HollyGMother has an interesting question concerning a photo and date.

Hi ALL... I wonder why everyone is still speculating on the photo's and whether she was there that day or not. It has been established by LE through witness accounts that she was there. The date on the eraser board is to blurry to make out but that does not matter, the date may not have been changed yet that morning from the day before. Any way it is a moot point. I hope I don't sound peevy but I am concerned that the rumors take away from the facts.  I think LE knows that Kyron disappeared from the school that a.m. What they are trying to establish is whether it was Terri H that took him out unnoticed, or someone else that blended in the crowd that lured him out somehow. It saddens me that they don't seem to be looking for a live Kyron anymore. A live Kyron would not be in the lakes. Sad   I wonder of the cell phone pings, ARE THEY FACT?  Why is LE doing a thorough search of SI?
On blinks site with the triangulaton theory a black hawk helicopter is working hand in hand with the searchers. If Terri H. is guilty she needs to come clean.
It is only a matter of time before LE reveals what they know. sigh... this has got to stop in society... our children are precious.

Catching up here but I do not find the wrong date so concerning. Often the date does not get changed immediately in the morning in my son's class. I asked my son when the teacher changes the date and he said it was about the time she did attendance - and since this was early in the day the lack of date change does not bother me all that much. That would change if we knew when the photo was taken of course.

Apparently there were witness who observed both Terri and Kyron at the school that morning.

However ... my hinky meter hit red in regards to Terri when it was revealed through cell phone records that she had not been forthcoming to authorities concerning her whereabouts on the day that Kryon went missing.

For crying out loud ... her stepson was missing ... the truth was where it was at.

There were witnesses, but who is to say it wasn't that day but the day before, I don't know. I still am trying to figure out why little Tanner, Kyron's friend was allowed to speak, when the family was told not too.

About the dates on the blackboard... while in school I had teachers who would erase everything from the board at the end of the day, and those who left everything in and would erase it the next school day.

So, even if it says June 3rd, it all depends on what that particular teacher's regular routine is about erasing the board.

The exhibit looks like it was done in the library, but could be the homeroom, fixed up for the fair that day. The reason I think it could've been the library is that I see something that looks like a reading cubicle.

About people "confirming" stuff... nothing has been OFFICIALLY confirmed by LE... lest they hamper the investigation. The only fact confirmed is that Kyron is missing.

That's one of the reasons why they passed out the questionaires, to make sure more than one person attests to seeing a particular thing, and not someone mistaken on the dates and what exactly they saw.

It would seem weird, as an example, that only one student saw Kyron at a certain time... and nobody else saw him.

IMO.

Hi monkeys,

This article takes quite a while to connect the dots (throughly) and the video, too.  I had a better understanding
of "who" saw Terri leave alone...

http://blinkoncrime.com/2010/06/23/new-clues-in-kyron-horman-search-fact-or-fiction-you-decide/

snip..

From Blink notes: Pumala address is on Sauvie. In particular it is the start of the original start area for which MCSO requests video footage, and it has direct access to the channel, which has been a heavy search point.

Additionally folks– we have the investigative equivalent of “the closest distance between 2 points” here. Gram or “mom” Pumala is neighbor to Ky.

Non-custodial Dad, a former neighbor and presumed aquaintance, lives withing the perimeter of the focus of most of the search efforts, AND the alleged cell pings.  snip...

Even though the man was circled it took me awhile to see him, but couldn't describe him from that photo. Is there hinting that perhaps a family member of Tanner's could be responsible? Or is there hinting that perhaps step mom was having an affair with one of Tanner's family members? I'm confused.

I think sub='s helper. This person could have been a sub at one time but was just helping with the fair.

My first thought about why the boy was asked to speak was to clear up some misinformation. Now I guess the families know one another considering they have been neighbors. Did the boy talk before the search of the island or after? Could the search have been prompted by the family allowing information out there when asked not to speak about it?

