Klaas do we really know what Bill is thinking? He has his dabbling's in every corner of the world within business. Not only IT.

First - Thank YOU Klass for creating this cage. It is very welcomed. And as I say below I am happy that we as Monkey's are allowed to voice our opinions.
Gates
He is huge in 3rd World countries including Medicine, vaccines and their banking futures - His money and influence.
http://uk.finance.yahoo.com/news/bill-gates-explains-why-nations-should-back-his-third-world-aid-mission-tele-57beb5e3e2d9.html?x=0

snipped:
His aim is to reduce costs to ensure that mainstream banks don't have to charge their poorest customers high interest rates to cover their overheads. Working with big business, not surprisingly given his background, is another way he ensures the work of his foundation and other non-government organisations (NGOs) can go much further.

Maybe a snarky article - but it is valid to be read - from March 2010
http://www.marketoracle.co.uk/Article17644.html

Microsoft founder and one of the world’s wealthiest men, Bill Gates, projects an image of a benign philanthropist using his billions via his (tax exempt) Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to tackle diseases, solve food shortages in Africa and alleviate poverty. In a recent conference in California, Gates reveals a less public agenda of his philanthropy—population reduction, otherwise known as eugenics. Gates made his remarks to the invitation-only Long Beach, California TED2010 Conference, in a speech titled, “Innovating to Zero!.” Along with the scientifically absurd proposition of reducing manmade CO2 emissions worldwide to zero by 2050, approximately four and a half minutes into the talk, Gates declares, "First we got population. The world today has 6.8 billion people. That's headed up to about 9 billion. Now if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we lower that by perhaps 10 or 15 percent." (author’s emphasis).

My personal views are my own and I welcome that I am allowed to post them here. I find that Bill Gates is way over his head and not knowledgeable enough to state his " strategy's within Man and Medicine" or alike. Yes, he may be the founder of Microsoft - He is not though a Doctor nor a man of human science. He is relying on other sources " Paid" by him - to use his money in what fashion ? To project the end result of his " study" unto the USA and 3rd world countries - as the next ?? Windows of ??

I find it all to be quite scary. That Gates has this much influence within the entire world.

Trine University Commencement Address by Coach Bob Knight, May 8, 2010.

http://www.trine.edu/media/video/BobKnightVideo.html

Bob Knight does not have anything to do with Bill Gates, the video clip is business related.

His advice I feel is worth watching. He speaks about winning to the guaduates.

Microsoft boss Bill Gates was photographed by the Albuquerque, New Mexico police in 1977 after a traffic violation (details of which have been lost over time).

In our developed world, we usually plan the number of children we will have based on our ability to provide for them. Uncontrolled birthrates among the populations of poor, sick and starving people in third world countries creates a never ending cycle of poverty.

What Bill Gates believes is that uneducated people in poor countries procreate so that the children grow up to take care of them in their old age.  Because of the unhealthy environment, many children do not grow up to adulthood, so it is necessary to have several children that some might survive.

He believes if he can get them healthy through vaccinations, they will begin to limit the number of their offspring themselves, helping to get their poverty under control.  He also says there are statistics that demonstrate this is true.

In this YouTube video Bill Gates he explains what he is thinking.  Some people have twisted what Bill Gates was trying to say (he's not the best at articulating what is in his mind) and then had their fun sensationalizing it at the expense of (IMO) a sincerely compassionate person.
