More details emerge in the Flores murder
(NEWSER) – Joran Van der Sloot has confessed—to one killing. But as more details in the Stephany Flores Ramirez case leak, new information regarding Natalee Holloway's disappearance may have come to light: Investigators in Aruba are searching near a bird sanctuary. More from the Daily Beast and the Telegraph:
•   Van der Sloot may have bankrolled his trip to Peru using money he extorted from the Holloway family.
•   Van der Sloot said he met Flores at a poker table; she was up, he was down.
•   He discovered her using his computer after going out to get coffee in the early morning; according to a leaked police report, she was looking at a file filled with Holloway-related press clippings and legal documents.
•   He allegedly threw Flores around a tiled room, bashed her head on a wooden bed frame, and battered her with a tennis racket.
•   He had bloody clothes in his possession when he was arrested in Chile.
•   He faces a maximum sentence of 35 years if convicted of Flores' murder.
•   He will be transferred to Miguel Castro Castro Prison next weekend, and it's not a pretty place. A human-rights investigation 4 years ago found prisoners were tortured, raped, and left for long periods in pitch-black isolation. Read one horrific account here.

According to another Peru publication, 2 girls are missing in Colombia that were at the same casino Joran was in earlier in May;
UPDATE LIMA - The South American media following the reports about Joran van der Sloot at a rapid pace. In Colombia, the police now launched an investigation into the disappearance of two girls from the capital Bogota. Writes that the Peruvian newspaper El Comercio. The disappearance coincided with the stay of Joran van der Sloot in Bogota between 6 and May 14

Van der Sloot is the newspaper on various security monitoring of the major casinos in town. The girls visited the same casinos. Van der Sloot spent those days in two hotels in the Colombian capital.

Peru's La República knew news earlier today reported that the authorities in Aruba, the remains of Natalee Holloway had been found. The Attorney-General of the Public Prosecutor in Aruba, however, speaks against those messages.

Like I said...he'll be DEAD in 6 months to a year in that prison.  I'm sure his butt will be hurting the whole time though...

Thanks Klaas!! It was frustrating not being able to see what the fellow monkeys have found.  I sure hope that the news outlet that said Natalee was found knows more than we do or maybe something was found on the computer that can finally bring Natalee home.

I don't think it's gonna matter one bit what Bert De Rooij says - the Peruvians have the confession(s) on tape - just like the dutch specialists did. The difference is / was - the dutch burned that footage - the Peruvians won't.

I still think / know - the dutch will try everything to mobe him to Holland... probably won't work, but they will try and try and try and try and try.

There is something about Joran not having his Van Cromvoirt 700 thread count sheets and goose down pillers that really pisses off the dutch. He needs his mochachino when he wakes up, and a supply of cigarettes... and this makes the dutch conclude that someone's human rights have been whizzed all over.

Van der Sloot Stephany killed because she discovered his criminal past

'I did not do it. She intruded into my private life, "said the murderer confessed. Stephany Flores discovered the criminal record of the Dutchman, who shot to death
