They pulled her like that to clear her legs from the door & both of them rushed to make sure the elevator door did not shut on her legs.   Then after that emergent action they probably knew not to move her too much until medics could take a look at her, SOP.

Camera Captures Casey Anthony's Fall

Sources tell WESH 2 News Casey Anthony has a chipped tooth, swollen lip and facial cuts after a fall at the Orange County Courthouse on Tuesday.

Video of the fall released Wednesday shows Anthony falling hard and hitting her face the elevator's floor

Also visible in the video, the point where Anthony’s leg irons appear to get caught in the opening between the elevator and the elevator door.

With her hands cuffed, Anthony is unable to break her own fall.

It appears neither of the corrections officers are holding on to her when the accident happens.

The incident happened on Anthony's way into the elevator adjacent to Judge Belvin Perry's 23rd floor courtroom, in a highly secure holding area you can access only with a swipe card.

Representatives for the Sheriff's Office and ninth judicial circuit said Anthony was in the custody of Orange County Corrections when the fall happened.

A corrections spokesman told WESH 2’s Bob Kealing, "We are not doing on camera interviews regarding the incident. Our next anticipated release of information will be an Internal Affairs inquiry in the next several days.”

The spokesman said Anthony is back at the jail after getting treatment at a local hospital.
Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, has not commented on the video. George and Cindy Anthony’s lawyer said he would comment after watching the video.
