He admitted to the crime stating she was using his computer about being involved in NH's death.

Who here buys that as the reason why he killed her?

I mean almost every one would recognize him and would figure that he was the suspect in Natalee's disappearance and death.

What really must have been on his laptop? There must have been damning stuff like trafficking and much more than merely references to NH.

I don't buy that excuse at all. May not have even happened. He's trying to save himself from a life sentence.

Someone was looking for the Steve Cohen picture when Joran got out in Aruba (other than the small jpg from the front page archives).  Let me know if you still need it and I can dig it p - I know I have it on a thumbdrive.

I`m having a hard time buying it. He said reading about who he was on the Internet, correct?

That`s a stretch.

Ceilita brings up a good point too. If he did it after he came back from getting coffee... he looks a little neat and is wearing the same clothes. What he is accused of ... he`d need a change of outfits, no?

Curly... where did you see that report? I haven`t seen that one yet.

Carpe, no I think he said his private life, meaning his secret files he had kept about Natalee so am hoping we find answers about her as well.

I do not buy his explanation. I think he may have used the computer to lure her by claiming an online poker account sufficient to cover a debt to her after losing her money - or just claiming to be an online poker big shot as a ruse to get her to come to his room to see.

I say that because they do not look like a romantic couple in the video and she may have been vulnerable to that kind of a hustle - if she was exhausted, drugged, and involved in some kind of poker marathon.

There it is.

According to police sources, the murderer, during interrogation by more than ten hours, attributed the crime to the anger that caused him to find the girl reviewing the files on your laptop.

It is presumed that she opened her e-mails that the subject had known about his criminal acts. Then the girl confirmed the suspicion in the Internet search engines, where there is abundant information of the crime of Natalee Holloway (17) and the extortion of their parents, in Aruba, facts of which he is the prime suspect.

I still think this story is concocted (by Joran) to minimize his sentence. If he were that concerned with his privacy and info so important that it would cause him to murder - he wouldn't have left it out in plain view while he went out for coffee.  I think it had something to do with money and/or drugs. Wasnt GHP or some other substance found in the victims car??

On an unrelated topic, would you know where I could find the large version of this?

There was some analysis early in this thread.  It looked like there was scratches/bruises along his shoulder and/or chest.

Are you saying that Glenda has blamed Beth for that murderer being available to murder Stephany??!!  Because if she is, she is even sicker and crazier than I thought and maybe I'll just go over to the Refugees and have a word with her.

translated:

She was killed by reviewing your laptop
By J. Yucra

It is professional poker player and believed to have an ace up his sleeve, but his alibi collapsed like a house of cards. The Dutchman Joran van der Sloot (23) had no other choice but to confess to the murder of the young Stephany Flores Ramirez (21), whom he met at a casino in Miraflores. "Yes, I killed her. I did, I accept," he said with a breathtaking cold, with no sign of repentance.

Van der Sloot had confessed his crime minutes after 9 pm last Sunday. After a deep breath and fell silent for long seconds.

Would have revealed that the crime occurred after 8:20 am on Sunday 30 May at the hotel 'Tac' of Miraflores, where they had taken after meeting at the casino 'Atlantic'. Joran had gone to buy bread and coffee for breakfast. She took advantage of his absence to check your laptop and discovered he was a murderer and extortionist.

Punching and racket
"He came back and was enraged. The two began to argue violently. The man shot to death," a police source told.

This version is confirmed by the coffee residue found on the floor and the victim had bruises on various parts of the body.

Also, the summary of autopsy determined that she showed signs of ten punches in the face that broke his nose and mouth, causing a time-to-eye inflammation.

In addition, five blows to the head and neck with a racket head trauma caused her death necessary. She also had bruises on the hands and feet, as they tried to defend himself, but was little he could do to a man over 90 meters tall.

Then, after committing the murder, the stranger kept his belongings in two suitcases and valuables from the victim, as well as jewelry and money, to leave the accommodation.

On the other hand, it was learned that yesterday three Forensic psychologists were gathered for at least five hours with foreign countries.

His public defender, Carla Odrķa, waived the defense when he heard the confession.

Well, that SOB.

You may be given before 20 years but would

Joran van der Sloot If it avails itself of the honest confession and thus managed to be understood in the crime of murder would be sentenced to a term below the statutory minimum, estimated the trial lawyer Mario Amoretti.

This release coincided with views of some judges, who said that, to obtain this benefit, the person would be sentenced to a term of 8 to 10 years in prison, but would come to meet one third.

If convicted of murder without premeditation, would give up to 20 years, and profits could come in 8 or 10 years.

Meanwhile, it emerged that the National Penitentiary Institute (INPE) would order today its entry into the criminal "Miguel Castro Castro" or "Piedras Gordas', for safety.

Not surprised he is trying to link the crime with the computer he had. I posted last night there could be some linkage, he used it to lure her to his room or something like that.

Now I am hearing he is using the computer to try and mitigate the crime. I also think he is trying to get convicted on the Aruba crime, or link the two murders so as to serve a sentence there instead of in Peru. This without confessing truthfully to either one.

The confession he has put forth in Peru is self serving, incomplete and likely inaccurate.

He may try to stay high profile as a self preservation tactic. I think it is only chance to stay alive.

My question is this: Will Joran Van Der Sloot again receive special treatment from a justice system? Will he be kept safe from the general prison population in ways an unknown criminal would not?

Does anyone think he still has a chance to get preferential treatment from the justice system? Will he be protected from the general prison population because he is high profile?
