Poker player tipped police

 From our reporters LIMA (PERU) -  The body of murdered Stephany Flores was found after a request from a mysterious foreign poker players to get someone to the room of Joran to send.  This is demonstrated by two police interviews, which this newspaper's possession.


  This 35-year-old man was heard several times in recent days.  So he stayed in the same hotel as Joran.  He had met before and also had the Peruvian mobile number in his phone to Joran.
 According to police photographs is about an Italian-looking man.  According to his papers is a naturalized Uruguayan Albanian, who two weeks for Joran and the country came in contact with him several times.
 This man, "Elton Garcia" may temporarily not leave Peru.  He is not as suspects.  He explained to the police that he was a professional poker player, with Joran and Stephany on a "free table" was played.
 The night before Stephany was found, he would have dinner with Joran, which does not appear.
 On Tuesday, two days after the murder, he says he was at nine o'clock appointment.  "He did not show up and I began to worry that he and Stephany Flores was kidnapped."

 The interrogation report adds that this mysterious poker player he'd heard that day Stephany by her family was reported missing.  He argues that interrogations have feared that Joran was abducted along with her.
 On the night of Wednesday, the man asked the head of the Atlantic City casino to call the hotel room of Joran.  As a result, later that night the body of Stephany Flores and immediately found an international warrant issued against Joran.
 He said the body would not identify.  "I did not see. I recognized her at a photo of the police

Security tightened around Joran

 LIMA -  The security around the 22-year-old murder suspect Joran van der Sloot has been tightened for fear of a suicide attempt by the Dutchman.  That the Peruvian authorities have informed against Upi.com website.
 
Van der Sloot is suspected of the murder of 21-year-old Peruvian Stephany Flores, whose body was found last Wednesday in the TAC hotel in tourist district of Miraflores in Peru.  The Dutchman is also still a suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway case.
 The Sunday escaped Van der Sloot was last Thursday after a manhunt by police Friday arrested in Chile and transferred to Peru.  He currently resides in custody at the police complex in Lima.

Netherlands didn't ask Peru for clarification

LIMA - The Dutch Embassy in Peru has not the Peruvian authorities requested clarification on the treatment of Joran van der Sloot.
 
That says the Foreign Ministry Monday. "We do not meddle in the judicial process of another country," said a ministry spokesman Monday.
U.S. network CNN reported Sunday that the Dutch Embassy in Peru was unhappy with how the country dealt with Van der Sloot. This would according to an embassy spokesman for the Peruvian police have reported to the authorities, following the presentation of Dutch suspect in the press.
Van der Sloot was to run up and down three times while the extensive media photographs and video footage of him could make. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs could not comment Sunday on the CNN news.

I believe that's exactly what they did just yesterday, lol.  Guess they think everybody has short term memory loss because I recall thinking "They don't understand Peru's system" in that whiny hysterical voice of Arlene.

And saying this as though it would matter if they cared or not is pretty funny, too.  Peru is not a former colony nor a protectorate and doesn't give a rat's ass what NL likes or doesn't like.  I wonder why they think Peru would pay any attention to them.

Birmingham, AL (WIAT)- Jossy Mansur, editor of Diario newspaper in Aruba, spoke with CBS 42 by phone, Sunday afternoon. He said there are two planned searches on the island. He says one will be near the bird sanctuary and the other near the dam. Mansur says the two other suspects in the Holloway case, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, are still believed to live on the island. They have kept a very low profile. He believes they should be worried Joran may try to implicate them in the disappearance of Natalee to get a better deal in Peru.

Joran van der Sloot will spend next week at police headquarters in Peru. He faces more questioning, and officials are testing a tennis racket and bloody clothes, for d-n-a linking him to the death of a young woman.

The two were caught on tape entering his hotel room, the day she was killed. As you can imagine, this is the talk of Aruba where Natalee Holloway disappeared five years ago. Joran van der Sloot is still the prime suspect in that case.

Does anyone know if a "date rape drug" has a hypnotic effect to where the user can pretty much be commanded to do anything? 

