Most prisoners in Peru wear the clothes they were arrested in and if nobody brings em' other clothing, that's what they wear until they serve their sentence, or die........ which ever happens first.

IIRC one of the articles said next day or so...I think they have 10 days from June 5th to keep him detained.

"Possible false confession Joran" AMSTERDAM - Joran van der Sloot may have under pressure a false confession to the murder of Stephany Flores. That says his Dutch lawyer Bert de Rooij.
Under De Rooij Joran shortly before his confession in a telephone conversation with his mother indicated that he was afraid of the interrogation methods of the Peruvian police, he told RTL Nieuws. The crying Joran would have called such methods "barbaric."

De Rooij van der Sloot represents in this case, but he advises him.

His mother named Anita Van Der Sloot has talked to his son over the phone on the very day of Thursday when he was actually arrested by the Chili police but she did not send a single word out as to what their conversation was all about. The Anita Van Der Sloot only sent one signal out and that was the very fact that her son is not at all a criminal and he has not murdered anyone as well as the family is now looking forward to have a lawyer.

So - did Joran leave Aruba on the 10th or the 13th? I've heard both - if he left on the 10th why did they wait to contact the FBI until the 13th?

Remember that nothing can force Peru to hand over Joran to any other country until he has completed the requirements of their justice system.  In other words, until he fulfills any sentences he may be given in Peru, they own him.

They don't have to honor ANY other requests for extradition and because of the close relationship of Stephany' father with LE, they have little to no motivation to even discuss Joran going anywhere.

Joran needed the deal, not Peru.  They have him dead to rights WITHOUT any confession and so that guarantees him nothing.  Besides, his confession has to be deemed "honest" and it doesn't even make sense. 

So even if Aruba wants Joran back or The NL wants him or Colombia or even the U.S. they will get Joran only after Peru is finished with him.  What's left of him, anyway.

And yes, Joran is making all civilized people sick calling any interrogation barbaric considering he is the barbarian here.  How insulting of his Dutch attoney advisor to even suggest such a thing.

Others will have to wait in line to get Joran the Barbarian.  They may be allowed to question him but it appears he owes Peru about 35 to life.  After that, we'll see who gets him next if there is a next.  No use to worry about it until it happens.
