Since it is a bit slow in here, My sister planned this trip to Mexico for months. She didn't wanna go, because our Mom went in the hospital Wednesday. My Mom's surgery went pretty well, she is still in Critical care, but is progressing well. I told my sister to go. I told her I would visit Mom and all. I just didn't think it was fair for her to cancel. She can't really do much where she is right now anyways, and will be back in a week.

Hi Elaine - glad your mother is improving.  Your sister will be nice and refreshed after her holiday to help with mother when she returns home.  That is the time when you need help, not so much when they are in hospital.   Hugs and prayers for you and your mother.

Hello monkeys - quiet in here today.  I missed Lala's and Jerry dancing.
I have been reading on front page - gee what makes those two wonder boys think they are worth 10 million dollars?  I suppose they had such stellar careers ahead of them.  They are living in a dream world and we hope to see their bubbles burst and they end up paying for their deception and Natalee's family get the answers they seek.

I've always thought the reference to gold bricks meant wealthy, as in gold bricks like those stored at Ft Knox.

where on Aruba would there be a straight path?  Most of the roads seem to wind about especially those out of the main tourist area.

Our cricketers are going to the Carribbean for the World Cup - maybe I could ask them to drop in on Aruba and give a few people a smack around the head with a cricket bat?

I would tend to think more along the lines of LVR. ( Have I said this before?) You have to remember back to the begining one thing that was known early on was that the PIMPS liked to have parties. Freddie liked to film at parties(he was arrested in 8/2005 for that-or picture taking). Why would someone protect their property with razor wire and guards? Did the younger PIMPS learn the drugging, picking up of tourists, and possibly raping from an older generation of PIMPS?

Yes I believe they learned from the old PIMPS.  I would call Freddy's brother Ernesto an older PIMP.  Freddy learned very well from his brother.

2. Someone who is so politically connected they would need security in fear of kidnapping or murder.  Who in Aruba ranks that high or has a son around the age of Lorenzo.

You are exactly right San about   Ernesto IMO. I think there is something about that party lifestyle of giggolo/ pimp/ whatever......that then permantly attracts those guys to staying in that lifestyles, hence Ernesto's
alleged life of modeling/nightclubs etc.,

I'll go further out on a limb and speculate/ wonder about the alleged suicide of LVR's dad, the VW dealer. We have seen alot of strange goings-on over the last 2 years in aruba. I wonder if he actually hung himself? or was he helped?

BB: I agree. For the fact the word RAVE was mentioned; it most likely is LVR's house. GVC also lives "up a straight road"; but, I don't see "rave" with it. M. Posner may also have a second home live up on a hill.

IMO..It's just the same as the Mafia...All these behaviors are being passed down generation to generation.  Even Joran had a pic of a baby title "Lil Pimp"

IMO There MAY have been alot of filming done at these parties...i.e. Ammunition against the elder pimps.

Just here for a few. Elaine if you are still here prayers for your Mom.

Ok , maybe this is crazy thinking. We know LVR is sort of reclusive. Supposedly has armed guards and barbed wire. The rumor has it that his father committed suicide and he went sort of loco after that.

What if it were the same kind of supposed suicides that we have followed on Aruba? Maybe all the security is for himself to be protected from ALE. Just a thought.

Florida , I am not so sure of MP's direct involvement . I think other than owner of the casino, and general knowledge of the illegal activities both by the PIMPS and JVDS imparticular, ie underage gambling drinking and IMO heavy duty /paid money laundering, I don't at this time think he was involved
or had anything to do with Natalee's disappearance.

I think his general Mafia including russian Mafia connection, along with crime history and questions like-how did posner get a liscense for a casino when he is a convicted felon? ....made him really really nervous. Then there is the involvement of one of his coupiers- Guido.
