I can remember Greta during the OJ trial, but I don't know what channel she was on.
She would come on several time a day with a 3 person panel, another of which was
Roy Black.  Greta always maintained that OJ was innocent.
Greta was ugly as a stump back then.  She has had facial surgery since then.

Nancy Grace would report on the OJ trial every morning on the Today show.
Nancy was cute back in the day.

Not Castro Castro yet, the formal charges still need to be made.  I think we are expecting that very soon, then he will be transferred.

Burden of Proof--that was it. I loved her (and still do) because she was smart, and I thought it was refreshing to see a woman whose fame is based on her intelligence.

Thanks, NJ. I couldn't remember his name for the life of me. I think we have to thank OJ for the emergence of Goria Allred too. Didn't she represent the Brown family? I don't recall seeing her before then, and I haven't stopped seeing her pop up everywhere ever since.

 Van der Sloot Arrest Reminds Us That Hindsight Is 20-20

Over the next few weeks, there will be much talk about the arrest of Joran van der Sloot for the murder of a woman in Peru. He’s the guy everyone pegged in the Natalee Holloway case. Apparently that suspicion never waned in the five years since her disappearance.

It turns out the FBI was in the middle of a sting operation after Van der Sloot tried to extort money from the Holloway family for telling them where he buried Natalee’s body.

In fairness, agents were trying to build a stronger case against him in the Holloway case, and could never foresee the murder of Stephany Flores.

Criticism comes with the territory; but when you hear people say that agents should have acted sooner in arresting Van der Sloot, remember that hindsight is always 20-20.

Aggravated Murder!  Oh I Hope So!!!  I heard a lawyer on FOX say that even 35 in Peru can turn into half that ... but he probably won't last 35 hours.  Gringo who killed a Peruvian girl ... not looking good for Joran!

More to the point: I am mildly curious about how Greta was able to air portions of the Joran interview on her "special" Saturday night.

The interview was heavily edited to make Greta look fierce and penetrating in her questioning. It left out the parts where she fawned all over him.

I thought Joran's deal with Greta was that the interview had to be aired in its entirety, with no parts left out. They made a big deal of that going into the interview.

So has she broken the contract with him now by showing only portions on Saturday? I would hate to think that he has recourse against Fox news, for heaven's sake.
