Forgive me, but this is one of those drive-bys.

Was anyone else disturbed by what transpired the last two nights or am I alone in my sick feeling?

BFN has more users online this morning than Refugees, that's the first time I've ever seen that

  Yeah ~ half the Refugees are probably posting at BFN now....  ::frown::

I have to ask a stupid questiopn...what on earth would trigger someone to actually want to post on a blog site which advocates a perceived lack of sympathy to a murder victim and her family?  I know that there are some who found that palce by way of banishment from others.  But, are these people posting simply evil by nature, or do they actually believe they garbage they are spewing??  Baffles the mind, doesn't it??

Ok, had to rant a little.  How you doing Katz??  Where you going on your vacation?

I'm "going to" Vegas, Strike!   Between the eye surgery and the car ~ I'm tapped...  But I will lounge around the pool...  nah...  I'll be swimming and then BBQ'ing in my backyard and at my sisters...

And I'll be making Prince CDs for my new car...  And making copies for friends at work...

And I'm seeing Santana on July 29th...

And, I think I'll be scheduling eye surgery for the left eye on August 1st...

I'll have that program that I just bought make a Quicktime movie of it... Was it a good show?  If anyone wants to see it ~ I'll send it ~ but it'll be a large ~ real large file...

Does anyone know of a program that can convert a Quicktime movie to a Windows Media Player movie?

Katz - it wasn't a new show it was a recap of recent happenings in the case.

Naw, just human fralties; ie: egos, competition between boards; who has the best source and best info, disrespect for posters by withholding information from them, etc., etc.  

I realize that people all have "clay feet" (a biblical reference), truely I do; however, I just hope other people realize this also.

OK ~ thanks Klaas ~ I guess it isn't urgent to watch it then...  the computer is pretty much locked up when I'm using to play DVDs ~ can't really do anything else on it...  And especially when I'm also using memory to record what's playing...

I hope Nancy's show is an intro to hearing good news from NY...  I think NY is Natalee's family's best shot at justice...

Memphis, you have to rise about that other stuff.  Whenever many seperate people are put together in any place (this blog, or others), there's always bound to be some egos exposed over time.  It's only natural.  There's also going to be some infighting amongst the collective.  But, where you should take solace is the simple fact that we happen to reside (here) in what many consider the "hub" of the wheel...not just a spoke.  I'm not trying to expose MY ego by saying this.  It's simply fact.  And, everyone knows when you're #1, you have many more enemies then you would...say...at #100.  It sucks, but it's true...

Hey, I have to tell you...I took a look over at the RU site...haven't been there before.  Anyway, reading through some of the posts, and saw some familiar names.  Now, knowing remember these people as having the same views as us here and posting those views previously (on this site), doesn't that tell you something about them now?  What I mean to say is this...It's VERY obvious their motives now are out of spite, not truth.  They don't really believe what they say...they only belive it's opposite of what they feel.  They can call Dave Holloway derogatory names all they wish, but these are the same people who had his back before banishment.  These are nothing more then hypocrites.  And, I don't know about you, but as far as I'm concerned, hypocrites are the hardest ones to respect...period!!

I'll tell you one thing...that site reeks of filth and ignorance!  People like that don't deserve even our attention much less response...

thirdstrike, I try to ignore all the undercurrents. It's just that some, while still human, have greater responsibility because of their position. Although not picked up by most, sources where clearly revealed in what transpired. I will get over it ~ just disappointed.

On Saturday I got a  Little Red Love Machine!

A '97 Special Edition Honda Accord ~ original owner, 77,000 miles, CD player, nice sound system, moon roof, leather and that woodgrain heavy stuff on the dash, trim and steering wheel ~ dealership maintainence record that my mechanic could look through, all original paint, no door dings even... sleek, sexy body styling, lots of power, handles beautifully...  silver exhaust pipe...  black underbody trim...  I'm going to get the windows tinted...  it'll look real nice then...

JR STATEMENT - SEQUENCE OF EVENTS
 
1.  On July 14, 2006 at 10:26am PST Debbie at BFN posted a statement Julia Renfro made to the police.  That statement implied that Julia Renfro had been paid to make the statement to ALE.
 
2.  That same day, Dana Pretzer did his radio show to discuss this statement.
 
3.  It just so happens, that Red was was out of town and was not aware that a Statement had been posted.  In fact, Red didn't know Dana did his show Friday night on it and didn't find out about the Statement until Saturday afternoon.
 
4.  On July 15, 2006 Red became aware of the statement.  After reading the statement he felt the statement regarding JR getting paid seemed odd.
 
5.  On July 15, 2006 at 7:04pm PST Red emailed me the statement in Dutch and I offered to try and translate it.
 
6.  On July 15, 2006 I spent a couple hours working through different translators making absolutely certain that the last statement regarding JR getting paid was incorrectly translated.
 
7.  On July 15, 2006 at approx 9:30pm PST I informed Red that the statement posted at BFN was incorrect and the last sentance in particular was completely wrong.
 
8.  On July 15, 2006 at approx 9:30pm PST Red notified the family that there was a problem with the statement.  At 10:26pm PST I emailed the completely retranslated statement to Red.  At 10:26pm PST I created the correction document posted at SM which was then forwarded to the family.
 
9.  On the evening of July 15, 2006 the family requested that Red hold off posting the correction until they did more research.  The family was to call Red back with the OK to post the correction.
 
10.  On July 16, 2006 at 5:24pm PST Debbie at BFN posted the corrected statement translated by Rammstein.
 
Red had notified the family 20 hours prior to Debbie posting the correction.  Red would have posted the correction 20 hours sooner but was waiting for the OK from the family.


THE SAD PART ABOUT THIS ENTIRE EPISODE IS THAT THE STATEMENT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SOLVING THE CASE.  IT HAS BECOME A DISTRACTION.

WE SHOULD BE DISCUSSING THE RECENT DIARIO ARTICLES REGARDING UNDER AGE PORN VIDEOS BEING TRANSMITTED VIA THE INTERNET, IMO.
