Bryan, states that “the defendant [Van Der Sloot] did knowingly and wilfully cause another person to wire transfer a partial payment of money ($15,000) from a financial institution in Birmingham, Alabama, to a financial institution in the Netherlands, after representing to the other person that he would provide the location of Natalee Holloway's remains in Aruba and information regarding the circumstances of her death, upon receipt of $250,000 from the other person…”

Why did Joran enter Peru from Columbia?  Do we have any idea?

I was putting this map together when I found out he was captured (some talk about hoping he didn't get to Suriname).  I believe he flew from Aruba to Colombia because it's one of the stops along the way.  Aruba to Colombia to Lima Peru.

It looks like he is heading close and closer to the water. I wonder if he has convinced himself that he can walk on water.

Van der Sloot Friday off Chile

SANTIAGO - Joran van der Sloot will be released Friday on the border with Chile, Peru, the Peruvian authorities that arrested him. To this end, the Chilean government decided, according to Chilean newspaper El Mercurio.

The eviction was the newspaper a coordinated action between Chile and Peru. Joran van der Sloot (22) is suspected Peruvian Stephany Flores (21) in his hotel room in the Peruvian capital Lima to the murder. He then went from Lima to Chile, ostensibly on the run, and was yesterday between the Chilean capital Santiago and the coastal resort of Viña del Mar held.

I am really sad to read comments of peruvians, specially men that blame her to go with him to a Hotel.

Authorities said that Joran and Stephany left the casino and went to her car and sat in it for 37 minutes before the car left the parking lot.  Date-rape drug wrappers were found in her car.  IMO, Joran drugged her in the car and sat there...waiting on the drug to take effect.  She was taken away under influence of drugs...she didn't willingly go with Joran.

Yes, that would be good. Maybe once Joran is locked up for good they will be able to tell what really happened that night. Of course, they still have to live in Aruba where a whole lot of people are going to be shown up as guilty. Maybe they should move to L.A. Instead of a lawsuit they could get a movie/book deal. Once Joran is locked up for good, that is.

Greta is a lawyer. Her logic is flawed. If Joran hadn't been born, there would have been no murder. Why would Joran going to SA have to do with this ? Did something in SA cause the murder of this girl ?  No, it was Joran that caused the murder.

Maybe it was just Joran flipping out again that caused this. Maybe a robbery was the after thought.

FBI set up a sting because urine contacted Beth to make money again off of what he did to Natalee....
FBI at the most could have requested aruba to assist in determining if there was grounds to immediately apprehend urine (been tried before and we all know how that worked out). Lets say FBI wanted to watch urine in Peru......more red tape and wouldn't have happened anytime soon....
What I don't get is greta spin on this pointing at FBI....what's in it for her? I noticed greta hasn't gotten exclusives with Beth, Dave, Jug.........
