My take on -

Quote
THE 10 FOLLIES OF “PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRATS” AND THEIR CURRENT POLITICAL CLASS AND WHY WE MUST FIGHT TO CHANGE IT

...

Here is what I observe to be 10 follies of the “Progressive Democrats” and the devaluation of politics itself.

1. We govern as a clique- a cult based around Obama's personality and make this the focal point of the party

2. Policy does not matter- as long as it “sounds” convincing people will vote for it

3. People should be treated like children, we need not bother treating them like responsible adults

4. We must tell people only anything we think they want to hear and be fearful to tell them anything that they may find challenging

5. “Intelligence” is superior to common sense, we sound so intelligent we need not bother with common sense

6. We are entitled to power and take everything for granted so sensible policies, hard work, struggle and perserverence are unnecessary

7. It is better to be expedient and liked than principled and consistent

8. Its ok to keep changing our positions- people will soon forget

9. Image is everything and matters more than substance

10. We should do anything at any cost to maintain our image and put our own survival above everything else

This is the philosophy of the “Progressive Democrats”. Like the “Pop Idol” its success is most often fleeting.
