As much as I want to see this monster suffer horribly for the crimes he has committed against Natalee and Stephany, I do not want to see him dead at this point in time. I am really hoping he finally does the right thing and confesses to all he has done in a sorry attempt to save his life, since that is all he seems to care about. It is only right that the Holloway's know what happened to Natalee, and the Flores family get justice for the savage murder of their beautiful daughter. Knowing that every minute of Joran's life from now on will be sheer Hell is good enough for me.

Any thoughts on whether Anita will show up there or for the trial? I think she'll try to work through Netherland connections in hopes of helping, but it will be to no avail. I'm guessing she will kick in money for a lawyer. I don't think she'll show up in person.

So is this to imply that Stephany drove them to Joran's hotel room then Joran drove Stephany's car BACK to the casino area?  So he can't claim insanity because he knew what he did was wrong and he attempted to cover his tracks. What a monster.

Flores confirmed that the racket (presumed attack weapon) does not belong to his daughter. Early in the morning personnel from the homicide division went back to the hotel, this time to inspect documentation that Joran could have left. They also went to the next door gas station to interview the MiniMarket employees, and found out Joran bought 2 cups of coffee at 8:00 am on Sunday. He went back to the hotel, went upstairs and came back down at 8:25 am with only 1 cup of coffee in order to pay for the days he owed. He left the hotel at 8:45 am with a black rucksack and a small brown handbag. They never saw him again.

possibly TWO cups of coffee for Joran himself - one while he packs up and one for the road? all the while Stephany is lying deceased in the room. Can't get much more cold-hearted than that.
