Good morning.  Like I said days ago, Joran probably took Stephany to his room to get high.  When she came to... and saw the laptop, she looked on it and saw something that angered her.  Joran said that she flipped out when she saw who he was.  I don't believe that.  I believe she saw something else on that laptop that angered her and she tried to leave but he wouldn't let her leave knowing what she knew.  I bet a dollar he took pics of her posed and drugged.  Daddy cannot erase the laptop this time.  I hope we see pics of Anita collapsing in arms when she hears Joran is going down.... just like we saw Beth 5 years ago -June 11, 2005.  Stephany may have tried to delete photos or get into files.  I hope that laptop is checked file to file.  The Vandersloot home and grounds need to be checked thoroughly.  That furniture truck that came to the Vandersloot home days after Natalee disappeared was pretty fishy too.

SOMEONE knows.  The truth will come out.  We will see justice for Natalee,  and for Stephany.

The people in the world who watch the news know who Joran Van Der Sloot is. Joran also knows this, so I don't think he got so enraged about Stephany finding out who he was. I believe she stumbled upon something in his files that had information about him actually killing Natalee, and confronted him with it when he returned with the coffee. Joran panicked and flew into a violent rage. I think the over kill was due to the 5 years of dealing with a conscious that reminded him every day of what he had done to Natalee, all the troubles he had because of being accused, and the brain damage done by all the drugs and alcohol he had resorted to. The psychological damage became too great for him to endure, and he just snapped.
I shutter to think of the pain Stephany must have experienced before she took her last breath, and I hope and pray this monster gets what he deserves. I don't care if they torture him to get him to finally tell the truth. I hope every minute of his life from now on is miserable to the nth degree.
He is going down and he is taking Aruba with him. I wish there was a way we could divert the oil spill to their shores.

Hi Misgivings, good seeing you here.  Perhaps they could just send him to Gitmo, being more expeditious than sending him to Atlanta or Birmingham to stand tiral, and he is, after all, so adept at other cultures and multilingual, he should have no problem.  He could just get out and swim to wherever he wishes to go.

Since Stephany's Dad was a race car driver, I wonder how many Nascar fans will be he Alabama prisons? They won't take too kindly to what he did to Stephany.

Remembering how frustrated Joran became in Aruba with the beach re-enactment, I am hopeful he trips himself up in the one today to give further cause for Peru to throw the book at him. I feel sure they will measure what he says during it against the forensic evidence they have already gathered - checkmate Joran!

I believe FALSE.  I guess some Canadians found a bone or something and the rumor mill started from there.  As far as I know Dave/Tim trip was planned prior to Joran murdering Stephany.

According to the article a few pages back, he put Natalee's body in the sea, so I hope Tim doesn't waste his money on a land search.

So Aruban authories are all of a sudden curious as to what is so incriminating on his laptop?  And they're now saying they may have "missed some evidence" in their original investigation.  Ya think?  Seriously????

Colombia police investigate Van der Sloot over missing girls

Police in Colombia are investigating whether Dutch national Johan van der Sloot was involved in the disappearance of two girls in Bogotá. The chief suspect in the murder case of Peruvian woman Stephany Flores was reportedly seen in various casinos in the Colombian capital in the company of young girls.

The sensationalist newspaper El Espacio has published an article on the Dutchman, linking his visits to Bogotá casinos to attend poker games between 6 and 14 May 2010, to the young women’s disappearance. The two girls went missing in the same period and - according to eye-witnesses - were spotted in Van der Sloot’s company. The 22-year-old Dutchman stayed at two or more hotels, the newspaper reports.
 
Crosses the border unnoticed

On 14 May, Van der Sloot left for Peru. According to a Colombian police spokesman, “there is no official documentation” of Johan van der Sloot crossing the Colombian border into Peru. The spokesman admits in Dutch newspaper, the AD, that there are several points along the border where it’s possible to cross over without being checked.
 
The police spokesman has confirmed that Bogotá is investigating the disappearance of the two girls, but stresses that there is as yet unsubstantiated evidence to implicate Johan van der Sloot, who is still the main suspect in the case of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway.
 
Notoriety
Van der Sloot gained international notoriety because of his connection with the disappearance of US teenager Natalee Holloway on the island of Aruba in 2005. Ms Holloway's body has never been found and the case remains unsolved. Although Van der Sloot is the chief suspect, no charges have been brought against him due to lack of evidence.
 
Natalee's father, Dave Holloway, has said he hopes the confession over the Stephany Flores murder will lead to more revelations in Natalee's case. The father of the US teenager said a long prison term in a Peruvian jail would at least be a just punishment for Van der Sloot. The Public Prosecutor in Aruba has offered to assist Peru in the Flores investigation.

Once in Peru, Van der Sloot checked into a hotel in the capital, Lima. The Dutchman has since confessed to the murder of the 21-year-old Peruvian woman on 30 May. Apparently, Van der Sloot reacted furiously when Ms Flores used his laptop without his permission and discovered his link to the disappearance of US teenager Natalee Holloway.
 
If found guilty of murder, Van der Sloot faces a 35-year jail sentence in Peru. In the case of manslaughter, he could get a 20-year jail term. Peruvian Minister of Social Development and Women’s Affairs, Nidia Vílchez Yucra, is calling for the maximum sentence.

In all these years Joran has done nothing to hide himself, to keep a low profile.  I find it difficult to believe now, unless drug rage, he would go off if someone discovered who he was.  If anything, he has purposely kept a high profile.

CNN said there was a new development........ prolly hype but I wonder if they've charged him. Wow, the 2 missing girls in Columbia were seen with Joran? I hope Aruba and Joran's family feel the blood flowing on that island and that they realize that they'll never be able to wash it off!
