As you know doubt know, I have been making calls to Aruba to find out what people know about the latest Joran van der Sloot news.

I have learned - and this is rather curious - that Holloway family lawyer John Q. Kelly has been spotted twice in the last 30 days in Aruba.

His presence (twice in the last 30 days) in Aruba is notable and peculiar since the Aruban authorities have said they have shut down the Natalee investigation and yesterday made a statement that they have nothing to do with this latest Peru investigation for murder.

Also, Greta is placing the blame for Stephany's murder on the FBI for not arresting Joran on May 10th.  She just gets on my nerves.

I, William K. Bryan, the undersigned complainant, being duly sworn, state the following is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief: Count One

That on or about May 10, 20lO, the defendant, Joran van der Sloot, did obstruct, delay, and affect commerce and the movement of any article or commodity in commerce, by extortion and attempts to do so, in that, the defendant did knowingly and wilfully cause another person to wire transfer a partial payment of money ($15,000) from a financial institution in Birmingham, Alabama, to a financial institution in the Netherlands, after representing to the other person that he would provide the location ofNata lee Holloway's remains in Aruba and information regarding the circumstances of her death, upon receipt of $250,000 from the other person, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1951(a).

That on or about May 10, 20 lO, the defendant, Joran van der Sioot, having devised or intending to devise any scheme and artifice to defraud, or for obtaining money or property by means of false or fraudulent pretenses, representations, or promises, did knowingly and with intent to defraud did knowingly and wilfully cause to be transmitted by means of wire communication in interstate and foreign commerce, any writings, signs, signals, pictures, or sounds, that being, a wire transfer in the amount of $15,000, from Birmingham, Alabama, to the Netherlands for the purpose of executing and attempting to execute such scheme and artifice, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1343.

I further state that I am a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau ofInvestigation, and that this complaint is based on the facts set forth in the affidavit, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Extortion & Wire Fraud

By accepting the $15,000, the goon has put himself in even deeper water.  People go to jail for this.  And unsaid in the complaint is the galringly obvious fact that it is illegal to knowingly withold evidence in a criminal case.  And quite clearly, the goon has "evidence" about the remains of Natalee.  

Quite possible, based on the details of the claim, that Natalee remains hidden on the island, instead of set adrift in the sea.  How else could he provide credible positioning the dear girl's remains?  For $250K, loran readings don't cut it.

A capital crime in one jurisdiction; extortion and fraud in another jurisdiction with extradition treaties in play.  And Interpol.

This has been a bad 24 hours for Mr. Tacopina and Aruba.

A U.S. prosecutor in Alabama alleges Joran van der Sloot for extortion. The Dutchman was at a friend of Natalee Holloway said that he has information about the missing American from Alabama.

Joran would be in exchange for $ 250,000 to say where her body is and how five years ago to be killed.

Holloway disappeared in Aruba in 2005 after a night out. She would have gone along with Joran, after which she disappeared. Van der Sloot has several statements made about his role, but later spoke again.

And there it is, a high probability working theory which explains the anniversary killing method.  With the background of a failed financial dealing to boot.  Excellent, klaasend.

This may indeed be it.  That makes the Alabama DA release of the complaint the help the Peruvian court will need to nail him, as it provides motive, in the event the goon did not resort to his usual sexual deviancy, or a more obvious motive to kill Stefany.  

But as we know too, the confrontations between the goon and Natalee's mother were direct and inciscive.  She KNEW he killed her daughter and he couldn't get over with her.  Could that drive "spite" -- add in the money, and it's a pretty complete picture.

Evil stuff.

Van der Sloot accused of extortion in Holloway case

Joran van der Sloot gets deeper into trouble. Not only was he arrested for the murder of a Peruvian woman, he is now accused of extortion in the Natalee Holloway case.

Van der Sloot would have $ 250,000 in exchange for details about the data since 2005, missing Natalee Holloway. She disappeared five years ago on the island of Aruba. Joran was the last person has seen it.


Who exactly he wanted to close the deal is unknown. It would be someone from the same city (Birmingham, Alabama) where Holloway lived.

Suspect
The 22-year-old Dutchman has twice been arrested in this case and he is still suspicious, but Holloway is still a trace.


Meanwhile, Van der Sloot embroiled in a Peruvian murder. He is suspected the 21-year-old Stephany Flores to have beaten to death.

He was arrested Thursday in Chile, where he went fled.
