Sorry monkeys for mentioning that it was a wierd picture of that house.  I did not intend to launch a dialog about photoshopping.

Florida, I'm sorry for mentioning anything about your photo.

Sleuth - Florida mentioned hurricaine shutters.  Why would they need hurricaine shutters if they almost never get hurricaines?  Just wanted to know if you ever saw them while in Aruba?

I think they would be more aptly called plantation shutters. Something on the house that can be closed to let the wind blow through, and keep the sun out?
Probably more stylistic than actually functional with the availability of ac.

Aruba is out of the hurricane belt.  It is not normal to have hurricane shutters there, but I wouldn't say that the super-cautious wouldn't have them.  It is more likely to have shutters against the sun.

Take a look and give us some feedback on what y'all think.

I liked it Mrs. Red. ...as a format for hearing about individual and/or different events in Youtube form? I thought it was very good.

Monkeys, jump on over and try this out if you have not yet.  Very bizarre story, but also a great new work of Klaas in bringing the video to us.

Good job Dana, Klaasend and SM!

Sorry Lala's - is it better now?  It doesn't blow the margins for me.  It would have if I was using Firefox but not with IE.

I agree. I don't care how small in stature that guy is.....his face is NOT that of a 12 year old, or 13 or 15 or18 year old. He would have been the only kid in class to grow a five-o'clock shadow.  Twisted Evil

Thanks Sleuth - I downloaded a cool program that I used to put the podcast and slide show together.  It allows you to save as a video file which allows it to be on YouTube.  The possibilities are endless  Wink

Sleuth  Why would you need to apologise ?  We had a lot of fun discussing the house and ended up deciding it was an Ikea house.  It was not a house owned by anyone here and as it had so many parts that appeared to be added on we said it looked like a house where someone had photoshopped the picture.  Then to prove a point we showed the photoshopping efforts with the vdS compound.
Now if I say something about a person on this board like "xxxx - I think you are a dill"  I would expect to have to apologise when Klaas or Lala's caught up with me but if I comment on a picture or item it is certainly not meant to be personal and should not be taken that way.  If that is the case we would all be apologising every page.