WITNESSES

Details emerge about the day Kyron Horman turned up missing
Published: Saturday, June 05, 2010, 11:21 PM
Updated: Friday, June 18, 2010, 5:02 PM

They arrived sometime after the school opened about 8 a.m., went to his classroom, dropped off his coat and backpack and he showed his stepmother his exhibit, "The Red-Eyed Tree Frog." ...

Although the school usually opens at 8:35 a.m. and the final bell rings 10 minutes later, the school opened as early as 8 Friday for the science fair, said Matt Shelby, spokesman for Portland Public Schools.

Other students and parents showed up early as well to check out the fair, and Terri and Kyron saw people they knew while looking at the exhibits, Carol Moulton said.

Terri often volunteers at the school, working closely with Kyron's teacher, Kristina Porter. Shelby said that Porter saw Kyron in her classroom with his stepmom before 8:45 a.m. and another instructor reported seeing him in another classroom at some point.
At 8:45 a.m. when the bell rang, Terri walked her stepson down the hall close to his class

The Prairie Chicken

snip...

What happened after that is unclear.
.
But these are additional reports from various sources that I find interesting:
.
Carol Moulton said the kids were supposed to report to their classes and be divided into small groups of a few students each. Each group was supposed to tour the science fair with a chaperone. Afterward, when they returned to their classes for roll call, Kyron wasn't there, she said. He apparently was not in any group and no one noticed.

.
In another report Zimmerman said everyone went into their classroom for the science fair and broke into parent-led groups of four or five. She wasn’t sure what group Kyron was in, but she said the last time she saw him was at 8:45, when the groups began going from class to class.
.
Again, according to the sheriff’s office, the stepmother saw the boy walking toward his classroom at 8:45 as she left the building but officials with Portland Public Schools said Horman’s teacher never saw him in class which started at 10 a.m. The teacher marked him absent.
.
Kyron's backpack and jacket were found in his classroom. The children pointed out to the teacher that Kyron was missing and she never called his parents.
.
Kristina Porter, Kyron's teacher has said that Terri Horman had previously told her that Kyron had an upcoming appointment but Porter didn't remember the date. She said she assumed he was at that appointment, having seen him with his step-mom that morning.
.
When Kyron didn’t get off the bus in the afternoon, his parents called police.
.
Gates said Saturday that police received a 9-1-1 call at 3:45 Friday afternoon.
.
Portland Public Schools spokesman Matt Shelby said two teachers saw Kyron with his stepmother and thought the two left school together.
.

Nora Schreiber, a Skyline parent and volunteer, said the school has three main entrances and one secure exit. Two of the doorways are near the main office and are monitored, while a third on the north side of the school is not. Kyron's classroom is adjacent to that door, which opens onto a rear parking lot.
.
I've heard it is now a criminal investigation. That can't be good.

Thanks seahorse.  From article
Portland Public Schools spokesman Matt Shelby said two teachers saw Kyron with his stepmother and thought the two left school together. Wow, if this is true. It is amazing in a way how little Kyron was hardly noticed that day, like he blended into the woodwork. How sad.

Thanks Janet. The teacher said she saw Kyron and Terri in her classroom before 8:45 and another teacher reported seeing him in another classroom at some point. So are we to understand this as, Miss Porter saw Kyron and Terri that morning in her classroom and another teacher saw just Kyron in her class without Terri at some point that morning? Why not say the time? I think when you consider the statement of the child along with this time frame, Kyron was in the classroom at 8:45 when the bell rang and he was placed in the group as was planned. Everyone then  left to tour the fair but Kyron did not come back. jmo

Terri's mom, Carol Moulton when telling the story to the press had stated Terri and Kyron had got into Terri's car, she didn't say the truck. I would think if she took the truck that morning or if she normally drove the truck she would have said they got into terri's truck, but she said car. So did she take the truck? Seems it is being said she took a car I found that interesting. Was someone working on the truck or was it having problems that day?

Mediamama, that is not Kyrons project, that is a classmate Kurtis posing with his own project.  The boys must be friends outside of school too, it looks like Kurtis and Kyron  out together in some of the other facebook pics.
