if what Jaap says is the truth, Joran only has the $5000 he stole (i think) from Stephany.

This puts him in a much worse situation - no one to help him.

He won't get far.  I just hope that they catch him alive before he runs out of money again.  He'll kill for more.

The ABC reporter John Quinones and his team arrived in Lima and is in the house of the victim Peruvian Chacarilla, where the funeral takes place.

He recalled that the disappearance of Natalee Holloway has caused consternation in American society, as was unresolved.

He hoped that the Peruvian authorities locate the person responsible for the death of Stephany Flores, and then determine their relationship with the other case.

It was initially reported that Stephany was stabbed to death, and that turned into a pool of blood and splattered blood all over the walls ~ when in the end, there was no blood at all. In no way do I disregard her murder, God bless this young woman, may she rest in peace and sincere condolences for her family and friends. Someone on Nancy Grace said that Joran will be caught because he doesn't speak the language in South America.... Just shows you the ignorance of the American Media. They make it up as they go along.

Actually it show AGAIN the ignorance of Julia Renfro aka Glenda!  Stephany's blood is on Renfro's hands as well.  She's a useless waste of air.

Van der Sloot made use of two taxis in the Chilean Arica place to come, which is 18 kilometers from the border with Peru seeking. That reported the Peruvian newspaper El Comercio. This is a journey of over 1300 km.

We heard on NG show last night the Joran and Stephany left the casino and went to her car and sat in it for 37 minutes before the car left the parking lot.

I read somewhere this morning that a friend of Stephany's said she would never go off with someone she had just met and that Stephany was very concious about not doing that.

We read that date-rape drug wrappers were found in Stephany's car.

Now...if Joran walked her to her car, got in to talk a few minutes, they had a drink...which he drugged...and he waited for the drug to take effect...wouldn't that take about 37 minutes?  Then Joran could drive the car away and take Stephany into the room.  She was drugged...that's why she went with a guy she just met IMO.

Puzzler, IIRC when I researched GHB 5 years ago, it takes approx 15 - 20 mins to take effect.

Good morning fellow Monkeys :}

This is the first time I have posted in this thread but I have read here frequently. I think it makes sense that Killem and Den Scoot is heading as fast as he can to Suriname to confess to the murder of Natalee Holloway. It would be a great deal more pleasant serving time in an Aruban/Dutch prison than it would be in Peru where the conditions are horrific in comparison. If he reaches Suriname I can imagine he will be extradited to his homeland expeditiously. Of course he could always fall on his sword and save us all the trouble, we can but hope. After serving a short time in an Aruba/Dutch prison he would probably be released and I don't see the Aruban/Dutch authorities making much of a move to authorize extradition to Chile.

I hope they catch him before he gets to a place of sanctuary and send him post haste right back to Chile where he will suffer for the rest of his miserable life.