If so, that would account for the odd interaction between Joran and Stephany in the video at the hostel...earlier discussion was that it was odd that she just held her head down and there was no conversation going on between them. 

One theory I have is that Stephany was unaccustomed to going into a dive motel and was keeping her head low because of embarrassment.  I believe she was there to get her money and go.  If she was drugged, that could be another reason she was detached from Joran and the situation on cameras.  JMHO

Joran Van Der Sloot Faces Authorities In Peru

It seems that Joran van der Sloot may have gotten in over his head.

The Dutch boy was seen being led by Chile police officers from the SUV that carried him to a police auditorium in Lima, Peru. The normally nonchalant boy seemed a little more uptight as he was led through a crowd of journalists sporting a green bullet-proof vest and handcuffs. According to Gen. Cesar Guardia, chief of Peru’s criminal police, the police interrogation began almost immediately.

During the questioning, hotel surveillance camera footage was released. The video showed the victim, Flores, walking behind van der Sloot with her head down as he obtained the key to his hotel room. The couple was then seen entering the room. Van der Sloot was later seen exiting the room alone with a gym bag and a day pack in his hand. This is the very room where Flores body was found.

Octavio Salazar, Peru’s interior minister, said of the investigation, “We can’t rush the matter, nor can we give details concerning the event or that investigation itself.”

Van der Sloot is the prime suspect in the May 30th murder of Stephany Flores, 21. He is also the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teen, Natalee Holloway.

Joran wants a Dutch Lawyer
   
   
 (AP) - The murder suspect Joran van der Sloot wants a Dutch lawyer.  This reports the newssite Peru21 using information from his Peruvian lawyer.
 
 It is unclear whether his lawyer in the Netherlands, Bert de Rooij, will assume his defense in Peru.  De Rooij was right not respond Monday.  According to the Peruvian lawyer Rosa Luisa Camargo Madrid, Joran is looking for contact with his mother, whom he spoke by phone Thursday.  If the counselor to make way for a Dutch colleague, is unclear .
 De Rooij said last week that he tried to advise Joran, but did not heard from him.  Van der Sloot mailed him Thursday after his arrest in Chile from a police department with questions.  The lawyer has "numerous times"tried to call Van der Sloot  but got no answer.

 The Peruvian police is investigating a laptop in the backpack of the 22-year-old Van der Sloot had on him and possibly belonged to the murdered Stephany Flores.  Her father explained that his daughter the day before the murder, had given her one thousand U.S. dollars to buy a laptop. Van der Sloot had Chilean, Bolivian and Peruvian money.  Monday, the first results of the autopsy to come outside.

Joran has had in recent days, the hot blood, was a bundle of fears and feelings. Now, in the lockup in Santiago de Chile, you will reach the calm of resignation, awaiting trial, mom Anita (Paulus Dad died in February this year), an attorney (the famous Joe Tacopina who saved him Aruba hesitate to tangle again), moving to Peru - the fate binds us to Chile of the most gruesome ways! - well, here turns on the light bulb of the satanic figurehead, international chains looking for interviews, covers the amazing testimonies of girls and boys who have not even known. TWO IS TOO
Our legendary thirst is insatiable. A guy who commits a single murder is a potential "serial killer". If you make two, but five years elapse, and in different countries, gee, this is a serial murderer globalized consummated. On top of the two crimes occurred one May 30, which runs off the fantasy of all possible cabals.

Any moist eyes you see on Potential serial killer, Joran Van de Sloot, (and I use the term potential serial killer because the definition of a serial killer is having three or more killings under their belt and in Joran’s case there are only two of which we know)  are not tears of remorse or sadness .

Instead, they are tears  which reveal his body’s adrenalin rush  in both the shock and excitement over the new situation where he is the focus of being captured for killing a young Peruvian woman, Stephanie Flores .

In fact that is why it has been reported that Joan looked stunned. He is no doubt in complete shock that he was caught. His narcissism would never allow him to imagine what the consequences would be if this happened to him.

