PDI confirmed Dutchman accused of murder in Peru into Chile

Civilian police said Joran van de Sloot came last May 31 by the passage of Chacalluta.

Police sources indicated that an intensive search is made in the north of the country.

The PDI confirmed that the citizen Joran Van Der Sloot Netherlands on suspicion of murder in Peru, Chile joined last May 31 at the border of Chacalluta.

Civilian police said an intensive search is carried out to find her whereabouts, responding to a request from Interpol in the north of the country for delivery to the judicial authorities of the neighboring country.

"The past 31 days Chacalluta joined by the Dutchman citizen Joran Van Der Sloot. We sought whereabouts information for location, there is a police operation in the region, are coordinated to see if we can find her whereabouts," said the prefect inspector Douglas Rodriguez .

Chile Lima alerted the flight of the 23-year-old who is accused of the death of Stephany Ramirez Flores, daughter of the businessman and racer Ricardo Flores.

Death penalty in Peru????? Many countries won't extradite perps who may be subject to the death penalty.  In any case, Peru just HAS to be tougher on murderers than The Netherlands or Aruba!

Klaas,
If Joran is using a laptop could he be traced by the authorities hunting him?

I was looking today. It appears that Peru doesn`t have the death penalty.

...but their prisons are so rough... you`ll wish you did.

I really wonder how many bodies this guy has left in his wake.  We'll probably never know, but I'll be there are more. . .

I totally agree.  I'm just surprised he was so violent, dumb enough to have hotel in his name, he knew there were cameras, etc....  He might as well tatoo, MURDERER on his head.  Too bad daddy wasn't around to help clean up this one.  That's probably why he got caught THIS time.

was nataly killed around this time years ago?
yes cecilita.  May 30/10 was Natalee's five year anniversary.
I tried to respond to your post on the last thread but technical problems.
You said  you were going to contact your family in Peru.  Any idea how long an extradition might take place?
Also with regard to your comment about Joran being seen with possible bloody clothing...I think he would have showered and put on clean clothes before he left the hotel room. jmo

Sad a lovely young girl has lost her life.  Condolences offered to her family and those that loved her.  R. I. P Stefany.
If he is back to Peru he will not go anywhere...that I dont know is if he was in the casino hotel or he was in a different hotel....i know that casino very well and you know what that casino is few blocks from the beach

Joran was in a hotel about 50 blocks from the casino as I understand it.
There is a picture of the hotel on the last thread.
There are several hotels around the casino..... do they have the name of the hotel?
He was 50 blocks away from the casino at the hotel TAK or something like that.  There are photos of it in the news articles.
Frijole, I dont know that hotel. I thought that she was killed in the atlantis......the hotel can be located in Miraflores (a cheap one)

I think maybe he's not too bright, but very very arrogant.

Thats what I have been reading.  Very bad conditions.  Also prisoners are known to kill people like him within a few days.  Pity.  lol.
