So Joran GAVE Jaap the map?????? Joran essentially ADMITTED guilt by extorting the Holloways. Joran killed again on the exact 5 year anniversary date.
I am convinced Joran WANTED to be finally caught.
Sorry but I just am not falling for this again until Beth says Natalee is home.
I can never believe that Joran wanted to get caught he's way too selfish. Not buying it he got caught because he thought he was untouchable, Well Joran your not in the Netherlands anymore...

I am completely with you Blonde.  Although some shrinks and counselors believe that criminals want to be caught...I never have bought that theory.  The shrinks are just saying the opposite of what they have said before..in otherwords....a narcissistic psycho/ socio path /anti social personality disordered individual does not have a conscience..that we agree on..but  other shrinks saying they want to be caught negates that statement an attributes something to these people they don't have..empathy, compassion, conscience.  Nope..not happening.  These people serve no other person or God then themselves.

Juran had no conscience and never will.  I believe he didn't know that Stephany was the daughter of such a powerful and famous man.  I believe he thought she was someone that just hung around casinos, played poker and no one would miss for sometime...like the girls in Thailand.   He thought wrong this time.  Criminals become more brazen the more crimes they get away with..not because they develop a conscience and want to be caught.  Joran had developed caught a lifestyle for himself that few young men have at his age.  I doubt he ever decided to exchange that lifestyle for jail in Peru.

If Joran truly wanted to be caught, I don't think he would choose to go to prison as a foreigner in Peru. It would make more sense to be caught in the Netherlands - or even the US - where the prisons are known to be reasonably comfortable.

just for the record - I don't think Joran can travel freely to the US any longer - he's on some sort of watch list and was detained when he went to New York years ago. We still don't know why he was detained.

This was a VERY EXCITING WEEKEND because of a sad cause though: another girl murdered. But in the end with a great conclusion:

Stole this;
Asimismo, la sangre hallada en la camisa del extranjero corresponde a la víctima.

In addition, blood found on the foreigner's shirt corresponds with the victim.

A few pages back there was an article from a guy that covers the poker tournaments saying that JVDS was not a participant in said tournament.
He was a railhanger (spectator)
Why was he in Lima? Just some R&R?

Even though the big tournament was going to start and Joran wasn't entered, that doesn't mean that he couldn't act like a big guy and gamble.  He loves to gamble tournament or not.  Likely he didn't qualify for the tournament and that's the only reason he wasn't signed up for it.

He was in Lima to follow the LAPT around, gamble and run away from the FBI and Aruba.

Are any wildcards given for tournaments like this? In other words could an outsider participate if he won like a first round?
Maybe after all his extortion schemes failed, media attention and willingness to pay for his lies faded, he tried to get in the tournament to make some easy cash.
And when this also failed he snapped and had to release his rage on somebody?

This is such a horrible crime.  My prayers go out to the victims families.  I am grateful he has been caught.

It just makes me so sick to think what he probably did to Natalee, since his crime against this girl is so horrific.  How could anyone  believe Natalee did anything to bring this on herself.  She was a victim of a psychopath, as was Ms Flores.

I blame The Netherlands and Aruba for this.  I believe  all the powers that be from the Netherlands have just as much, if not more blood on their hands.  They allowed the mockery of justice to continue, in spite of Joran's confessions.  I hope everyone involved in hiding this monster's guilt, will never live in peace.  Same goes for all the idiots at RU.  They should be consumed with shame and guilt.  They are criminals too for degrading Natalee's reputation and spreading malicious lies and rumors, so that this worthles POS could walk free.  IMO.  I am so outraged.

Is it possible X is one of Joran's friends from Aruba, that for the Netherlands
shortly after Natalee 'disappeared.  There was a guy whose Mother alibied him...forget his name.

Maybe X is the Weaver(Wever?) kid (the one that wanted to be a model) who worked at the Aruban Casino the night Natalee was there and then later went missing. Remember he fled to the Netherlands in a hurry the next day.

Joran should have put that laptop to better us and Googled " Peruvian Prisons".

One of the first finds is "Lori Berenson" She was the American that was convicted of aiding Leftist Rebels.

She only got 15 years

She just got released but has to remain in Peru until 2015.

Here is a before & after picture.

Sounds about like what we were expecting:

Conditions were poor to extremely harsh in facilities for prisoners who lacked funds. Overcrowding, poor sanitation, and inadequate nutrition and health care were serious problems. Inmates had intermittent access to running water, bathing facilities were inadequate, kitchen facilities were unhygienic, and prisoners slept in hallways and common areas for lack of cell space. Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS reportedly remained at near-epidemic levels. The San Juan de Lurigancho men's prison held 9,874 prisoners in a facility designed for 3,204.

.....Conditions were especially harsh in maximum-security facilities located at high altitudes. The high-security prison in the jungle area of Iquitos was in poor condition and was under renovation. During the year the PNP transferred responsibility for operating the facility to INPE.

Prison guards and fellow inmates reportedly abused prisoners. There were deaths of inmates in prisons, most attributed to fellow inmates, but some were due to negligence by guards. Guards received little or no training or supervision. Corruption was a serious problem, and some guards cooperated with criminal bosses who oversaw the smuggling of guns and drugs into prisons.

By December authorities had sentenced only 17,297 of the 44,800 persons held in the country's detention facilities. Authorities held detainees temporarily in pretrial detention centers located at police stations, judiciary buildings, and the Ministry of Justice. In most cases authorities held pretrial detainees with convicted prisoners.

The government permitted prison visits by independent human rights observers. The International Committee of the Red Cross made 44 unannounced visits in accordance with its standard modalities to inmates in 27 prisons and detention centers.

There was obviously evidence in Natalee's case - Beth WAS asked to give blood.

What would you compare Beth's blood to if nothing existed.

Aruba deserves each and every negative comment, every canceled vacation, and 35 more years of misery.

So how are we going to split this up?  We can't listen to Dana's and Steph's shows at the same time to post updates (at least I think they are on at the same time).

Any volunteers?
