Hi Monkeys. 

This may not be a popular opinion, but I don't have a problem with Hope's sentence.  It is a sad commentary on your parentage when you learn at age 18 that there really are consequences for your actions.  I don't have a clue what the correct answers may be, but when I look at these people I see multiple generations that have really crappy parents.      I'm sure Hope was just as innocent as HaLeigh at one time.  And just look at her now - a disrespectful, drug selling, stripper.   

  call me callous but I'm hoping she's in jail past her child-bearing years.  The cycle will likely never ever end with this family and those like it (croslins, etc.)

Instead, they laughed about it.

The judge could have given her more... but he didn`t.

Misty will be a grandma before she gets out... or she may never get out.

Just on the drugs ALONE.

Tommy and Misty will probably not be charged with HaLeigh's disappearance/demise but there were several POI.

Brown, the neighborhood resident said Haleigh’s babysitter, Misty Croslin, “used to live two blocks from here” with her parents.

According to google maps it is approximately 5 walking miles from 130 Magnolia to 140 Shell Harbour.

MC wouldn't walk Five miles unless T.C. picked her up to get rid or look for evidence.

Mr.Brown (investigator) said he found something the other Monday night around 9:00 pm. at that area.

So this makes me think MC and her garbage bag may have dumped items in the woods with TC.

I just don't see Misty, Tommy, or cousin Joe taking the time to give Haleigh a burial.  They'd have to find a shovel and actually break a sweat.  I can see them putting her body in a bag and throwing her in a dum pster.  If that is what happened, her remains will never be found.

As for the rope, blanket, bag rumor...I can see them trying to get rid of a blanket with dna evidence on it by putting it in a bag, tying a block on the bag with a rope and throwing it into water.  Even if they find the blanket, how much evidence might LE gain after all this time?

Can you see TN GGma Sykes or Ron ????  ie; the rose?

I don't believe that they had anything to do with Haleigh's disappearance or a coverup.

I am with you, numbersgirl, for what it's worth.

Hope had a prior possession charge just weeks before this trafficking charge. She knew she had to be on good behaviour and chose to sell drugs.

Life is about choices and living with the consequences of them.

Maybe when others in Florida take notice of these stern penalties for drug trafficking, they might (just might) reconsider their own behaviours.

I don't know for sure, but I believe she is NN's sister Kelly a juvi.
NN's mother loves on Tropic, in the area where Misty took the UC guy on 1/18.

In that police report they mention the street Topic/Tropic, I think is where they got the drugs from  (can't remember exact name) but that is/was where NayNay's mother lived (not sure if NayNay lived there), but I am sure Kelly did.
