Just swung through some of the other references but who knows how reliable they were.  Was some talk of LVR using the name Wever at times.  Also pictures on arubansecrets blogspot where they think LVR was really this Jaime character (or the other way around) - dyed hair, contacts etc.  Hard to transform a anglo saxon looking guy into a columbian but anything could happen with that mixed up lot  in the Aruban triangle.

Well it kinda was, it was their front.They  could go in and order a meal, hang out....I didn't know what other type of business to call it.

Why am I not surprised.  Suppose when they ask visitors  : "Why are you here?  How much money you got?"  they also ask "How well do you lie?"

Tib where were you back in the days this all started. We might understand it by now!  
I think along the same lines. FBI were certainly in there monitoring sloots/v rijn / _________ .  Thwe Arubans probably were ready to give someone as a token.  They tried out Croes, turned him down. I think his father? some relative is/was ALE.
