Does anyone know if the LE in Peru has said what info they found on Joran's computer?

I  know they wanted forensic techs people to look at it, Aruba wanted the files...but have we heard yet what they found on his computer?  Also they should get a warrant in Aruba to check all the computers of his family and friends of the family.

Longtime lurker on this thread. Had to come on and say what wonderful news this is.  Thank you to everyone here for all your hard work, information and updates.  I know many of you have worked very hard on this case for the past 5 years and now maybe, just maybe, Natalee will be found.

Police: Van der Sloot has information about Holloway

(CNN) – Joran van der Sloot told investigators during an interrogation that he knows the location of Natalee Holloway's body, but he would neither identify the location nor say what happened to her the night of her disappearance, a Peruvian police official told CNN.

"In the interrogation done to the Dutch citizen, he says he knew the location of the corpse of the American citizen, but that he was going to explain everything to Aruban police," said Miguel Canlla, head of the homicide division of the Peruvian national police investigative unit, on Thursday.

Van der Sloot, a 22-year-old Dutch citizen, is suspected of killing a 21-year-old woman in Lima last month. Stephany Flores Ramirez was found beaten to death in a hotel room registered in van der Sloot's name. Van der Sloot was captured in Chile and returned last week to Peru, where authorities say he confessed to killing Flores.

hmmm...this is the first time I've read this..but I don't get to read everything and got wrapped up in the live video yesterday.

Hopefully, Natalee's whereabouts are in this puter and his "information" will be irrelevant

Is it normal for the Netherlands or any other country to send food and lawyers to thier citizens accused in other countries of murder?? Is that standard procedure?

I read this morning that the Judge had to grant permission to look into the computer files.  I expect now that permission has been granted, imo

I wonder if Joran is asking to speak to a specific Aruban official.  Does he want to tell them they better help him out or he'll let the house of cards fall.  It it's allowed, it will be interesting to see who shows up. 

If it happens, I guarantee it will be Dolph Richardson.

If it happens he has to have rock solid proof (in writing & emails).  Because if he is just going to blabber people won't believe him and say he is a liar.

I think this is where Anita enters the picture.  Anita has the information but in this case will she use it.  She doesn't have Paul to back her up anymore and she is going to have to call in some hugh favors.

Hi Gypsy.  Peru would have no jurisdiction in Aruba, just as the FBI has no jurisdiction in Aruba*.  LE from Peru cannot arrest citizens of Aruba or swear out warrants, NOR CAN THE FBI.  Only Aruban LE, would have jurisdiction.

*For all the idjits out there that keep blaming the FBI for not arresting van der Stool.

I personally don't think it is. There are hundreds of Aruba prisoners in their jails and I have never heard of such I have a feeling that was someone who was posing as someone from the embassy or set up by "officials" to get to him and tell him not to talk.

I just heard on TV they charged him with first degree murder which is a life sentence in Peru. He keeps telling them he will only tell where Natalie is to "authorities" in Aruba. Guess what SOB, you will NEVER see Aruba again, but BIG BUBBA will make you tell before it is over.

I had faith that Peru wouldn't capitulate to the dutch or to Anita and her hired guns. It's a great moment to see the charges but tinged with such regret that if only Aruba had valued Natalee's life accordingly, Stephany would be alive today.

I am discouraged to see this come up on the google feed today..........lots of pointing fingers.
