JP has ordered defense to file a witness list by July 6 with witnesses that pertain to the motion filed on Nov19 to introduce bad acts by Kronk.  The Jar must have zoned out as he asked the judge to repeat.  When the judge did he asks for a side bar.  Hmmmmmmmmmmm

After sidebar JP extended the deadline to file witness list to July 12.

I know it is just a status hearing, but I am surprised at the fact that there are so few in attendance. I see all on the defense side are reporters, except for the one with the arrow. Is that a "websleuther"? Anyone know who it is?

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The case against Casey Anthony was back in court Monday afternoon for a status hearing, but Casey did not attend. Judge Perry said she doesn't have to come to the monthly status hearings, which won't involve arguments on major issues.
Attorneys from both sides met for a status hearing with Chief Judge Belvin Perry Jr. The judge could decide whether a jury should be allowed to hear Cindy Anthony's incriminating 911 call. This could be an important ruling for the case for a number of reasons.

Judge Belvin Perry Jr. evidently isn’t paying attention to the heavy television coverage of the Casey Anthony case.

At a status hearing this afternoon, Perry acknowledged that didn’t catch Cindy Anthony’s interview on “Good Morning America” last week — and asked for an update. He added, “”The only thing I generally watch on television are movies when I watch TV.”

So what do you think of that?

Haha. I personally don't have a problem at all if the Judge does not watch TV, except for movies. Most of the stuff on TV is garbage anyway.

But I can see where it would incense a newspaper TV columnist. LOL

Lots going on here today, so I couldn't watch.  I have been in Natalee's thread a lot too.  I think it is refreshing that the judge does not watch tv.  I think he is a very intelligent man and I am thrilled that he is presiding over what was destined to become a circus.  I think he is going to make all the difference in seeing that this trial is held in the manner that it should be.
