With that incident in his hip pocket and what he believed new information, Cobra met up at the Bylow in Satsuma with law enforcement heavies like Putnam County Sheriff’s Det. John Merchant, lead Haleigh investigator; a Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigator and an assistant state attorney. They clustered around the ice machine outside, where Cobra showed them his files, and, he believed, won their blessing.

“They told me, ‘We don’t have anything on him, you can talk to him if you have a bond issue, that’s a civil matter.’ I said I wanted to yoke him, get him off the streets because of the Haleigh Bug incident. They didn’t seem to object. I told them what he (Snodgrass) was up to, and they seemed to nod that it sounded good.”

Law enforcement insists no one ever deputized Staubs to pay a visit to Snodgrass.

Earlier today it was clear that there was a great deal of information that was beginning to surface that were just too complex to put into an article. Our decision was to go with an impromptu radio discussion.

The panel consisted of Simon ‘Mop Head’ Barrett, that ‘unreliable’ radio reporter from Gainsville, Florida TJ Hart, and ‘Snake Man’ William Cobra Staubs. My sincere thanks go out to Cue Ball for the new names. We all thank the loyal commenter’s here on BNN for sharing this BREAKING, although somewhat bald news, I guess Cue Ball is pissed that the Rogaine didn’t take.

This morning Donna Brock was in court, and she has plead guilty to a lesser charge. One that only carries a 15 year minimum sentence. Ouch, that magic number of 15 just keeps coming up. Donna Brock, like Hope Sykes seems to have been a bit player in the saga, yet the jail terms are hitting hard and heavy.

Donna Brock, drug co-defendant with Misty Croslin, pleads guilty

A Georgia woman who was arrested on drug charges with Misty Croslin pleaded guilty Tuesday to one count of trafficking and is set for sentencing Sept. 1.

Croslin, 18, is a key figure in the disappearance of the Putnam County girl Haleigh Cummings.

Donna Brock, 44, had been charged with one count of trafficking prescription narcotics of more than 28 grams, an offense that carries a minimum mandatory sentence of 25 years.

However, she pleaded guilty to a weight of drugs that carries a minimum mandatory sentence of 15 years, said Chris Kelly, spokesman for the Seventh Circuit State Attorney's Office.

Putnam Co. Man Faces Federal Charges

A Putnam County man convicted of lewd and lascivious battery on a child in 2002 has been arrested on charges stemming from the possession of guns by a felon and trying to sell three pistols.

A federal grand jury indicted Charles Durwood Ingram on charges that he knowingly possessed firearms in and affected commerce after he had been convicted of a crime punishible by imprisonment for a term exceeding one year.

That same grand jury also indicted his wife, Dale Ingram for aiding and abetting him.

Ingram was the owner of Chuck's Bail Bonds, but then signed the business over to his wife after his conviction.

The ATF also alleges Ingram made a false claim by completing a sworn statement  that he sold the guns (a Hi-Point, 9 mm pistol, a Taurus  .45 caliber pistol and an Intratec .22 caliber pistol) prior to being convicted of a felony offense.

Guilty plea in drug case for woman with ties to Haleigh Cummings case
She is scheduled for sentencing Sept. 1.

A 44-year-old woman with connections to the case of missing Haleigh Cummings has pleaded guilty to drug trafficking in St. Johns County.

Donna M. Brock of Orlando was recorded in an undercover investigator's car with Misty Croslin, who called police when 5-year-old Haleigh disappeared in February 2009.

The two were arrested during a monthlong sting that resulted in the arrest of five people in separate drug buys, including Haleigh's father Ronald Cummings.

Brock and Croslin were charged with trafficking at least 28 grams of oxycodone in a sale involving 155 pills for $800 in January, according to charging documents. Today, Brock pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of trafficking in between 14 to 28 grams of the drug, according to court records.

She is scheduled for sentencing Sept. 1. The reduced charge carries a minimum mandatory sentence of 15 years, according to state guidelines.

Brock befriended Croslin during the search of Haleigh, who has still not been found and who investigators with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office have said they believe is dead.
