PSCO is out of line in my opinion. I know there will be others that disagree and that's always fine. But hear me out here for a second.

They announce that a homicide was committed and the victim was a 5 year old. They made this astonishing leap after investigating the case as a missing person or possible abduction the entire time.

Should the citizens take extra precautions? Is there a serial predator on the loose? Is the person responsible to Haleigh's demise already locked up? These are reasonable questions and I would expect them to be asked of any LE agency.

Hardy got a huge pass the other day and one he likely won't see again. Which is why there will be few press conferences in the future. He could stand there and stonewall and not answer, but that's just fuels the fire and adds more to the dynamics.

It's entirely unreasonable to ask the press, bloggers and TV to back off. It's not going to happen and it's foolish to ask when you have done nothing to clarify any of the questions rightfully being asked.

Rob - I agree and I personal have no intentions of backing off.  I do agree that Art Harris and others that claim to have inside information about bones found should think twice before blogging.  This case in particular doesn't need any more sensationalism and exaggerations.

Klaas, ITA expressed a similar view.   There is a huge difference in speaking to what is before us, it is another to fabricate, exaggerate, sensationalize or flat out lie about facts that are not.

Where did I specify anyone in particular?  No,  what I always consider with measured contemplation is that there are many people that have gotten involved in this case (and others) that have indeed done one or all of the above to keep their names in the headline, faces on camera & hits on a blog.    It is quite evident in quite a few instances that certain individuals have personal agendas & that at times clouds the way information is shared.   If you look at one of my previous posts today, I made it quite clear that the public in general should not be silenced or that people shouldn't be on the ground for checks and balances because I'm equally aware that on occasion there are also disingenious things done by a small portion of law enforcement.   It is always a balance as to how involved those individuals should be & how their involvement could be more of a hindrance rather than assistance.  Also, this case is far too complicated as is, the less confusion the better because these people directly involved & related are enough to make a saint furious, frustrated & confused.    We all have the same priority in mind here, we want to find out what happened to Haleigh, arrest those responsible & bring this case to justice.    I just thought Id clarify...now Im off with my popcorn ready to watch NG's version of a senior WWE match.    I'll check in later, for those I miss have a pleasant evening.

this young husband, Mr Tehan, I have a lot of respect for him. His wife - not so much, but he has learned some great life lessons very early in life and they will suit him well.

He said something like - she's a person like everyone else, and trying to make her way in life.

Recognizing that - well, it takes most people a lifetime to get that message.

I have no idea if this marriage can make it, but I know from what he said he's a well grounded young man with a bright future and I wish him the best.

yes!  (NG synopsis comments)  In today's society, daddies are nice, but it's all on mommy.  Especially if the mommy holds down a full time job.  Post partum, don't give me that, I've been there!  Nancy's husband you should be on your best behavior tonight or find a good hiding spot.