The tears are due to his autonomic nervous system essentially taking over and expelling tears in his system. The reason I say this is because serial killers and would be serial killers have no emotion. They do not feel the same things as we who are not serial killers feel. They shallow affect, lack of empathy, incapacity for love, and a definite  lack of guilt or remorse. In essence Joran is not at all capable of normal emotions in relation to situational appropriate events.

BAD BODY LANGUAGE SIGNS FROM THE GET GO



When you look at the photo of Joran Van Der Sloot at the front desk to pick up his room key after a long night out with Ms. Flores in tow, there is the exact same sadistic smirk that he had when he told an undercover reporter that he killed another young woman, Natalie Holloway  him several years back.



The fact that Joran is walking in front of Ms. Flores  and doesn’t acknowledge her in the surveillance tapes  is not a good sign. It shows a detachment from her.



He doesn’t even look at her when he enters his room with her  which is also a bad sign as it shows he doesn’t care about her. There is not politeness of gentlemanly consideration of letting her enter the room ahead of him.

Once again it speaks to his extreme egocentric and narcissistic behavior ,which most psychopaths demonstrate.
CALM COOL AND COLLECTED AFTER LEAVING A MURDERED BODY IN THE ROOM



If you look at this surveillance photo of Joran leaving the hotel room 4 hours  after he allegedly killed this young  woman as he is dressed in a fresh set of clothes,  his demeanor shows a calmness. There is no muscle tension in his face whatsoever.

There is even that sick smirk on his face that we saw when he admitted  killing Natalie and when he got the key from the front desk four hours earlier when he knew exactly what he was going to do to unsuspecting Sephanie Flores.



There is no tension, or upset or nervous reaction in his gait as he leaves the hotel. His strike is calm and relaxed and not hurried, In fact  His  He looks like he was going for a stroll without a care in the world, carrying a bag and a backpack.

JORAN’S  EXCITEMENT KICKS IN  WHEN ON THE RUN

But he taxi drivers to whom Joran paid $640 to transport him from Lima to Vinya de Mar Chile where he was apprehended, reported that they noticed that their passenger showed signals of nervousness.

No doubt Joran  moved around and squirmed a lot in the back of the cab as he was reported to continuously chain smoke.

Even though they interpreted his behavior as nervous the truth was that Joran was no doubt more excited than nervous and all the extraneous  movement the cab drivers observed  was the result of his autonomic system taking over.

Joran was excited that he was on his way to getting away with yet another murder to satisfy his sick appetite.

JORAN ACTUALLY  BELIEVED HE COULD GET AWAY WITH MURDER

Joran’s narcissism and eccentricity allowed him to assume that he would get away with murder. He was so sure that he would not get caught that  didn’t even do anything to hide the brutally beaten body complete with the neck he snapped and broke. He didn’t even take the time to check out of the hotel. He just went on his merry way.

Why should he think of the consequences? Five years earlier, to the day, he got away with the murder of another young beautiful girl, Even though he was arrested repeatedly, he beat the system.

NO DADDY TO PROTECT AND  ENABLE JORAN




His father  Paulus also had his back at the time enabling him in his sickness. But now that daddy , who suddenly  died of a heart attack  four months earlier is gone, Joran has no one to cover for him or to tell him that he is loved unconditionally.

Perhaps Joran’s going out of his way to kill again had something to do with the recent death of his father. Since he cannot mourn  his father’s death because has no feelings, he  wants to feel something.

So he kills again to feel something, he kills to feel the excitement and the adrenalin rush he no doubt felt when he killed Natalie Hollyway.

PARADED AROUND TO REPORTERS




Three times, Joran  wearing a green  bullet proof vest,  was paraded around to hundreds of people, including reporters.

No doubt authorities wanted everyone to get a glimpse of this real live monster who killed a lovely innocent woman who did not deserve such a horrific fate.

So now that daddy isn’t there to protect him, 22 year old Joran is reaching out to mommy as  told authorities to call his mother in Aruba. My heart does go out to his mother whom I am sure had no idea that she spawned a monster.

Of course  Joran  denied any involvement in Stephanie’s death. Little does he know about the surveillance cameras. The fact that he didn’t check out yet left with his bags and belongings, and took a cab to Chile instead of to the airport and flying directly  to Argentina and his cropped short dyed red hair at attempts to disguise himself,  does not bode well for him.

