they were saying that Stephany is/was an openly gay/lesbian woman and that there is no way that she would have gone willingly to a hotel room with this man or any man..So, they were saying, did he force her to go to the room with him? is there any video of them going to the room together, was she leaning up against him..etc...and she was fully clothed so probably no sexual assault, I have heard from other sources...
sorry if this has already been discussed before now...I have had a heck of a time trying to post and staying in the cage!

Joran accused of extorting Beth Holloway

BIRMINGHAM (AP) - Authorities in Alabama have Joran van der Sloot in Thursday indicted for extortion. He would have offered for $ 250,000 (roughly EUR 200,000) the location of the body of American Natalee Holloway to disclose to her mother Beth. This U.S. media reported.

According to the indictment would Joran last month a portion of the amount received on his account. Holloway disappeared on May 30, 2005 in Aruba. Joran is the prime suspect in the case. The 22-year-old Dutchman is also suspected of the murder of Stephany Flores in Peru Sunday. Van der Sloot was arrested Thursday in Chile.

Commenting on the recent developments Beth Holloway explains her intimate involvement with the family of Stephany. The statement also let them know they pray for quick justice and right.

I thought what I heard him say was that she did have an eye missing...I believe that they went to a commercial and when NG asked him about it, then he said that he didn't want to go into details...but from what I heard, he most definitely did say that...

I sincerely hope that the person(s) who sent him the money don't spend the rest of their lives blaming themselves for Stephany's death.  That guilt lies with Joran, his family, and those in Aruba that helped cover up Natalie's murder.

Did they ever offer an explanation as to why they were painting the rocks?

I think they said it is what they do when someone was brutally murdered and left blood and body parts that dried up on the rocks, but it wasn't Natalee b/c she ran away to S.Am. and Beth collected insurance $.
Then they said what rocks.
Then what paint.
Then it was a young Columbian boy that was ashore into the rocks and had been dead for 3 yrs.
It was dog blood.

Telling hotel staff not to clean the room and leaving a Do Not Disturb sign on the door bought him time...the beating was pure rage.
