Well, you know there is blame for their neglect on the extortion thingie, and yes the money that Beth gave Joran, when the FBI should have nabbed him, allowed him to move about.... Who is directing the FBI?  I think it falls under the DoJ, probably NOI.

It appears to me when the Aruba "officials" got wind that the FBI was going to arrest him they tipped him off and he fled the country. The timing is just too coincidental not for that to have happened. They seem to have stayed one step ahead of the FBI throughout this entire case. Of course the FBI does not have jurisdiction there except as Aruba gives them so the officials have to know before anyone is arrested.

Yes-that is what I think as well;  What I'm very curious about is why Greta is casting blame [ it's become overkill with this mantra ] on the FBI for his fast exit.  With Aruba's track record of always keeping the FBI out of the loop, this really makes her look foolish, imo.

Joran van der Sloot has a lot of reasons to attempt suicide if you were to ask Beth Twitty or Ricardo Flores and family right now, but the alleged murderer of Stephany Flores and Natalee Holloway wasn't able to take his own life, according to UPI.

Suicide effort elicits stronger security

When an inmate in a jail or prison facility feels their crime--and potential ability to escape the consequences of it--are nil, they sometimes move to thoughts of suicide. According to UPI, Joran van der Sloot has made such an attempt.

Peruvian guards learned the Dutch alleged murderer made a possible attempt on his own life recently, necessitating tighter security over the 22-year-old man.

Van der Sloot is reported to have a criminal attorney representing him now, but the Dutch authorities are also denying any willingness to pay the fees for such. With his own legally qualified father deceased and unable to represent him, Joran van der Sloot finds himself in a situation like never before: without an escape hatch.

Joran's former lawyer Joe Tacopina told FOXNews, in an on-air interview Monday, June 7, that he has no plans to resume defending Joran van der Sloot, but he is hard pressed to understand the rash rush to judgment in the case against him in Peru.

FOXNews interviewers were not impressed and, clearly, Natalee Holloway's mother would be the first to cite the fact that Joran's own attempts to get money for revealing her daughter's remains isn't the acts of an innocent man.

Van der Sloot is either the most unlucky young man in the world or he is a guy bent on beating and murdering young women. It's one or the other. A suicide attempt is not known to occur by innocent victims of crimes they didn't commit.

Suicide attempts in jail or prison usually indicate an inability to deal with an anticipated guilty verdict and lifetime incarceration or punishment by fellow prisoners masked as a suicide. Joran van der Sloot has been accused of beating up on girls, like Natalee Holloway and Stephany Flores. He is now in a jail with men. You think about that.

Thanks Carpe!!!! The rosa nautica is a nice restaurant is in the beach, close there are night clubs and it located pretty close to where tha monsters hotel. Also close to that place are parking areas where people go to have sex in their cars and that area is very dark and easy to kill somebody and trow the body to the beach.
