Interpol Peru: "Chances are that Chile expels Van der Sloot"


Manuel Malaver, head of the International Police in Lima, said staff placed in Tacna to apprehend an alleged murderer.

After the arrest of Joran van der Sloot in Chile, the International Police chief in Peru, Manuel Malaver said the possibility exists that the citizens Netherlands is "expelled from Chile", which would facilitate his arrival in Lima to answer the murder of the young Sthepany Flores.

"We are coordinating so that in case of expulsion, have personnel on the border in Tacna or the airport to stop him and make it available to the judicial authority," he said.

Expulsion is an expedient alternative to extradition, which lasted two months on average. The order issued for the capture of Van der Sloot has not come to Chile, so the man, who has a history of other crimes, yet can not be deported.

In this regard, the Chilean police spokesman, Alfredo Espinoza said the Dutchman may be expelled from the country even if the order is not received from Interpol. "We're hoping that will have a national police of Peru, in order to know what will be the situation. It is likely that there is a push "to Peru.

Being accused of manslaughter in the Peruvian justice, the case against Van der Sloot could last two to three years, because in our judicial system that absence follows the normal procedure.

Joran makes confession to poker-buddy

AMSTERDAM - In all likelihood, Joran van der Sloot has admitted to be guilty of killing 21 year old Stephany Tatiana Flores Ramirez in a hotel room last Sunday.

Thus several sources in Joran's circle of friends report. Van der Sloot reportedly had contact with a poker buddy last Tuesday, to whom Joran is said to have confessed to have done 'something awful'.

Motive for the murder on Stephany would have been Jorans pathological need for media-attention, supposedly. The girl was stabbed and murdered last Sunday in Lima and later found in a hotel room. That room was registered to Joran. Last Sunday, it was five years exactly after Natalee Holloway's dissappearance on Aruba.

Joran is also said to have been in contact with Jaap Amesz (Terror Jaap) several weeks ago. At that time he remained in Venezuela. "I was told Joran felt pretty strung out at that point. He told Jaap he was walking around with plans to kill himself", an insider reports.

Joran is also said to be in dire straits financially as a result of losing a lot of money over gambling.

Jaap Amesz himself doesn't want to enter into details about his alleged recent telephone contact with Joran. "I don't want to jeoperdise the police investigation."

I hope the surveillance cameras show that Joran's hair was dark, and longer, than at the time he was captured. (Certainly not red.) Would just be another chink in the wall of evidence, but every little bit helps.

There are still so many things that can go wrong, until they get him back in Peru and in custody. However, I suspect Mr. Flores is covering all the angles. He seems like that kind of guy.

I think it only looks reddish in the video.  His head was shaved when his father died.  He's often through the years shaved his head during summer time.

Hi 3rd!

He's not cuffed because he hasn't been arrested yet.  They don't want to arrest him because it will be easier to hand him over to the Peruvian authorities if he's not actually arrested.  He is captured and will be handed over to the Peruvian authorities.

He was definitely ting to change his appearance, He should have broken his nose or something.

That is really bothering me too.

I keep thinking of Hans Mos and how we believed in him.
Then the Peter de Vries tapes that we were sure would get Joran arrested
Then there was the Persistence Search and even Caps.

I am very afraid to get too excited until I see him in a Peruvian prison coonvicted of murder.

Maybe they want him to TRY to run so they have an excuse to beat the crap out of him!
