Unless you can state a relationship to the Cummings or Croslin group or some reason to think they are associated with the Haleigh Cummings case, PLEASE DON'T POST EVERY DRUG ARREST or other ARREST just because it happened.  It must have a connection to the case.

Sorry Klaas, This was the first time I posted an arrest that maybe be involved. I remember Hardy stated the whole world is a suspect.The arrest I thought was just a maybe as he is a drug dealer, lived in the area, a person by the name of Tresha Wright who lived next door who suddenly left and  according to veromi 1 roomate of Randy one was a Tiffany Wright maybe related to Tresha , a  POS who sexually offend a child under the age of 12 and another. Just trying to look at all angles..

Hi there JG, I see that Terry Shau French was arrested again today, but has posted bond.
If you remember the French's lives/ed on the same block of Betsy Ross as Snodgrass.

I don't know if true or not but it has been said that the French boys were friendly or friends with Misty & perhaps Ron.  Also there is a record in the Putnam County Clerk's site that A 50 something year old female w/last name of French assaulted another female w/ the last name of Whitmore.

A Whitemore, and perhaps not the same person (different first names) was a witness for Hope Sykes in her sentencing.

I wonder if the areas around the French's has been searched, even the detail shop on Hwy 17 or St. Johns Ave.

There is also a French listed on Horse Shoe Landing.

Interesting research if nothing else.

Croslin back in Putnam custody-Sentencing on drug charges set for July 6

The brother of the woman called the key to solving the Haleigh Cummings disappearance is back in the Putnam County Jail.

Hank �Tommy� Croslin Jr. has been held in the St. Johns County Jail in St. Augustine since he and four others were arrested on drug charges earlier this year. He was brought back to Putnam County on Wednesday night.

He pleaded no contest three weeks ago to trafficking in hydrocodone.

St. Johns County was holding Croslin at the request of Putnam Sheriff Jeff Hardy so he would not be with others jailed in the case held in custody in Palatka.

�Now that he has pleaded and is scheduled to be sentenced soon, it�s my decision that it�s appropriate to bring him back to this jail,� Hardy said.

Croslin is slated to be sentenced in Putnam County Circuit Court on July 6, said sheriff�s office spokesman Lt. Johnny Greenwood.

Croslin is the older brother of Misty Croslin, who was babysitting Haleigh Cummings when the child vanished in February 2909.

Both Croslins were arrested in January after an undercover investigation into illegal sales of prescription painkillers. Others jailed after the probe include Haleigh�s father, Ronald Cummings, his cousin Hope Sykes and Donna Brock, an Orlando woman who had befriended Misty Croslin.
Putnam investigators, frustrated with what they described as Misty Croslin�s inconsistent accounts of what happened the night Haleigh disappeared, have said she had information that could solve the case.

Sheriff Hardy said recently that authorities believe Haleigh is dead and that she was killed.

The latest search for Haleigh�s body or clues to her disappearance was in April in South Putnam County.

Teams of divers accompanied by local, state and federal authorities converged on the Shell Harbour boat ramp to the St. Johns River off County Road 309 � a neighbor where the Croslins used to live.

The three-day search ended April 15.

Last Monday, the sheriff�s office confirmed a human bone found during the search of the river bottom was determined to be from a Native American and was too old and large to be Haleigh.

�Uncovering bones belonging to Native Americans is not uncommon in this area due to the large number that once settled here,� Greenwood said in a statement.

Greenwood also said the Haleigh case was still an active investigation.

�Specific information regarding items recovered during searches, or the details of forensic examinations, cannot be discussed at this time,� he said.

Haleigh was reported missing at 3:27 a.m. on Feb. 10, 2009.
No trace of the blond-haired 5-year-old has been found, despite massive searches by law enforcement officers and volunteers. Haleigh�s disappearance initially was termed a child-abduction case.

Then 17-year-old Misty Croslin was dating Haleigh's father, Ronald Cummings, and was babysitting Haleigh the night she went missing.

Croslin, now 18, told deputies she put Haleigh to bed just after 8 p.m. and went to bed herself a couple hours later. Croslin said she awoke around 3 a.m. to use the restroom when she noticed the kitchen light on, the door propped open with a cinder block and Haleigh gone.

Haleigh's father, 26-year-old Ronald Cummings, was returning from his night-shift job at PDM Bridge in Palatka when the child was reported missing.

A month later, Croslin and Cummings married at his grandmother's house in Welaka. They divorced seven months later.

Hank "Tommy" Croslin Jr., 23, has been transferred from the St. Johns County jail to the jail in Palatka to await sentencing in a drug case.

Misty Croslin is a key figure in the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings. Haleigh disappeared from her father's rural Putnam County home in February 2009 while being cared for by Misty Croslin.

The Croslins were arrested in January following an undercover drug investigation by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Tommy Croslin pleaded no contest to a drug trafficking charge and an unrelated drug possession case several weeks ago. He is scheduled to be sentenced in those cases on July 6.

In a statement issued Thursday morning, Putnam County Sheriff's spokesman Lt. Johny Greenwood said that although the crimes committed by Croslin took place in Putnam County, "Croslin was originally housed at the St. Johns County Jail as a courtesy from Sheriff David Shoar in order to help keep the co-defendants in the cases separated. Sheriff (Jeff) Hardy determined that it is appropriate at this time to return Croslin to the Putnam County Jail to await his sentencing."

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. --  Action News has confirmed that Hank "Tommy" Croslin has been transferred from the St. Johns County jail to a facility in Putnam County.

According to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, Croslin was being held in St. Johns as a "courtesy" in order to keep him separated from co-defendants in his drug trafficking case.

Croslin pled Nolo Contendere to Hydrocodone trafficking charges in early June.  He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 6th.

Hank Thomas Croslin Jr. has been moved from the St. Johns County Jail to the Putnam County Jail and will remain there until his sentencing, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said.

Croslin Jr. was held in St. Johns County as a courtesy to keep the co-defendants in the case separated, the report said.

Croslin Jr. plead no contest to trafficking hydrocodone in Putnam County in June 3. He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 6. He will wait for his sentencing in the Putnam County Jail, the report said.

Croslin Jr. is the brother of Misty Croslin - the last known person to see Haleigh Cummings before she disappeared.

Haleigh Cummings Update: Tommy Croslin Moved Back To Putnam County

This really amazes me. I know the police are leaning on Misty and her brother for information on what happened to Haleigh but I honestly can’t help but wonder if Misty, Ronald and Tommy are really smart enough or experienced enough to plan out a story that could cover up any wrong doings on their part involving Haleigh for this long. Sorry but I am just not buying it. It takes a really smart person to figure out a perfect murder plan. It takes time and unless this was something they have been planning for weeks or months prior to Haleigh’s disappearance, I just have a hard time believing this was their doings. It is more likely to be a plan from someone that has a lot of experience and that knows how to get away with this. It would take a lot longer than even a few hours to plan what they are thinking they have done and continue keeping it for 16 plus months I refuse to believe in my heart that Haleigh is dead and until they show me proof I will continue thinking so.

I am told that in Louisiana a person has to be missing for 7 years in order for a death certificate to be issued and unless the case is considered to be a homicide, then the 7 years stands. Now from what I could find in Florida a person missing has to be gone for 5 years before they can be declared dead. What I can’t find is if the missing person’s case is listed as a homicide could the law be the same as Louisiana. Anyway it is a food for thought. A death certificate is needed to collect life insurance on a deceased person too I believe. It sure makes my mind wonder.
