Richard Shelby, a Republican Senator who had previously opposed the reform plans as they stood, appeared on NBC's Meet The Press yesterday to say he was working to settle some of the fine print, but was likely to support a bill. "We've got to end the casino atmosphere on Wall Street, where they're gambling on synthetic ideas with somebody else's money, putting whole banking system at risk and producing nothing."

I haven't seen anything that suggests the reform bill will end the great bank casino.  They broke the house and generations will be in perpetual debt.

Obama continues to spend, and the debt burden may be perpetual.

Christopher Dodd, chair of the Senate banking committee and author of the reform bill, urged quick action. "Here we are 17 months after someone broke into our house and robbed us... and we still haven't even changed the locks."

Washington is still robbing us.

Look at expenses in the ER.  Obamacare does nothing to stop medical theft/tourism in the ER?  Does it deport those here legally or illegally when they use services and do not pay?

Obamacare legislates massive new taxes on generations, runaway spending and out of control escalation of medical expenses, and less coverage for folks that spent a lifetime paying into the system.

I think changing the locks means cleaning out Washington and putting folks that are for Americans into office.  No more anti-Americanism in Washington!

When Al Gore's friends got caught tresspassing in North Korea, they got sentenced to hard labor.  When folks trespass in America, they abuse the healthcare system, care insurance, welfare, and the hospitality of a great nation.

Did Gore's friends get a free ride with all the bells and whistles?  Or, were they expected to pay for their crimes?'

my opinions.