Even one of the best defense lawyers Joe Tacaopina won’t be able to help him. Tacopina was heard on television shows saying how it is easy to blame Joran because he has a bullseye on his back from the Holloway incident. But no one will be able to defend Joran this time- especially in Peru.

JORAN’S NEW HOME FOR THE REST OF HIS PATHETIC LIFE




A Peruvian prison is not anyplace anyone would want to be, especially when they are only given on e blanket in the freezing cold of the Andes Mountains. Since Peru does not have the death sentence, the rest of Joran’s  life will be a living  hell.

Just ask former American college student  Lori Berenson who was accused of political activism in Peru. She spent  15 of the   best years of her life in this hell and she didn’t even  kill anyone.

So one can only imagine what will happen to Joran when he is locked up. The fact that he killed the daughter of a beloved national hero- a Peruvian race car driver and Presidential candidate  won’t sit well with prison guards and other prisoners. Neither will the fact that he is an outsider and a foreigner.

And let’s say he does get 30 years and is released when he is in his 50’s, no doubt he will be extradited  to the US where he will face extortion charges in Alabama and spend the remainder of his life in a US prison. He tried to extort $250,000 from  an associate of the Holloway family in exchange for revealing the whereabouts of Natalie.

One of Joran’s buddies  who was interviewed said he had a gambling and drug addiction. That is no doubt because those are the only times his adrenalin kicks in and he can feel anything. He also apparently has a killing young innocent women addiction which thankfully has come to an end. Now both Natalie and Stephanie can rest in peace!  wwdrlillianglass.com

Lawyers advised Joran
Two assisting counsel represented him in Office and Dirincri, but calls a lawyer Dutchman. His backpack was found  a laptop that could be Stephany Flores. Police are investigating.

The Dutchman Joran Van Der Sloot, 22, feels increasingly cornered. So, now struggling to communicate with his mother and getting a lawyer to free him from Dutchman a tough sentence which could be many years in a prison in our country. The young man is guarded by four policemen in the cells of the Dirincri. The officials said that note was tense.

ARGH, now they are saying it isn't Joran's laptop they got from his backpack, it was Stephany's. "His backpack was found a laptop that could be Stephany Flores. Police are investigating."
So, does anyone know if they have been able to recover the things Joran says are in some Chilean hotel room? Things like his credit cards, etc?

That must be another translation blurp...how would that be possible? When she left her home to go out w/ friends, would she have taken her laptop?? If so, where was it when they entered the Hotel room? Neither of them were carrying a laptop. This doesn't sound right to me.

thanks Nut.....the translations of many things are making many twists and turns and the basis for a lot of incorrect information.....I do not want to see any manufactured evidence. I want joran punished for crimes he committed, not crimes or evidence that are manufactured. I want to be able to say, Job well done, Justice has been served. I want to ensure that my sleep is not disturbed by thoughts of ANY more injustices. I am an old woman and I need my sleep. IF somehow, someway, joran did not kill Stephany, (and I don't see anyway he didn't do it be possible) I do not wish to see him convicted of it. I would prefer he be extradited to the US and face the charges here of extortion. and hopefully someday be tried and convicted of Natalee's death as well.  This might not be a popular opinion right now, but it's mine and I will stand firmly to it.

In fact that is why it has been reported that Joan looked stunned. He is no doubt in complete shock that he was caught. His narcissism would never allow him to imagine what the consequences would be if this happened to him.

The reason I say this is because serial killers and would be serial killers have no emotion. They do not feel the same things as we who are not serial killers feel. They shallow affect, lack of empathy, incapacity for love, and a definite  lack of guilt or remorse. When you look at the photo of Joran Van Der Sloot at the front desk to pick up his room key after a long night out with Ms. Flores in tow, there is the exact same sadistic smirk that he had when he told an undercover reporter that he killed another young woman, Natalie Holloway  him several years back.

The fact that Joran is walking in front of Ms. Flores  and doesn’t acknowledge her in the surveillance tapes  is not a good sign. It shows a detachment from her.

