The Illinois State Police are following up on a lead in rural central Illinois regarding the 2007 disappearance of Stacy Peterson, the fourth wife of former Bolingbrook Police Sgt. Drew Peterson.

Police did not provide any more specifics on where they were working, though a release from the police said that a media staging area is being set up near Peoria. There were no additional details available on the nature of the lead they were working on.

On Friday night, TMZ.com reported that officials believe they know where a body believed to be that of Stacy Peterson is buried and that they will be digging in that area today. The article said that the area being searched is just outside Peoria.

A Joran Van der Sloot in Aruba repudiate it, say
Markos Espinoza, a Peruvian journalist based in Aruba, told RPP that justice in the island could not condemn the Netherlands for lack of evidence in the disappearance of an American.

Joran Van der Sloot, chief suspect in the murder of Stephany Flores (21), is repudiated in Aruba, where the Netherlands is linked to the disappearance of American Natalee Holoway 2005.

Said so. Markos Espinoza, a Peruvian journalist based in Aruba. In RPP studies indicated that the population in that part of the world had that reaction after watching the then 18 year old confessed to a natural and carefree attitude, not knowing it was recorded, how the body disappeared Holoway.

However, Van der Sloot could not be indicted or be taken to court because, according to press said the man, justice in Aruba requires hard evidence, and in that case was never found the body or the murder weapon that would have been killed the victim.

The Peruvian said that during investigations of the case, the alibi of the Dutchman and his friends, who at the time were arrested with him were going against what the light of increased public suspicions over guilty. Added to that was the last to be seen with Natalee Holoway.

In brief reference about the permanence of Joran Van der Sloot in Aruba, the journalist commented that now the Peruvian murder suspect Stephany Flores completed his studies at the island.

He attended primary and secondary education in the only private school in Aruba, in the International Shool of Aruba.

He said that appeared to be a normal teenager who had among his hobbies, go to casinos and nightclubs. His life changed when he met in May 2005 which would have been its first victim: Natalee Holoway.

Good grief. Are we thinking that he was in a plane, and then a car for 10+ hours, with a dirty diaper? What a chitty assignment for those "escorting" him.

I'm confused about his belongings; supposedly he had a backpack and one (per hotel person?) or two (per taxi brothers) suitcases. But then there was an article that led me to think that --

* He had spent Wednesday night AT that seaside resort.
* When they caught him Thursday in the taxi, he had nothing with him.
* They tried to retrive his stuff, but he couldn't remember where he stayed?

I have always gotten sick to my stomach the way from day 1 he would always find a camera, smile with his eyes. No matter the situation, handcuffs, police car, whatever. Joran always seemed to locate a camera and smile with his eyes. Well his eyes sure aren't smiling for the cameras now. His whole demeanor seems different (to me)

Dutchman Joran Van der Sloot came to Lima
The main suspect in the murder of Stephany Flores (21) reached by road from Lima Tacna brought after being released by the Chilean authorities.

 After a journey of more than 24 hours by road from Tacna, Lima became the Dutchman Joran van der Sloot, chief suspect in the murder of Stephany Flores (21).

This occurs after the day before the authorities of Chile, where the Dutchman came after leaving Peru on 31 May, delivered abroad to yield an explanation from the justice of our country for the high-profile crime.

RPP reported, Van der Sloot was uploaded to a vehicle of the Interpol in Peru to be taken to the Criminal Investigation Division of the National Police for details of the murder of a businessman and race car driver, Ricardo Flores.
