I think that the motive would be to shut her up.  Haliegh was 5 and I believe Misty made a comment about her wanting to watch a certain movie?  Misty had just had yet another fight on the phone with her huny bunny.  She was still strung out from the drugs, Haliegh is being a 5 year old, wanting it her way and Misty just blew her stack.

Misty had to lie to Ron, because she knew he would kill her.  Besides, Misty got everything that she wanted, didn't she?

Just to let you know, not that it matters, we are in agreement here with the exception of your last sentence klaas.

Mastermind or dumb as a box of rocks?   I'm here on the fence still.  I feel that if Ron has all that anger and rage he would of killed someone for Haleigh if he knew for sure.  Of course he is in jail maybe he'll put a hit out on someone.

Sounds like Art Harris' "source" played him like a cheap fiddle.   Monkey Devil!

Grandma needs to go watch Wheel of Fortune and get on with her life.  She's not helping anyone (especially herself).

And I don't think Misty was taken to the dock to point out anything.  I think that she had no idea why she was going there until she got on the dock.  Then she was asked questions by LE regarding Tommy's statements.

Hi there. Does a wet blanket fit into here somewhere?  I believe Misty mentioned it quite often. My understanding is that some parents/sitters/guardians get overly frustrated with young children going through this stage.

I agree on all counts.

I also do not believe the overdose theory.  Haleigh was too old to accidentally take pills/swallow a substance and too young to do it on purpose.  I don't for one minute believe Misty would give Haleigh a pill that Misty herself could have.
