Joran told the Holloway family lawyer the exact location where N.H. body was buried in April.

BS ... dont buy that at all. He would never have given up that info w/o being paid in full.

So far I've haven't heard any news really.  Tim Miller, Dave Holloway and the witness (they are calling him Jay, I think) are on the phone.

The sister of one of Drew Peterson's wives called in to thank "Jay" for coming forward.  (?? um, okay.)

I haven't heard yet where the "map" says to search.

But what is the psychiatric disorder that causes people to become apologists for, defenders, sustainers and in total denial where guilt is glaringly apparent?  You know, the one who always say something other COULD have happened when the odds make it just about impossible? 

You know the kind that are always obsessing over the rights of the suspects and in denial that there is sufficient circumstantial evidence for prosecution and conviction--the "no body, no crime" types and a society that in general is so busy protecting one of their own they have no desire for jutixe?

They are killers the same as Joran but do so out of feelings of being morally superior when in fact they are just plain stupid and that stupidity gets other innocent people killed and lives ruined.

I wonder if there is a name for what is wrong with those people as well.

Quite common! For some people they can't comprehend that another person would think anyway but "good". Thus the person committing the crime must be some kind of victim of society, abuse or mentally challenged.
It's a defense mechanism when people feel sorry for Joran and other criminals. They don't have the capacity to believe anyone can commit a crime therefore there is no murder, rape, slaughter in their lives. They force the feelings into a place out of reality and the criminal becomes a cartoon character rather than a real person.

Same thing happened on 911. Since we can't comprehend that there is a religion that orders people to kill, we turn the blame elsewhere. Truth is... the act was committed by Muslims who want to kill the infidel.
It's a matter of lack of knowledge of the type of people who commit acts of violence.

jj I don't mean to offend you but I do disagree.  The condition is called enabling and has nothing to do with not comprehending the bad in others.  911 has no connection to this case or people's views on it. 

Some people, like Joran's Mother and family and friends can believe he did this ..but instead turn that aside..to cover their own ass and his at the same time.  It has to do with saving face, saving business and saving themselves.  Who wants to be known as the mother of a killer, the Island home of a killer, the friend of a killer?  So rather then admit the sorry truth and go through the process of exposure..they cover up for themselves..then for him.

It's a defense mechanism, common in abusers.
Manipulators often play the victim role ("poor me") by portraying themselves as victims of circumstances or someone else's behavior in order to gain pity, sympathy or evoke compassion and thereby get something from another. Caring and conscientious people cannot stand to see anyone suffering and the manipulator often finds it easy to play on sympathy to get cooperation.

Joran isn't the first to use this method. There are cultures that teach the mentality. Joran used this to get out of the mess in Aruba. That won't happen again.

Steph just asked Tim why he's in Aruba.

Tim says Joran drew a map to show where Nat's remains are.

Tim got with Dave and they decided to go and look.

He's going to search there AND where "Jay" says.

Going to look at it so they don't question themselves forever.  Looking where Joran says is a damned if you do, damned if don't thing.

Going to generate the money to finish the deep water search and look at the rest of the 140 targets.  Going to take a lot of money 1 to 1.5 million.

Tim asking the community to help make these searches happen.  Steph requesting donations.

I am shocked that Tim Miller is asking for donations for the ocean search without any discussion of what would be different this time to prevent the US authorities being shut out from any of the findings.

I really am shocked.  I still think his heart is in the right place, but he should be better tuned in to his donors than that.