He doesn’t even look at her when he enters his room with her  which is also a bad sign as it shows he doesn’t care about her. There is not politeness of gentlemanly consideration of letting her enter the room ahead of him.

Once again it speaks to his extreme egocentric and narcissistic behavior ,which most psychopaths demonstrate.

CALM COOL AND COLLECTED AFTER LEAVING A MURDERED BODY IN THE ROOM

If you look at this surveillance photo of Joran leaving the hotel room 4 hours  after he allegedly killed this young  woman as he is dressed in a fresh set of clothes,  his demeanor shows a calmness. There is no muscle tension in his face whatsoever.

There is even that sick smirk on his face that we saw when he admitted  killing Natalie and when he got the key from the front desk four hours earlier when he knew exactly what he was going to do to unsuspecting Sephanie Flores.

There is no tension, or upset or nervous reaction in his gait as he leaves the hotel. His strike is calm and relaxed and not hurried, In fact  His  He looks like he was going for a stroll without a care in the world, carrying a bag and a backpack.

JORAN’S  EXCITEMENT KICKS IN  WHEN ON THE RUN

But he taxi drivers to whom Joran paid $640 to transport him from Lima to Vinya de Mar Chile where he was apprehended, reported that they noticed that their passenger showed signals of nervousness.

No doubt Joran  moved around and squirmed a lot in the back of the cab as he was reported to continuously chain smoke.

Even though they interpreted his behavior as nervous the truth was that Joran was no doubt more excited than nervous and all the extraneous  movement the cab drivers observed  was the result of his autonomic system taking over.

Joran was excited that he was on his way to getting away with yet another murder to satisfy his sick appetite.

JORAN ACTUALLY  BELIEVED HE COULD GET AWAY WITH MURDER

Joran’s narcissism and eccentricity allowed him to assume that he would get away with murder. He was so sure that he would not get caught that  didn’t even do anything to hide the brutally beaten body complete with the neck he snapped and broke. He didn’t even take the time to check out of the hotel. He just went on his merry way.

Why should he think of the consequences? Five years earlier, to the day, he got away with the murder of another young beautiful girl, Even though he was arrested repeatedly, he beat the system.

NO DADDY TO PROTECT AND  ENABLE JORAN


His father  Paulus also had his back at the time enabling him in his sickness. But now that daddy , who suddenly  died of a heart attack  four months earlier is gone, Joran has no one to cover for him or to tell him that he is loved unconditionally.

Perhaps Joran’s going out of his way to kill again had something to do with the recent death of his father. Since he cannot mourn  his father’s death because has no feelings, he  wants to feel something.

So he kills again to feel something, he kills to feel the excitement and the adrenalin rush he no doubt felt when he killed Natalie Hollyway.

PARADED AROUND TO REPORTERS


Three times, Joran  wearing a green  bullet proof vest,  was paraded around to hundreds of people, including reporters.

No doubt authorities wanted everyone to get a glimpse of this real live monster who killed a lovely innocent woman who did not deserve such a horrific fate.

Even one of the best defense lawyers Joe Tacaopina won’t be able to help him. Tacopina was heard on television shows saying how it is easy to blame Joran because he has a bullseye on his back from the Holloway incident. But no one will be able to defend Joran this time- especially in Peru.

JORAN’S NEW HOME FOR THE REST OF HIS PATHETIC LIFE


A Peruvian prison is not anyplace anyone would want to be, especially when they are only given on e blanket in the freezing cold of the Andes Mountains. Since Peru does not have the death sentence, the rest of Joran’s  life will be a living  hell.

Just ask former American college student  Lori Berenson who was accused of political activism in Peru. She spent  15 of the   best years of her life in this hell and she didn’t even  kill anyone.

So one can only imagine what will happen to Joran when he is locked up. The fact that he killed the daughter of a beloved national hero- a Peruvian race car driver and Presidential candidate  won’t sit well with prison guards and other prisoners. Neither will the fact that he is an outsider and a foreigner.

