Senator Caught Viewing Porn During Legislative Session

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- A Florida state senator is in some hot water after a video camera caught him looking at pornographic material on his state-issued computer during a legislative session.

The video showed Senator Mike Bennett of Bradenton looking at the pictures of partially-naked women on his computer.

Bennett defended his actions, saying he was looking at an e-mail sent to him by a former court administrator.

Bennett said he clicked away from the image as soon as he realized what they were.  (yeah right, lol )

I can't imagine anyone wanting to view porn in a public setting!

Obviously this is someone on the public payroll with not nearly enough to do.  Fire him.

A check of the video can tell if he did, in fact, close the email asap or if he was looking for pleasure.  I just don't see someone being that stupid.  His computer can also be checked to see how often the email was opened.

I kind of wonder if he was set up.  If he was in the habit of looking at email during sessions, someone could've sent him the email knowing he would be captured on video.  Bad press for the guy if he's innocent.
