The Dutchman Joran van der Sloot will not be spared being charged with murder (sentence ranging from 15 to 30 years in prison) because they acted with incredible coolness after killing Stephany Flores (21) and even breakfast while planning how to disappear the body of the young.

Police sources linked to research narrated the daily La Republica told by the Dutchman during interrogations.

"He sat in the 309-room bed and breakfast, staring at the girl's body lying face down on the floor. Drank an espresso, ate four biscotelas and ingested three tablets of amphetamine, thinking about how to dispose of the body" , detailed.

I wonder if he has pictures of a dead Natalee on his laptop.

Blah, this is ignored every time I bring it up, that he might have done snuff videos on Natalee and this may have been his anniversary gift of her death to himself, to do a snuff video of Stephany and she found the evidence on his laptop and confronted him or got caught...knowing what was about to happen and fought it.  Or, she could have died without the evidence of Natalee, and he just made that up and snuffed her out.  I have always thought that gap of time on the phone for such a long time with Kalpoes was downloading a video of  Natalee dying.

I'm not sure I understand the last sentence in the article above.  Does it mean that the U.S. has sought extradition from Peru to the U.S.?

articles and prepositions in foreign languages, just like ours, can have different meanings.  I think it means the US has sought extradiction of Joran from Peru to the US.

Joran Van der Sloot is one sick man.

The details of his alleged confession to the murder of a 21-year-old woman inside a hotel room in Peru included sipping an espresso and chowing down on cookies while the bloodied body of Stephany Flores lay on the floor just a few feet away, according to a chilling new report.

Van der Sloot had even debated whether to take the body with him and dump it in the ocean.

"I was going to use one of the traveling bags to take the body out of the hotel," Van der Sloot told police, according to the Peruvian daily newspaper La Republica. "I didn't because I was too afraid to be confronted."

The 22-year-old also swallowed several amphetamine pills as he pondered what to do next.

Fearing he could be busted for the slaying, Van der Sloot showered, got dressed and fled the room, just three hours after he'd arrived at the hotel with Flores, according to surveillance video released by authorities in Peru.

Van der Sloot had thought about getting rid of the body by dumping it in the ocean, cops believe after finding maps charting currents in his backpack when he was arrested in Chile a few days later.

This comes as two federal law enforcement officials say US authorities paid Van der Sloot $15,000 in a sting operation and delayed arresting him because they were trying to help build a murder case against him in the 5-year-old unsolved slaying of Natalee Holloway in Aruba.

During that delay, Van der Sloot arrived in Lima, Peru, on May 14 from Colombia and authorities said he has confessed to last week's killing of a 21-year-old business student in his hotel room there.

The law enforcement officials say the investigation into Holloway's unsolved murder was revived about six weeks ago when van der Sloot reached out to an individual close to Holloway's mother in Alabama and requested $250,000 in exchange for disclosing the burial site of Holloway's body on the island of Aruba.

They checked with authorities and say there is nothing to it. According Colombian police and Colombian attorney general`s office, there is no disappearance currently being investigated in Bogota or no investigation in Colombia in general in connection with Joran Van Der Sloot.

That`s what they are officially saying in Colombia. Of course when you say investigation, possibly just questioning is not tantamount to a full investigation at this point. But this is what information we`re getting from the law enforcement in Colombia tonight.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: All right. So they would know if there were two women missing in Colombia and apparently we`re not hearing that.

So Mike Brooks, it`s a good thing that we have Jean Casarez there in Peru to check this stuff out.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: Tim Miller, you`re the one who gave us this report that you had heard from Jossy Mansur who is the editor of “Diario” newspaper in Aruba that the authorities in Colombia had launched an investigation because two women were missing in a casino in Colombia.

Now we`re hearing from Jean Casarez that Colombian authorities are saying it isn`t happening. Now, we know in cases like this, I call it urban myth. Things, they sort of take on a life of their own. Is it possible that Jossy is simply wrong or his sources are bad? Because we`re getting conflicting information here.

MILLER: It`s possible that it is. I know that he was going to run that story tomorrow morning in his newspaper. And again while I was there he did get a phone call which stated that authorities were going to — and in fact had getting to Peru to go ahead and talk to Joran Van Der Sloot. That was, I must say, three or four hours ago.

Also your caller said that it was also aired on a Spanish TV station.

Foxnews, Megyn Kelly just announced that they are awaiting video regarding the renactment "anytime now."

I dont give a dang what he or his family are trying to pull now with a "forced" confession - the bottom line is the evidence will be overwhelming so if he wants to recant, so be it - he is still screwed, blued and tattoo'd on the evidence.   He's not getting out of a murder charge with a police coercion allegation here.

Also, I dont know if this was previously brought up as I havent had a chance to read back today but Im rather miffed with Joy Behar, I normally dont watch her show on HLN but the channel was still on in a room I wasnt in for a bit after watching NG - she had the gall to make a statement about Stephany, the victim "she shouldnt have gone to his room."    Unbelievable, no one knows the facts surrounding why this girl went to his room, but then again it really doesnt matter - there is no reason to victimize the victim yet again questioning her judgment.   In my view, the comment was insensitive.   This blowhard catty beeotch doesnt even know all the facts surrounding this case, again IMHO maybe she should just shut her piehole on criminal cases & just stick to entertainment news.

She is TOO STUPID to even talk about entertainment. She NEVER gets anything right. I seriously doubt she will be on much longer. I hate to see her breathe and  use good air that could be used for real people.
