I'm a couple pages behind still, but I agree with darleen.  He's a lying POS and he's even trying to blame Stephany for it and saying he didn't mean to.  Bullpucky!

I also don't quite believe that she was alive when he left for coffee.  Why were her pants off? 

And I don't believe he's been keeping evidence of his guilt on his laptop either, I hope I'm wrong but I think that's just wishful thinking.

I think he killed her because he's a killer.

Fortunately whether he had a lawyer present or not, whether this confession stands or not...they've got him and he's not getting out of it this time.

That's a good point, Cecilita.  He's so narcissistic he probably did just that.  Murderers are noted for following their crimes, as well as returning to the crime scene.

I'll bet it doesn't have anything to do with her looking at his computer.  The report said he caught her reading about him being a suspect in Natalee's murder; that's not secret news--everybody knows it.  He's such a liar.  And, I agree with the poster who doubts she was alive when he went for coffee; he didn't leave secret stuff on his computer accessible to her.

Stephany received $1,000 from her father the day before to buy a laptop. It could have been something as simple as her seeing Joran's while he was buying the coffee and she grabbed it to check out the features, test drive it, stumbled on whatever trophy info or blackmail stuff he had on there and was so shocked in what she had stumbled upon that she did not even hear him when he came back through the door.
