Has Hope been sent off to State Prison or is she still in the county jail?
I have not seen anything about that, but I would guess they would have.

In my state, TX, a person convicted will stay in the county jail until the State Department of Corrections gets all their paperwork done and then they will be transferred to a State facility.  That can take days to weeks, depending on the number of cases that have been tried and convictions won during that time period.

So it could take a little while before she is transferred to the prison, thanks.

Remember what Maya said during her interview with KB about the Casey case?  She said she would rather be in county jail serving her time then in the big house as the food and people were much better.  The big house is the pits (my word) according to her.

Have a question:  Was Ron actually seen handing pills or exchanging money in the "dope" deals?  Something just isn't sitting right here with Ron he rode in the car with Hope from court previously.  Thought that male and female prisoners didn't travel together?  Then he is in court today for what?  something is missing .....jmo

I still keep going back to the 911 calls earlier today and I know that was not Misty's voice, then mentioning drugs, Ron saying his gun is gone the door is bumped or whatever you call it.  Then they hang up when asking specific details, IE: what was Haleigh wearing, color of clothing? Then he gets back on the phone with the same whining crying jig he did on TV on his knees.

Then Tommy's lawyer on NG saying he wishes that they would make an arrest so everything would come out.

swear this is driving me crazy..

Oh yes, he counted out 100 pills in the U/C tapes, looked like he popped one in his mouth, talked about being able to get 50 more percocet, asked the U/C if he had any "powder" cause that's what he liked to get high and told the UC ih he wasn't able to "get rid" of the 200 pills he could make enough money in 2 weeks to eat them himself.

I wouldn't worry about this case driving you crazy as I truly believe anyone trying to figure it out passed crazy a long time ago
thank you the reason I was asking was is he an informent?  I do not think so but just asking.

I just don't see Misty, Tommy, or cousin Joe taking the time to give Haleigh a burial.  They'd have to find a shovel and actually break a sweat.  I can see them putting her body in a bag and throwing her in a dum pster.  If that is what happened, her remains will never be found.

As for the rope, blanket, bag rumor...I can see them trying to get rid of a blanket with dna evidence on it by putting it in a bag, tying a block on the bag with a rope and throwing it into water.  Even if they find the blanket, how much evidence might LE gain after all this time?

Last night, she was still listed in Putnam County jail. I was wondering where she will serve her sentence also.

So I guess we wait for Tommy to tell what happened that night? Or did he tell what happened that night, hence the search of the river?

I don't see any TRIAL date set for Tommy so far.  If he is gonna squeal on those involved in HaLeigh's case, then most likely working out a deal.  But Ron and Misty are due in court on May 13th.

No trial date for Tommy?  That's odd...considering Hope has had her trial and Ron's and Misty's trials are only a couple of weeks away.

ty for your help above w/culpable/not culpable.

Maybe Tommy is making the deal?

I have May 13, 1:30 PM set for Tommy's pre-trial hearing on my calendar.

I also have Ronald and Lisa Croslin on the same date.

I have Misty set on June 3.

Gathered these dates from news articles and added them to my calendar.

Hi Everyone,

About Ronald being in court for Hope's sentencing. According to Hope's docket the Def issued a Subpoena for him not the Prosecutor

2010-04-21   38   DEFENSE WITNESS SUBPOENA RETURNED SERVED:
2010-04-21   38   RONALD CUMMINGS

Guess Judge didn't want to hear anything he had to say.

Just saw Hank SR added to the calendar on May 13 as well.

So Tommy, and both of his parents are due on court on their charges on the same day.

My thoughts about the $250,000.00 fine.

If Hope ever tries to sell a story about this case (and I have no doubt someone will be there to listen, media I mean) State can get the money..smart move on the states part, however it might be part of law dunno.

Hope will have a lot of time to write and I am sure someone will be there to grab her story.  However, there should be a small print stating once sentence is served ... AND FINES PAID ... will they be released.

I hope the ST covered all its bases....high profile case, close family member etc.surely they did.

I believe it is the law. Goes along with the 15 year minimum sentence.
