I really wonder how many bodies this guy has left in his wake.  We'll probably never know, but I'll be there are more. . .

I totally agree.  I'm just surprised he was so violent, dumb enough to have hotel in his name, he knew there were cameras, etc....  He might as well tatoo, MURDERER on his head.  Too bad daddy wasn't around to help clean up this one.  That's probably why he got caught THIS time.
He must have forgot the great "No Body, No Case" advice his daddy gave him.

5 Years, To The Day...

And the night of gaming forecasts the deed.

Perhaps a trigger at the game table sparks the psychopathic urge within.  The wrong card at the wrong time.  A dead girl follows the dead girl, with the tragic likelihood of unknown dead girls in between.  A chance encounter, or fate?  Ms Ramirez, you deserved much better, so much better.

On the east coast of Australia and the Farillon Islands, documented anniversary killings by the savages of the sea are known facts; the great white shark returns on the date of previous attacks to kill again.

The goon is a wild beast that must be hunted down, and caged away from the world of civil men, women, boys and girls.

<snipped>

Once part of Bolivia, and Bolivia's access to the sea to export silver from the mines in Potosí, Arica became Chilean territory in the War of the Pacific, whose naval victories are celebrated annually as the Glorias Navales. Arica still functions as Bolivia's access to the sea, connected to Bolivia by train.

Now, Arica is a developing seaside resort, with golden sand dunes, miles of seashore, duty-free shopping and lively nightlife. Arica is also the gateway to inland ruins of ancient cultures, Lauca National Park with its many animal species including vicuña, alpaca, nandu and wild chinchilla, volcanos and the highest mountain lake in the world.

Getting There

•By air:
•Aereopuerto Chacalluta, north of the city, handles domestic flights from Santiago and other Chilean cities, plus international flights to and from Peru and Bolivia.

•By land:
•The PanAmerican Highway connects Arica to Peru and other Chilean cities.
•Bus service, either domestic, or international to and from Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina is available.
•Train service to Peru via Tacna, (see ENAFER Tacna - Arica/Chile line) and to La Paz, Bolivia is available. The train to La Paz offers limited seating, and it's best to make reservations the week ahead during the summer months.
•Taxis and car rental.

•By sea:
•In addition to being a commercial port, Arica is also a port-of-call for many cruise ships who offer day-trip excursions inland as well as city tours.
•Private sailboats and yachts berth at the marina.

They confirm that Dutchman Joran Van Der Sloot is still in Arica

Chilean police have orders to locate the suspected murderer of Stephany Flores, but you can not stop it because there is no court order.

"We have deployed our security devices primarily in the Region XV, as we have information that is still in the area," said Douglas Rodriguez this morning, police chief of the Arica-Parinacota region.

According to the official, are also coordinating with other regions, mainly as Iquique and Antofagasta adjacent to the Dutchman can not flee to other parts of the country and hide.

"Usual Suspect"

Quote
Mr van der Sloot is believed to have entered Peru on 14 May to play in a poker tournament.

He was questioned but never charged in the disappearance of Ms Holloway, an American student who went missing in Aruba five years ago this week.

Joe Tacopina, an attorney for Mr van der Sloot in New York, told AP that he had not been in touch with his client since the allegations were made in Peru and did not know his whereabouts.

"Joran van der Sloot has been falsely accused of murder once before," said Mr Tacopina.

"The fact is he wears a bull's-eye on his back now and he is a quote-unquote usual suspect when it comes to allegations of foul play."

Michael Jackson and Van Der Sloot Netherlands shared the same lawyer

The Netherlands citizen, Joran Van Der Sloot, chief suspect in the death of the young Stephany Flores shared his lawyer with the famous Michael Jackson, when young, being smaller, was a suspect in the disappearance of a young woman in Aruba.
Joseph Tacopina blameless let the 'King of Pop "in the controversial case of child abuse, where after a media trial, the district attorney of Santa Barbara dropped all charges against the late singer.

Van Der Sloot is the main suspect in the murder of the young Peruvian unveiled as the head of the Criminal Investigation Department, Cesar Guardia.

"We have footage and witness statements that were entering the Netherlands with the victim to the hotel," the official added.

On the other hand, the brothers said they received Aparcana Pisconte 1500 soles of the Dutchman to transport Nazca to Tacna and then another 280 soles to bring it to the Chilean city of Arica.

We heard on NG show last night the Joran and Stephany left the casino and went to her car and sat in it for 37 minutes before the car left the parking lot.

I read somewhere this morning that a friend of Stephany's said she would never go off with someone she had just met and that Stephany was very concious about not doing that.

We read that date-rape drug wrappers were found in Stephany's car.

Now...if Joran walked her to her car, got in to talk a few minutes, they had a drink...which he drugged...and he waited for the drug to take effect...wouldn't that take about 37 minutes?  Then Joran could drive the car away and take Stephany into the room.  She was drugged...that's why she went with a guy she just met IMO.

Joran van der Sloot Netherlands already has an international arrest warrant
The alleged murderer of Stephany Flores, who would be hidden in Arica, could be arrested in the coming hours. Peruvian police also sent a warning to Argentina

Dirincri chief Cesar Guardia, said a moment ago the Dutchman Joran van der Sloot and has an international arrest warrant. As is known, the subject fled to Arica (Chile), the last Monday after the death of the young Stephany Flores, who had killed a day earlier in a Miraflores hotel.

After being alerted by the Peruvian police, the Chilean authorities began a major deployment to the whereabouts of Joran van der Sloot. Quoted by AFP, the U.S. authorities indicated that the Dutchman could not leave Arica and thus reinforced the police search of the Arica-Parinacota region.

However, the region's police chief, Douglas Rodriguez, had warned that Van Der Sloot was not going to be arrested "because there is no international legal requirement, nor at the country level." This situation has changed now thanks to the efforts of the Peruvian police. His capture could occur within hours.

ALERT ARGENTINA
The interior minister, Octavio Salazar, reported this morning that police were alerted to Argentina also possible possible flight to that country.

"I would not go into details because this person can be informed about the actions we are taking (...) we have all made coordination with the Ministers of Interior of Chile and Argentina because it is easy to spend the best from Chile to Argentina" he said.

Hi Monkeys!

Peeking in from work, but know there are lots of monkeys here that I haven't seen in a while. I didn't want to miss the chance to give everyone a hug!  HUGS!!!

I know Joran's not in Kansas/Aruba anymore, but I'll breath easier when he's caught to shut down any remote possibility that he'll get away this time! We should start a poll. My guess is that by days end, they'll have him!

Hammer!  Great to see you!

I'm torn.  In some ways I wish he'd just kill himself but that seems too easy.  I do believe a Peru prison will be far more punishment for him than death.

Love Hammer's post, and I too am torn. I wish Joran would just die so noone would ever have to worry again, but I want him to suffer, REALLY SUFFER, for the rest of his pathetic life! He is a psycopath, just like Casey, so I don't believe he would ever take his own life; he loves himself too much! he's only interested in taking other lives. jmo

He said he killed her because he wanted media attention.

Thanks caesu