And let’s say he does get 30 years and is released when he is in his 50’s, no doubt he will be extradited  to the US where he will face extortion charges in Alabama and spend the remainder of his life in a US prison. He tried to extort $250,000 from  an associate of the Holloway family in exchange for revealing the whereabouts of Natalie.

One of Joran’s buddies  who was interviewed said he had a gambling and drug addiction. That is no doubt because those are the only times his adrenalin kicks in and he can feel anything. The Peruvian media has already been convicted Joran van der Sloot. The Dutchman was presented to the press after being delivered to the Court of Peru wearing convict clothes. Also video footage of his first interrogation can be found in many places on the web. The Foreign Ministry is considering a response.

Joran van der Sloot, accused of killing a girl in Lima will receive a fair trial. This has ensured the Peruvian interior minister, Octavio Salazar. In the meantime come to light is increasing evidence pointing to Van der Sloot.

Peruvian police claims that initial investigations clearly point to an involvement of Joran in the crime. According to police, the victim of 21 years, Stephany Flores, was beaten to death with a tennis racket. There are also video images that appear on the suspect and victim together in the hotel. On the first examination of Van der Sloot is already on the street in the form of a video on the web.

No protest
Unlike previously reported, the Netherlands embassy has protested the publication of material accuser. The Foreign Ministry is considering an eventual official response about how to proceed in Peru. A Foreign Affairs spokeswoman said: "I raised the query to the ministry about how we must act."

In principle, the Netherlands does not deal with the trials conducted in other countries, but it is possible that in this case there is reason to protest. The suspect, meanwhile, still claims his innocence in the death of Stephany Flores.

In their help has come in the U.S. attorney, Joseph Tacopina. This was asked on Peruvian television how it is possible that the body of Flores spent three days in the hotel room of Van der Sloot without anybody noticing.

Extradition
Peru and the Netherlands have no extradition agreement that allows foreign defendants should be tried in their own country, even if you are negotiating for some time on a so-called agreement stipulating that WOTS Dutchmen arrested in another country to serve their sentence in the Netherlands. It is unclear when it will reach an agreement.

Even if such an agreement was closed after a conviction of Van der Sloot, the Dutchman could still benefit from it. The condition is that both countries had no objections and that the culprit himself would agree. It is too early to say whether Peru would agree with such extradition.


Theft
The motive for the killing of the girl of 21 years seems to have been robbery. Stephany's father said to have disappeared jewelry. In the girl's wallet disappeared also $ 1,000 to Flores had given his daughter to buy a laptop.

Van der Sloot is still detained in a police cell in Lima. His trial detention has been extended by seven days. For him it has reserved a cell in high security penal Castro-Castro. The complex has room for 4,000 prisoners.

Rob, As you may already know, I am not convinced that was Natalee's remains in the fish trap.  I just don't know one way or the other.  Not a popular position to hold on this forum but I'm used to that from not believing the Lorenzo connection.

If that was Natalee in the trap, why wouldn't ALE have just removed any remains before the dive crew arrived?  I think they would have.  And they certainly would not have been providing coordinates if there was anything to be found.

But since ALE absconded with the contents, no one can know for sure, IMO.  But it has never made sense to me that ALE would say to dive there if there was really anything to be found.  Not their MO.

As for this witness and the pond, I thought as you did that this had already been checked by Golba.

I understand your position, and I agree with it. I don't know fer a certainty who was in that trap. It just fits most of what we know, and many of the elements seem to be there from what we have seen. I would just say - it's the best chance to date.

Security tightened around Joran

 LIMA -  The security around the 22-year-old murder suspect Joran van der Sloot has been tightened for fear of a suicide attempt by the Dutchman.  That the Peruvian authorities have informed against Upi.com website.
 
Van der Sloot is suspected of the murder of 21-year-old Peruvian Stephany Flores, whose body was found last Wednesday in the TAC hotel in tourist district of Miraflores in Peru.  The Dutchman is also still a suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway case.
 The Sunday escaped Van der Sloot was last Thursday after a manhunt by police Friday arrested in Chile and transferred to Peru.  He currently resides in custody at the police complex in Lima.
