Police said the body of the victim found the necklace and jewelry she usually wore. Moreover, in her purse was missing about $ 1,000 she had received from her father to buy a laptop.

This writes the Peruvian newspaper El Comercio. The paper is based on statements by Ricardo Flores, father of the murdered girl. CNN reports that the murder weapon was a baseball bat. The weapon, according to the news found in the hotel room where Flores was killed.

Denial
Prime suspect Joran van der Sloot denied yesterday, during an interrogation by the Chilean authorities of involvement in the murder of the young Peruvian. However, he admitted knowing Flores. Fernando Ovalle said that the Chilean national television detectives. In Chile Joran was visited by the Dutch embassy. Johan van der Werff, Ambassador to Chile, said in an interview that Joran a calm impression. "He was pretty quiet. He had at that time no specific request for assistance. "The embassy will Joran consular assistance. This implies that he will get 30 euros a month in jail for sundries and that contact is maintained with his family. He was yesterday by the Chilean authorities handed over to the Peruvian police.

Exchange
Joran reportedly may be in Chile three years in custody down. Then hang it over the head of a penalty 25 years. The probability that he should serve his sentence in the Netherlands is estimated close to zero, Dutch media said. Netherlands and Peru for over a year to negotiate a treaty called WOTS (Law Enforcement of Criminal Sentences transfer) that governs the exchange of prisoners. Netherlands agrees with the text there is, but not Peru, said a spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry Friday to the AP. WOTS a treaty stipulates that if the prisoner wants and both countries agree, a penalty or a part thereof may be served in the country of origin.

Prison
The prisons in Peru are inscribed as "one of the worst in the world." Probation Netherlands writes: "In practice, the situation in most prisons are seriously flawed. The food is poor to fair, giving you extra food to buy. In some prisons, you can rent a cell and in other prisons, you can buy a cell. After your jail time may again be sold. "The quality of medical care in prison is generally poor, said the probation service. "The overcrowding in many ancient buildings usually leads to poor hygienic conditions. TB, hepatitis and other infectious diseases are common. "

I just saw Joran Vander Sloot as he arrived in Lima under massive police escort. He looked scared, frightened. Reality sinking in.

I am shocked at how stupid the people at RU are;

I think this will get very ugly smooth for Joran with the connections that her his father has had. Her His father has already convicted covered it up for Joran and there is no telling what he is saying to people.

Just in Dutch RTL4 news: a reporter stood only a couple of meters away from Joran at the pressconference. They paraded him there THREE TIMES in front of the camera's. (UNIQUE even for Peruvian standards!!!) The third time they almost threw themselves on him. She asked him some questions in Dutch but he didn't say a thing. But when the photographers almost threw themselves on him he looked VERY SCARED.

I wonder if he "poopied' his pants again! LOL    I know it is cruel of me, but I am really enjoying his humiliation and the hatred demonstrated toward him.  I agree with Rob, throw vegetables, hell, throw cameras!  I love that while they are marching him back and forth they are talking about the murderer.  I wonder if he is getting the message yet??

I'm enjoying his humiliation and the hatred that's being demonstrated too AZSunny!  I just wish I could be there to join in!

He's jeered and sneered at Natalee and her family for five years...it's been a long time coming!

the Universe has a way of settling chaos - it's called Karma, and I am amazed it's wonderment, and timing.

I leave Karma to do it's own bidding, and evening things up.

Works for me.

lol

It's all on the turntable: what goes 'round, comes 'round.  How soon it all catches up depends on how big the table is.  The bigger the table is the more there is to hit you when it comes 'round.  Joran's table was really big!!!

He deserves everything he's getting, especially all the humiliation...look at what he's done over the years!  It warms my heart to watch it and I'm grateful that we get to see it in action, even though it's happening so far away.

The head beat happens at 0:54.  It looks like someone takes a coat and whips it at him with good aim making contact.

Thanks, NR...it happened so fast, I missed it the first time around.

Lord, forgive me, but that sure felt good to watch.  I can only hope that Paulus can somehow watch all this.  In fact, I so wish he was still here to have to live through it all.  The deception began with his "no body, no crime" BS.  Let the maulings continue.  I've got my Coke and popcorn and ready to view them all.

BTW, you guys are fantastic!  Now, back to being yet another number in the rafters.

plhtx1 - I think it is just wonderful, and fitting, smirched pants and all.  Not "prized" animal.  Just animal.

Everything about this whole situation is just steeped in Karma. It's the victim's father now with the influence....... not Papa Sloot.

Yep............. Joran's quite the trophy, apparently!

Joran's temper

Post Joran Attacks American Tourist
Joran v d Sloot and the Plate Glass Window

While there is currently no evidence to suggest that Joran v d Sloot threw a boy through a plate glass window, as some news reports have claimed, a reliable source has confirmed an incident on January 23 of this year which may have led to the rumor.

In one of what might be a pattern of confrontations with visiting American teenagers - which will be addressed in a post tomorrow night, on the day in question Joran v d Sloot is said to have gotten into a fight with an 18 year old male American over possible advances toward a female. The male and female Americans were said to be visiting the island together.

At some point in the confrontation, Joran, much larger than the tourist, was reported to have thrown him against the plate glass window of a local Dunkin Donuts, however the window did not break.

The police were called to deal with the incident, however no arrests were made and no official report was filed.

FOX -

Oh, how touching. Apparently, Phil Keating got close enough to `Maton`
to be able to report back that JORAN WAS MOIST-EYED.

Nice work. (azz crack!)

LIMA, Peru

LIMA, Peru -- The lone suspect in the disappearance of U.S. teen Natalee Holloway was paraded -- moist-eyed and looking stunned -- before reporters on Saturday as Peruvians denounced him and detectives began interrogating him about the murder of a Lima student.

Just in Dutch NOS news: interrogations of Jurine start today.
It's a 'national' case: even the president is involved in the procedings.
The tone of conversation gets sharper.
Father of the girl wants to start a campagne to get the youth of the street (he thinks they go out later and later). He feels guilty of not being able to protect his daughter.

Interrogations to begin now is going to be interesting. I can't imagine Joran has had much sleep since the murder. He should be rather easy to crack, IMO.

Interior Ministry conference (video)

Netherlands three times paraded before journalists in rugged presentation. Octavio Salazar declined to give details of the investigation

Wow,  that is quite a "show and tell" - a little different than Aruba!  Parade the scum for all to see!
I love it. The folks at RU are screaming about how badly they are treating poor Joran.
They need to start eating crow and stop all their BS and face the fact that there dream boy is going down hard. (no 'pun' intended)
